While I understand Mother's Day is a HUGE event in the floral industry and our wedding was 6 days after Mother's Day, we felt like we were kind of cast aside and not deemed important enough. My mom also got yelled at for not paying for enough pew markers, and scoffed at when she offered to pay for a couple more so we'd have them. Our flower girl basket also showed up empty, but thankfully our venue was right across the street from Belmar so our coordinator was able to run over and get that rectified.

It was more than I imagined and she went above and beyond with the decorations of the centerpieces and the cake table. Some details weren't the same as we discussed but that may have been because she made the decision that what she did looked better.
