BRIDES BEWARE: Bellissima Bridal is the last place you want to go for your wedding dress shopping.
My experience with them was an absolute nightmare, and I feel obligated to share...
my story to prevent others from falling into the same trap.
*For a more thorough version of my review visit Yelp.*
Despite being promised a discount on accessories in exchange for a positive review, I am relieved that I didn't rush to leave a review until after I picked up my dress â a decision that ultimately saved me from endorsing a business that does not deserve any praise.
The dress I found at this shop was beautiful, but not the color I envisioned walking down the aisle in. Despite being assured that they could order it in ivory, the dress arrived in a darker nude color.
When I arrived to pick up my dress a few weeks before my wedding, I was shocked to find out that it was in the wrong color. The lack of attention to detail was evidentâno one bothered to double-check the inventory upon arrival.
What made this a truly horrible experience was the way that Bellissima Bridal handled the situation:
Blame Game: Staff members immediately shifted blame onto me, insisting that I had ordered the dress in nude. They dismissed my concerns and were unresponsive to my feedback. Its good thing I was able to reach out to the designer and have proof of order with my receipt.
Lack of Empathy: Not once did they apologize for their mistake. They brushed off my concerns and offered a quick fix without considering my preferences.
Unprofessionalism: Staff members were dismissive and unhelpful, prioritizing other appointments over resolving my issue. Their behavior was a complete 180 from the day of purchase.
Lack of Solution: They refused to rush order a new dress and insisted on a quick fix that did not meet my needs. Their lack of communication and disregard for my preferences only added to my frustration. They insisted on changing the lining in house and claimed they wouldn't be able to do so with designer. I had to contact them myself.
Communication Issues: It was nearly impossible to get in touch with the manager, who was never available. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, they failed to communicate effectively.
Refusal of Refund: Despite their own policies stating that refunds are issued for color discrepancies, they refused to provide one. Instead, they insisted on a rushed alteration that I did not approve since it wouldnt be here in time.
Manipulative Tactics: They ignored my requests for a refund and falsely claimed that I was not accepting a resolution. They even went so far as to rush order a dress I could no longer use, without my authority just to avoid giving me my warranted refund. This dress would no longer be here in time and I did not authorize the order and communicated this.
Instead of addressing their mistakes, Bellissima Bridal exacerbated the situation and refused to provide a refund. Their sleazy tactics, untrustworthy behavior, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction are unacceptable.
Bellissima Bridal failed to uphold their own policies and standards of customer service. I urge all brides to steer clear of this establishment
GO HERE! I can't say enough amazing things about Bellissima and Sophia who attended to me!!! Though I didn't find "the" dress here, some of my favorite dresses were here. And it wa...
s extremely hard to pass on them. And my experience here was UNMATCHED (and I went to like 7 shops). Not only were the gowns gorgeous and there are such large selections to choose from, but because Sophia was a twenty out of ten with customer service! My amazing experience began when I called to make an appointment as the ladies on the phone were incredibly sweet and knowledgable. And then in person, WOW. They blew me away. I came in earlier than my appointment that day and they were so accommodating and happy to see me. Sophia made the whole time comforting and fun. She's energetic, patient, and kind. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride and gave me such incredible bridal advice that I carried with me to my other appointments. She truly touched my heart with her pep talks (I held back happy tears) and uplifted me in those moments I began to feel a bit overwhelmed from my family's various opinions. She even followed up with me the days after my visit to gather my thoughts on the dresses and help in any way she could. So visit Bellissima! I promise you won't regret it!
Great shop with attentive staff. Partially picked this place because I would be dealing with them throughout the process and tailoring and I felt like I could trust them, and that ...
they would be just as helpful for the rest of the process. Beautiful gown selection and they had dresses to try on in my size (18) which is rare for such an elegant shop. I went to SO many places on the mile and these folks are the absolute best.
This was my first appointment looking for a dress and I can't say enough wonderful things about the store and the staff! They were helpful and listened to what I was looking for! A...
ll the gowns I tried on felt like much higher quality than those I tried at other stores. It was my first appointment of the day and the staff encouraged me to look at other options to make sure I found the right dress. The other stores I went to made me feel rushed and most of the gowns I tried on were worn out. When I walked back into Bellissima, the staff remembered me and made me feel so special when I said Yes to the Dress!

osphere was beautiful and Yadiris was so kind, she gave me her full attention and made me feel like royalty. The staff here has the perfect balance of putting their full effort in trying to find your perfect dress in a way that does not put off the impression that they are trying to just make another sale. I will recommend Bellissima Bridal to everyone I know getting married in the future. Thank you Yadiris for helping me find my dress !!!

ress was gorgeous đ itâs just a matter of finding what you really want. I went back a second time to have all my girls with me and it was such a wonderful an emotional celebrations. I said YES to the dress and was given a sign and bouquet to hold while they played the âmarry youâ song, we took pictures and celebrated. Needless to say there were happy tears. I could not recommend them more. Thank you so much to Maria and Bellisima Bridal â¤ď¸

perfect dress that matched my wedding style and vision. This was the first time that I ever went to try on dresses specifically for my wedding and it truly was a blessed experience! The other workers were very helpful as well, and very encouraging for an experience that was very emotional for me to make my wedding day come true! I can't wait to have my dress!! Not to mention, I was in and out of the store, it took me about 45 minutes only tried on 5 dresses! Overall I had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend!

Do not come here if you are hoping for an easy or joyful experience. When I think of bridal shopping, I think of smiles and accommodating specialists because a wedding dress is a v...
ery important purchase that cannot be taken lightly. My bridal shop experience was not like that here. I booked to this particular shop because they were one of the few shops that had the designers whose dresses I fell in love with. This shop is by appointment only and has a no-show fee of 25 dollars. This made me feel like the shop must be very personal with you. However, when I got to the appointment I noticed that there was another bride there even though the place was very small.
This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I was helped by a woman named Yadiris Perez. After trying on the two dresses, she was pressuring me to buy one of them immediately. I thought both dresses were nice, however, I did not appreciate her pressuring me to make a decision on the spot. I told her that I wanted to try more dresses and she stubbornly dragged her feet while getting the dresses. She was limiting the number of dresses I could try on. I tried on a total of 6 after constant back and forth with her.
So, I decided on a dress. I asked her if I can get it brand new ( not the one that has been worn by everyone at the shop.) This is when she lied to my face. She said "this is a dress in the designer's private collection, it can't be done" ( what does that even mean? ) When I asked more about it, she said "don't worry, this is new. We get the newest dresses from the designers."( This is also a lie.) I find out later that the dress I bought had been discontinued. I bought a discontinued dress for almost 3x its current value and off the rack. (This dress is also a little dirty cause of the dirt from the floor, it gets dragged as people are trying it on themselves.) I was furious. The dress is lovely, of course. I did not go to another store because I flew from out of state so I had limited time to shop in Florida. I do not live in Florida but, my family does. I wanted to share a joyful memorable wedding experience. I would not be able to book another appointment with anyone else since my wedding day is approaching sooner than my ability to visit Florida again. To sum it up, I was floored by this store's blatant dishonesty. I was distraught by the specialist's rudeness and pushiness. My family was disturbed by her pushiness and was advising me to not make the purchase. I guess the only upside is that after you make your big, important purchase, they hand you a cheap, warm bottle of champagne.
Extra info: No renting.

e was efficient in clipping and pinning each dress to me so I could see how it would actually fit. They had a great selection of dresses, all of which were beautiful, high quality, and reasonably priced! Plus, they do alterations in house. I would honestly recommend Bellissima to any of my friends.

feel like a princess! So happy I said yes to the dress!
What a experience! The best ever! Iâm still in tears! Found my dress in less than 20mins! Yess! Less than 20mins! Yessiah(I know I spelled her name wrong) was very patient with me!...
She understood every little details that I told her regarding my dream dress! It only took two dress to try on and I was in love. I would definitely recommend!!! Iâm getting married!!#March2022!

nd I so nicely and professionally. I did not know exactly what I wanted, but gave her a couple of my style ideas and budget. She initially selected about 5 different dresses for me to try one and was ready with lace and clips to help envision what alterations could be made. When she started seeing which dresses I was favoring, but did not appreciate certain features about them, she pulled out one or two more that would suit my ideal (even off the mannequin!). Though it was near closing time, she never rushed me and encouraged me try on my two favorite dresses for a second time, just so I could have peace of mind making my decision. I was not planning on finding my dream dress, but because of her patience (we were there past the store's closing time), service, and intuitiveness on what I would like, I said yes to the dress!
The place was small, but clean and comfortable. The dressing area has a heavy drape for each of the two stalls. Natalie waited patiently as I switched each dress and handed them to her from the side. She did not rush me and only opened the drape unless I asked for help in zipping up. There were large mirrors and a platform to step up on. When I inquired about shipping and alteration timing, since my wedding is in April, they ensured that my dress would come with plenty of time (at least a month or more) for alterations.
The dresses were GORGEOUS. The designs were all intentional and beautiful. There was no wrong choice in picking any of them. The tough part was picking which one I loved more!
Overall, very thankful for the patience, service, and encouragement from Natalie and BellĂsima Bridal!

taff that it seemed like I was never going to find a dress. I figured one more store wouldnât hurt as I already had the appointment at Bellissima Bridal. As soon as I walked in, I felt a warm welcome by Natalie who was determined to help me find my wedding dress. There was much bigger selection than the other places I had been to prior but not to big that I felt overwhelmed. After trying on the first dress I instantly fell in love, tried on a couple more dresses, expressed to Natalie what I liked and didnât like and she pulled another dress for me. I loved it and was completely tied between two, I liked the top of one and the bottom of another. We sat down with Natalie and pieces together what I liked of each to create my perfect dress. For an affordable price, the designer was able to create my dress in under 6 months! My heart dropped when I got the call my dress was ready. When I went in to try on my dress I was very nervous that it wouldnât be how I imagined and I was right. IT WAS MUCH MORE THAN I HAD IMAGINED AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN! I would recommend this bridal store to everyone because of their beautiful selection and their caring and hard working staff.

I felt as if they were my friends helping me pick out a dress. All the dresses are beautiful but you have to find the one that actually gives you that little butterfly in your stomach.
Consultants in the shop were all very helpful and patient! I felt that it was a team effort to find my dress! Yadiris was very supportive and found the one for me.

ked with my consultant (who was amazing) about what style I was looking for and if she thought anything else would complement my curvy body. She gave me about five to six dresses to try on, and after the third one I didn't need to try on any more, I had found THE ONE! We were given champagne and we were able to take pictures and celebrate, as a bride should when she finds her dress!
What is almost as important is that the prices were very reasonable, and if you don't have all the money right then and there they have a great payment plan if you need it. Best decision I made was going here for the most important dress I will EVER WEAR!

When I saw myself in the mirror, I instantly knew that the dress was the one!
The team at Bellissima Bridal Designs was so accommodating, supportive and extremely welcoming. They made what started as a very stressful process so easy and always made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I am very picky and I shot down a lot of their dresses and they never once got discouraged and kept searching for the perfect one. At the end, one of them picked out a dress that had all of the elements I loved and I said yes to the dress! They brought out champagne and photo props for us to celebrate. Overall, amazing service! I highly recommend Bellisima Bridal.

ld show me dresses WAY over my price range. I went twice to the shop. This first time I mistook the shop for another, and miscalculated the travel time. They adjusted my appointment without batting an eye. I ended up falling in love with two dresses, but was never pressured to make a purchase. I made an appointment a few weeks later to go with my mom. They were running behind (I wasnât in a rush and the shops had such a sweet family atmosphere, we were cheering on the brides still trying on dresses). I tried on both dresses and still had some reservations on one of them. The consultant listened carefully to my concern (the other dresses I liked all had sleeves and this one was strapless). She simply said âtrust meâ and stepped away and came back with a cape. Suddenly the dress was EXACTLY what I needed. Staff was so kind and felt like family! Iâm so glad I went here!
