A lot of changes were made before and during the big day, which she and her team accommodated and managed so well. Knowing this was a destination wedding, she put me in touch with the best in the business while keeping my budget in mind. Also very important to note that everyone does love working with her, so being Maria's client will get you far with vendors. This is not surprising because she and her team are amazing. She always supported my vision and gave me her honest opinion any time I needed it. You made my day unforgettable I will always be grateful to you.

he day I got engaged Belen wrote to me and said “omg congratulations! I want to do your wedding!” At first, because it was intended on being a small, intimate civil wedding, I swore I would be able to handle planning a wedding in just 4 months (in the middle of a pandemic)… while working a full time job! I quickly realized that, as the guest list quickly grew and the date was fast-approaching, I had to either quit working or hire an event planner - it was a no brainer. I contacted Belen and lucky for us, she was available in Miami, FL for a September wedding! We hired her for the “Month of Coordination package” but Lord knows she was supporting me from the very start, and for that I am eternally grateful! Belen took care of the coordination with vendors prior to the wedding and executed our plans (previously aligned in perfect detail about 100 times) to the T the day of! She handled our demands’ with ease, always had a solution and/or recommendation for every hiccup we came across and thanks to that, as my makeup artist told me on my wedding day “you are the most relaxed and calm bride I have ever dealt with”. re all the venders, took control and gave directives according to my daughter’s specifications. The wedding was perfect and a night to remember. We were able to sit back, soak it all in, and just enjoy the evening. I developed a deep fondness for Maria and the absolute devotion she showed in representing us. from her… Funny to say that I was fully over my head. We’re about a month and half in and we have yet things because that’s the easiest… fooled myself again. My wife had already booked her. I can say AMEN to that. Maria Belen made my stress level meet a new low one. Sometimes we let our ego get in our way knowing that we think we know it all but that’s why they have a profession. She made sure I had everything ready from my side so she she can start her work. Making it a smooth ride for this occasion was huge blessing. As my wife and I were panicking because of the wedding date approaching, Maria continues to tell us not to worry about anything. Dang right she was. I was just nervous overall but didn’t have to worry about anything else besides my wife running away at the alter. Beautiful work from her. I don’t write reviews but this one was worth it. aria on the phone who was very nice and offered me a very affordable price for not only one wedding planner but a wedding planner and an assistant. I could not believe that I was getting a wedding planner and an assistant for such an affordable price so needless to say I booked with this company and am so glad that I did! My main wedding planner was Juan and the assistant was Marcela and both of them were amazing! Juan was at the venue during the setup and Marcela was with me while I was getting ready and during our photos. Juan called and texted me a few times to confirm some details, which I greatly appreciated because I am a very detail-oriented person. There were moments during the day when I began to get stressed out and Marcela was there during every one of those moments to assure me that everything was going to be just fine. There were a few changes that we made during the day of our event and the two of them were very accommodating and flexible! Hire them, you won't regret it!

d as a month of wedding planner, maria attended every wedding-related meeting from the moment we hired her (several months prior to our wedding)! we really felt that she went above and beyond - she was so helpful, involved, and she never missed a thing! on our wedding day maria and jenny truly worked magic! they were doing things for my husband and i before we could even ask for a task to be complete! they allowed us to soak in each moment of our special day while they took care of the rest! truly, they took so much stress off of our shoulders - for a bride, this means everything!!!! we love maria and jenny! there are no words to describe our experience with bellisimo except for AMAZING!!

She handled all the little emergencies that came up, dealt with the things I forgot, so that all I had to worry about was having a great time. They did a really beautiful job setting everything up, and making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be at the right time. I was on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator, and I am so glad that I did! There is no way things would have been ready on time, or gone as smoothly had it not been for Maria. Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding.

It was a lot of pressure cause my husband and I had finally decided to get married after 17 years of dating and if it wasn't for her, I would have been one stressful bride. She walked us through everything and had everything under control. If you think you don't need a wedding planner, think again. We’re incredibly lucky to have worked with Maria Belen and her staff.

om the moment we began working with Maria, she was a rockstar and kept us on track, without overwhelming us. For instance, she provided a helpful template to use to keep track of all ceremony and rehearsal items to ensure things went in the right place and were returned as needed. Also, Maria directly connected with our vendors to ensure things would arrive smoothly. Most importantly, in the face of a potential hurricane threat up to just days before our wedding, Maria stepped up above and beyond to help us deal with unexpected changes and to keep up our morale amid the uncertainties from the weather. Just a couple days before, we had an unexpected 30% reduction in our guest attendance due to guests being wary of traveling due to the weather. Maria worked with all our table arrangement changes and meal changes. Not only that, but she proactively engaged our venue to see what could be provided in lieu of the meals we would no longer need – one of the things she was able to negotiate was a specialty cocktail menu that was a hit at the wedding. Even further, one of the uncertainties that cropped up came from our officiant, who posed doubts about being able to move forward with the ceremony on the day planned. Maria reached out to the officiant and the ceremony venue to ensure that the ceremony could proceed as planned, given that the forecast seemed favorable for our day. On the day of the wedding, Maria kept things moving in an effective but not intrusive way – she kept the focus on our happiness and appreciation of the moment of the day. We were worried a day of planner could make us too timeline focused and stressed, but this was completely the opposite with Maria’s help. One of Maria’s roles during our wedding was to set up DIY centerpieces with the materials we sourced – they turned out above and beyond what we envisioned and the venue looked absolutely amazing. Any unexpected things that cropped up (stained shirts, missing items, etc.), were handled deftly and smoothly. Thank you Maria & the whole team at Bellisimo – we would not have had a better partner to pull off the wedding of our dreams, especially amongst all the curveballs!

Maria Belen took care of all the big and major stuff for my wedding, all I had to do was provide her with decoration and personal stuff and her and her staff made sure to make my dream come true! Literally! I hire Maria Belen not only as day of coordinator BUT also for wedding planning, every meeting we had she made sure to keep my numbers $$$ on check! and remind me of all the little details I could possibly forget. The day of my wedding she even showed up at my hotel to check on me and even went out of her way to get me some last-minute things I forgot to take care of! Her team provided the most delicious food, and great quality service, which is very important! I still get compliments from friends and family about how nice everything was at my wedding. I will for sure hire Bellisimo Events for any other special events I will host in the future! Great Team! Recommend her 100%

acted selfish, egocentrically and only looked after her own interests. We got her top of line full - all inclusive wedding planning package, which was her most expensive package, food was also from her (from bellissimo cucine). I will put a short list of just SOME of things she did upside down: -In my reception it rained after dinner and all my guests were getting wet and Maria Belen just froze herself in front of the dessert table doing NOTTHINGGGG, her face was in shock like oops I didnt have a plan B, so instead of taking action she did nothing but stand there. On the other hand my mom and my sister handled EVERYTHING, AND TOOK ACTION INTO WHAT WAS GOING ON. My mom and sister told all the wedding guest to go upstairs so they didn't get wet and to continue the party there. Our wedding guests (and off course not Maria Belens staff) where moving the furniture upstairs so everyone could fit! Maria Belen did absolutely nothing when we really needed her wedding planning knowledge and skills, she told her staff to do nothing. -Maria Belen NEVER HAD a plan B. It rained in the morning, hours before the wedding started and that was never a sign for her to get a tent. -This was one of the worst things Maria Belen did, she told the DJ it was ok for him to leave at 8pm, when we paid him until 11pm! (she recommended us that DJ also) It was not until my sister sees the DJ packing his stuff and she goes and ask Maria Belen why is the DJ packing his stuff if he was paid until 11 pm. AGAIN my mom and my sister had to tell the DJ to continue with the music until 11pm. -We paid for a WHITE dance floor and she delivered a BROWN UGLY and bad quality dance floor. -When we visited her flower vendor with Maria Belen we gave him pictures of how we wanted my bouquet and centerpieces, and in our wedding day the centerpieces were very very small (not like pictures we printed out and took to the florist) and my bouquet was nothing like the picture we agreed upon, it was also very small and different flowers (turns out her flower vendor ripped us off). I would have rather payed MORE to a more honest vendor, than just get ripped of with very small centerpieces. -We were about to go to the church ceremony and she forgot our rings and my veil and again MY MOTHER AND SISTER WERE THE ONES THAT NOTICED AND WENT BACK AND GET THEM. Maria Belen didn't care about these things, she just drove to church. -The whole time in the reception she was waiting for someone to tell what to do in each moment, she never took the lead or had any initiative at any moment during the WHOLE ENTIRE WEDDING, my mom and my sister were telling her what to do all the time. A Wedding planner is someone that takes control and initiative at all moments in the weddings and solves any type of problem that comes. She didn't act nothing like a wedding planner, she just froze all night and my mother and sister had to take action and handle everything, she was just very careless about absolutely everything. Nothing was stress free with her. My mom and my sister and my bridesmaids couldn't have a good time because of her.

She always had great recommendations and guidance based on her experience but was also very flexible and accommodating when we wanted things specific to our taste. y husband, the two most indecisive people of Miami, through the potentially overwhelming wedding planning process, she also helped us put together the wedding of our dreams. Not a single detail was missed. As someone with a very demanding job, Something Perfect helped me stay positive about the wedding planning process throughout it, rather than grow to resent it, which was truly an incredible gift in itself. Everyone keeps commenting about how happy I looked on our wedding day and I definitely credit Maria Belen and her team with a part of that by allowing me to truly just sit back and enjoy the best day of my life. If you're thinking about doing it, do it. She is amazing...

She was very attentive. One email or phone call away every time (even texts!) She helped me coordinate meetings with vendors around my schedule. Vendors close to my home or work. You name it! She just made it work. She was super knowledgeable and had lots of vendor options for me to pick and chose from. She had a great portfolio and lost of recommendations. She took a lot of the “stress” some brides claim to experience. Not me! I had the sweetest most attentive planer. Everything a Soon to be Mrs. can ask for. She reminded me of all the important dates, details, contracts, etiquette and walked me through the ones I had no idea about. She was 100% in control of it all. I was so lucky to have chosen her. My wedding & the process was spectacular. She has magic! I will forever be grateful for Maria Belen. I fully recommend :)

She was able to recommend things that I never even thought about that made my wedding turn out amazing! When planning a wedding organization is key, and she was always on top of it. Also, the chef she uses for her catering has the best food I have ever tried at a wedding. And I'm not just saying that because it was my own wedding LOL. She was so flexible and even recommended a salad that I wanted that was not on the menu. I would highly recommend her Services to anyone planning a wedding.
