lanning it myself but in hindsight I’m so glad that I got a planner, and Terri specifically. She was one of Shutter’s recommended vendors amongst many and I chose her because of her experience and reasonable rates (many planners do full service which I didn’t need).
I really appreciated her insight and experience both as a planner in general and in regards to Shutters specifically. She was only contracted as my month-of planner but before then she was always available for quick questions via email such as invitation etiquette, vendor referrals, etc. During the month-of she was an invaluable asset! I was managing the wedding plans fine until then but everything inevitably piles up in the last month and I’m SO grateful I didn’t have to deal with any of the vendor coordination; when someone was booked I just sent their contact info to Terri and she handled everything down to a minute-by-minute schedule for the band.
She was amazing the day-of as well. There were huge perks in her familiarity with the venue such as knowing exactly who to contact if an issue came up and knowing where things are stored. She also ran a very informative rehearsal, how the bride hand off goes, tips on how to hold flowers so they show up better in pictures, etc. I was the first of my friends to get married so we didn’t know anything and when the next girlfriend got married I was able to pass on the advice as her planner didn’t tell us anything. Would definitely recommend Terri!

We called around in search of a coordinator which we didn’t have before since everything was coordinated in house at our previous venue. Terri was available and on board with our crazy idea to essentially re-plan our entire reception in 2.5 months - that meant we needed vendors who were also available, within budget, and on board! We pulled it off - and Terri made everything as smooth as could be! We have received so many compliments on how amazing our reception was, and we definitely could not have made it happen without Terri!

rri is at the top of her game and as professional as they come. She's friendly, intuitive and sensitive to what the bride is needing to make her wedding day perfect. When Terri is in charge, you can just sit back and enjoy the big day knowing she's working behind the scene assuring everything is going off on schedule and as planned. During the planning process she had the answer to every question we had and always responded quickly when we reached out to her. She even allowed us to lower the cost on some items that she recommended which were actually a much better choice than what we were thinking. My daughter thanked me at the reception for giving her a dream wedding which to a dad was priceless. Terri played a huge part in making that happen. I repeat, she's the best in the business.

Planning a wedding can be a like a second job at times, and Terri helped me feel constantly in control of what I wanted to happen for the big day. She worked out a great schedule, connected with all of our vendors, and seriously her solutions for any little problem were so helpful.
On the day of, she managed to make sure everything went as smoothly as it could. So many of my vendors told me how she was such a pleasure to work with and that matters a lot -- you may work with a planner face-to-face but if other vendors enjoy them too you know they are good. All of them worked in unison and she made sure everyone was on time and on point.
Terri was everything we needed in a planner and I would highly recommend her for any wedding or event!

d with her professionalism and got to know her very well. When I heard her mother had passed I was amazed by her composure and professionalism having lost my own mother. I was upset that my mom couldn't be with me for my big day and Terri was so supportive even in the face of her own loss. My event was seamless tip to tail. So reading that she should be tending to nail polish parties is quite frankly offensive and I encourage people reading the aforementioned review to please ignore as it is degrading and baseless. Loved the job they did and am referring them to my friend who is getting married next year.

She is incredibly resourceful and well connected with respect to vendors and knowledgable on venues that match your vision. She was always available through text, email or telephone. Terri made planning our wedding fun and effortless! She demonstrated poise and professionalism under extreme duress. She handled every curveball thrown at her seamlessly and provided additional support the last few weeks before our wedding. After it was all said and done, we learned that Terri had experienced a significant loss, yet she remained professional and dedicated to ensuring that our wedding ran smoothly. Her dedication and unimaginable sacrifice made her services even more special!

ffered, promised to do, but did not deliver), doesn't go MIA during a critical time of planning (went MIA on us) and comes with an "assistant" who isn't her underage daughter - TERRI CASTILLO IS NOT THE WEDDING PLANNER FOR YOU. She is a very nice lady but planning and executing our wedding - Terri was way off the mark. Shutters Hotel has her on their vendor list (please read my review on yelp for Shutters Hotel) and is friends with their catering director - brides beware! Again, Terri is a lovely person but I would never recommend her to do a wedding. Maybe she should stick to nail polish parties, which, apparently, she is very good at.

Thank the Lord that Terri was available for me. I told her what I wanted and she took over and made sure to make it all happen and beyond that! She is such a pleasure to work with. She is extremely patient and was always available each time I would call, email or text her. Nothing was ever a problem.
My guests had a wonderful time and are still raving about my party. It was so worth it hiring an event planner and especially Terri. She really made the night so memorable for me and my guests! I highly reccommend her for your next party or special event!

The only thing bellisimo events did do was watch us like a hawk to make sure we were obeying hotel rules. Who are they working for, exactly.
