Emily and Jenn were absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. They truly love what they do and put so much thought and care into their work! They went with our avenger theme and listened to what we wanted and created everything I asked for and more. Jenn made it so much and easy to understand when picking out flowers and decor and even helped us to stay on price point and cut cost where we could. You will not be disappointed when it comes to your flowers for your big day with these lovely ladies! They will even make extra pieces with the flowers you order to decorate your venue to the fullest. Best and easiest decision to go with Belles and Thistles.

Emily and Jenn were amazing to work with! They were so easy going and flexible! They made my wedding flower vision come true and made the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces! Their ala carte system for picking out your flowers and decor, made it easy to stay in your budget. They gave so many options after hearing what you are looking for. They were so easy to work with and were very organized on our wedding day. They worked really fast to get our room flipped between the ceremony and reception and even came back late at night to pick up our flower and get them ready to drop off at a donation the next day. :)

Jenn and Emily were AMAZING!!!!! First, Jenn was SO helpful in the process of working out our thoughts and ideas for flowers, the fall vibe, we wanted, and working with us within our budget. Working with Jenn and Emily was a dream. I was not your typical bride, dreaming of my wedding day since I was little. However, I did have specifics I wanted with the flower arrangements; I not only wanted them to be beautiful but to throw in a little bit of sentiment and meaning behind them. I knew Belles and Thistles was the right choice as soon as I received the initial proposal, it was the most thorough proposal I had seen and I really felt that Jenn had listened carefully to what I was asking for in our first call together. The flowers were unique, beautiful, and perfectly matched with the rest of the wedding. Jenn and Emily were able to incorporate a personal touch into the groom's boutinouiree (I don't think I'll ever spell that correctly) even at the last minute when my wedding-addled brain was maxing out. I wish I had another big event so I could work with the Belles and Thistle's team again! I highly recommend them!

My husband and I got married on 6/10/2023 in Chicago and we booked Belles and Thistles for our flowers. Jenn & Emily were such a pleasure to work with and we were truly blown away with all the beautiful flower arrangements and options we could choose from. They were extremely helpful and are so organized and detailed! They truly made our dreams come true on our wedding day when it came to the bouquets, reception tables/decor, and our neon sign! We received so many compliments from our family and friends and everyone was obsessed with how the neon sign turned out. They made us feel super comfortable from the start and are always willing to work with you to meet the needs of your budget. They are extremely professional and all the flowers were dropped off and picked up at the end of the night. We can’t thank them enough for their amazing work!! Belles and Thistles were amazing. From the very first call, they demonstrated their knowledge and desire to meet our $ budget and our vision. They helped us hone in on our vision and adjust as we had to make changes based on our chuppah, ceremony layout and more. They were also very responsive to all emails and messages, which was very appreciated since I did all the planning myself and was very overwhelmed! They honestly made the floral process a breeze and I knew everything was going to turn out beautifully (and it did!!!). And the touch of being able to gift the flowers as little giveaways to our guests was perfect, and people loved it. Overall, very easy to work with and I can't recommend them enough!!

They provided all the decorations and personal flowers for my wedding in 2021 and perfectly captured my vision for a soft and romantic look. Belles and Thistles far exceeded our wildest expectations for a flower vendor. Our ceremony and reception at Revolution Brewing on 10/15/2022 looked amazing thanks to the fantastic team at Belles and Thistles. Not enough can be said about the care and personalization that went into making sure we had what we were looking for and all at a very good price point.

OMG! This vendor was by far one of my favorites to work with for my wedding. To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to it because of how expensive floral can be, but Jenn was able to find options that worked with my budget. I reached out to Jenn about two months before the wedding, in a panic because I was under the impression that most couples have all big pieces such as decorations and personal floral. She responded quickly and provided so much information. From that first interaction, I could tell that she was passionate, knowledgable and such a kind person. It was more than floral and a business, she truly wanted to make things perfect for what I needed. With all of her knowledge, not once did she make me feel stupid or inferior when I didn't use the correct terms for certain floral arrangements. After our call, she provided a customize plan with some many options. I looked it all over and made a decision. About two weeks later, I changed the color of the flowers and Jenn was able to make the accommodation! Day of the wedding, Jenn around on time with my beautiful florals! My husband and I were married on 9/24/22. From the first phone call I had with Jenn, I had the most amazing experience- from discussing the vision for our day to the legitimate excitement I felt from Jenn, I knew I made the right choice choosing Belles as our florist for our wedding. I LOVED the extensive options that were provided to us as well as the flexibility with pricing. The options can be daunting but as I am a visual person, their process made it easy for me to choose exactly what we wanted. As Belles doesn't have a storefront, they are incredibly affordable and we were able to get everything we wanted and then some to make our wedding beautiful. On the day of, Emily was incredibly sweet and the Belles team got everything set up quickly and efficiently. I cannot speak highly enough for my experience with Jenn and the Belles team!!

Belles & Thistles made my day so beautiful and beyond my expectations. I would recommend them to anyone. Before I started working with B&T, the thought of florals made me overwhelmed -- I had no idea where to start. Jenn and her team made the process so smooth. They were organized and truly understood my vision during the planning stage. They were so patient when I had no idea what I wanted and helped me select florals that came together. Another huge thing was they understood my budget and were able to deliver what I was picturing while still staying in budget. They were never pushy and through every step I always felt like the B&T team was there and cared about my big day. I would give Belles & Thistles 10 stars if I could. What I loved: - Professional and thorough communication throughout the planning process. The proposal was so detailed, and I knew exactly what my options were and what things would look like. They kept me up-to-date and checked in with me for any changes before they ordered my flowers. - Incorporation of non-traditional wedding colors. We used orange in our flowers, and they were so excited to get to use a less-popular color. - The flowers were GORGEOUS. They turned out better than I expected. - Flexible pricing. They offered good, better, and best options for arrangements that really let me customize my flowers and stay within my budget. They actually came in under budget. - Jenn gave me tips on how to hold my bouquet to look best in pictures. - Re-pack service. For $75, they came back at the end of the night to pack up the flowers for my guests to take home. This allowed me to rent vases and fixtures from them rather than purchasing my own, and my guests all got beautiful flowers at the end of the night. - Customer service. Every conversation and email exchange was so pleasant. They were easy to work with, friendly, engaging, and so helpful in every interaction I had with them. - My other vendors commented about how they had never seen a florist offer the services Belles & Thistles offers, and they were very impressed with their work. Some of these vendors have been in the industry for 20 years. I honestly have already recommended Belles & Thistles to a friend who just got engaged, and I will recommend them to everyone I know who is looking for a florist.

Emily was AMAZING! I initially dreaded the process of picking flowers because I didn’t have a clue on where to start. But this is why she and her team are professionals — they know exactly how to provide the best service for your event. She essentially sent me an entire catalogue and I went through each section cutting down what I knew I didn’t want and immediately narrowing it down to top 3-5 choices. We met via video chat a few times and continued communicating via email to discuss details and changes. Emily was honest about pricing, timing, details, etc. from the very beginning. I truly loved working with belles and thistles. We had a large wedding planned for June of 2020 and ended up cancelling. Jenn and team were so kind and understanding throughout the craziness of Covid. When some of our venders we're insisting we pay the full cost of their service (not just the deposit) Belles and Thistles offered to split the non-refundable deposit and actually give us money back. We decided to keep our deposit and see how things played out and I'm so happy we did. B&T worked with us with our much smaller backyard wedding. They were so understandable when we cut the amount of centerpieces and bridesmaid bouquets. When we decided we wanted to build out own arch they were on board and when I later hinted that our carpentry skills were not as good as we originally thought, they pivoted, breaking our flower pieces up into smaller pieces so they could be easily removed if they were too heavy. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. Wpuld work with them again in a heartbeat ♥️

Just reading about Belles and Thistles I knew they were the company I probably wanted to book and when we had our consultation it was set in stone. I am a very organized Type A person and the way they went about everything was exactly what I needed. I appreciated their honesty from the very beginning and told me what would work and didn't work and didn't just say yes to please the customer. The professionals opinion is very important to me. They were in excellent communication every step of the way and when I finally got to see the flowers I couldn't believe how gorgeous they were and how they nailed my vision without even myself knowing what the vision was. We also had to last minute switch to our rain location and they made everything happen on their own and it was everything I could imagine. Please support small business and support a female owned business and book these ladies RIGHT AWAY! One of my bridesmaids is getting married next year and already booked them because she was so impressed with their work. You will not regret it.

Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. They were so responsive to emails and were there every step of the way. Even though our venue closed three months before our wedding, they were so considerate and traveled to Wisconsin Dells. The flowers were GORGEOUS and they were extremely friendly. I had the pleasure of working with Belles and Thistles for my wedding day, and the whole process was enjoyable! Due to COVID, our original florist unfortunately had to close, and I was down to the wire to find a new florist. Jenn was very easy to communicate with, and made it easy to me to decide what I wanted. She was always available to answer questions and to give her opinions on things when I needed it! The bouquets were gorgeous, as well as the aisle markers and table decorations. Jenn was always respectful of my budget, and I couldn't be happier with how things turned out! So, we were totally clueless as to what we wanted in terms of flowers for our wedding. We conceptually knew that weddings have flowers and that we would like them, but that was about it. The team at Belles and Thistles were incredible partners in helping us find our floral voice, ensuring our flowers fit both our tastes and the space. They have a well-streamlined process, including offering a huge array of styles and pricing options and several phone calls/emails, which made the process much less intimidating and ensured we could get what we wanted at the price we wanted. Their professionalism and kindness helped ensure that of the million things we worried about in the weeks leading up to our wedding, flowers were never one of them. Absolutely recommended!

Do yourself a favor and BOOK BELLES AND THISTLES. I. Am. Serious. I am SO glad two of my bridesmaids recommended Jenn with Belles and Thistles because she seriously took my wedding to the next level. I was pretty much the worst bride-to-be and severely lacked in the “details” department. I had the big stuff like the venue, dj, photographer, etc. but when it came to everything else like centerpieces and flowers, my drive stopped there. Thank GOODNESS my friend connected me with Belles and Thistles (mind you, this was only 2 months before my wedding). While I would not recommend waiting that long, (and neither would Jenn I’m sure haha) Jenn was still able to pull everything together exactly how I envisioned! I have never been one to have an eye for style and design, but I was having a winter wedding in December and knew I wanted to incorporate some sort of greenery like evergreen without being super holiday-ie. Jenn knocked it out of the park! I literally sent her maybe 3 images on Pinterest so she didn’t have much to work with haha, but somehow read my mind! It truly made a HUGE difference in the entire feel of the space; it was warm and festive without reminding you of a Christmas tree, and looked beautiful in pictures. Belles and Thistles also went above and beyond and helped with the room flip after my ceremony. They set up candles on the tables with the beautiful greenery, reused the sprays from the ceremony arch (they also provided and decorated the arch!), and I was obsessed with my bouquet! As I mentioned, I was quite the laid back bride so Jenn and I never even met in person. She and I were able to hash out ALL of the details and payment via email and she made my life SO MUCH EASIER! Seriously, she was far more helpful than my actual wedding coordinator and truly cares about her clients. She was early to the hotel, helped pin the boutonnieres on the groomsmen, and did more than required of her at the venue. Also, did I mention they are very affordable?!?! Out of all of my vendors, Belles and Thistles was my favorite and I would recommend them over and over again. You will not be disappointed!

Emily and Jenn were awesome. My mom was a florist for several years, so I had a specific vision for my flowers and was a picky customer. We probably emailed back and forth 30 times. They were patient, flexible, and on top of things! Their work was beautiful and they gave me exactly what I wanted. Jenn at Belles and Thistles is literally the best florist you could ever ask for! She listens to your vision and comes up with incredible ideas to match your budget! My husband and I wanted slight Disney touches and Jenn delivered! My bouquet had Minnie heads shaped with roses and the boutonnieres had a tiny wire Mickey! Genius! It's been a few years since our wedding that Jenn & Emily did and I'm still in touch with them today! During our whole planning process they were by far the best vendors we worked with. Very affordable, accommodating, friendly and seriously overall just amazing to work with! I felt more like a friend than a client the whole time. Couple of side notes: a few months after our wedding we had to say goodbye to our sweet fur baby. Jenn caught wind of this and hand delivered a beautiful card and box of cookies for our family. If I didn't already love them enough for the amazing job they did decorating my wedding, it was from the warmth they continued to show my family months later. A year after that, they did the florals for my friends wedding in the middle of a snow storm. The ceremony was starting but the photographer was stuck hours away in traffic. Jenn went ABOVE & BEYOND by grabbing a camera and taking photos for the bride and groom during the entire ceremony. Not her job or position at all but she did it and if not for her, there may not have been any photos. Who does that??? I promise you will not regret working with them!

Belles & Thistles did the flowers for my sister's wedding this early spring, and they did an amazing job!!! Easy to communicate with, super creative, on time, and they are great at what they do. I love that they bring a uniqueness to their work that you can't get anywhere else. I wish I could have kept the flowers forever!!!

I have only good things to say about Belles and Thistles. Emily and Jenn gave me gorgeous wedding flowers and were so easy to work with. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted at first, but showed them some flowers and a few design elements I liked then let them take over. I am so glad I trusted their knowledge and design sense because what I got was exactly what I didn't even know I wanted. Jen was amazing to work with from the get go. We met at a Starbucks to discuss likes and dislikes and in a few days I had a huge spreadsheet with design options for bouquets and arrangement with options for small, medium, and large - which was incredibly helpful for budgeting. She had some many ideas for small personalization details from painting the aisle runner with a favorite book quote to wrapping up our flowers at the end of the night for guests to take home as favors. Don’t look anywhere else for flowers. Belles and Thistles has you covered!!

We had our wedding at Gaelic park and hired belles and thistles as our florists - jen was absolutely amazing. She was knowledgeable, creative, and thorough from start to finish. I was blown away with the work of Belles and Thistles. I had a vague idea of what I wanted for my wedding, but I was very open to ideas. From there it was easy for us to narrow down our options and it was easy to picture what our wedding was going to look like. They really blew us away with how amazing everything looked on the day of the wedding and they helped make the vision for what we wanted our wedding to look like become a reality!
