Ben + Joella did photos for my husband and I's wedding (7/1/2017). They have a unique style of photography that is hard to find. Ben + Joella understand the beauty in simplicity when it comes to photography. Genuinely they want to capture the pure nature of their subject(s). They make you feel comfortable and are enjoyable to be with for photos. Their use of film photography is also a highlight. Film has such a soft and sophisticated look when it is developed. Ben + Joella capture timeless beauty in their photographs.

Ben + Joella are incredible photographers - a short perusal is their website can tell you that. What it can’t tell you is how amazing they are as people. Ben and Joella are seriously the coolest, sweetest, most genuine couple and it was such a joy to get to know them in the months leading up to our wedding. Not only did they make us feel confident knowing our photography was in good hands, they supported and guided us through the stress of planning and really wanted us to be happy on our day. Your photographers are a big part of your wedding. They are there for all the most important moments, and they also interact with your guests and your family. We were so happy to have photographers by our side who felt like good friends. Honestly, they just felt like an extension of our wedding party. Joella even helped me with some pre-ceremony nerves and veil malfunction. And of course, our photographs were absolutely gorgeous. The way they shoot on film makes everything look dreamy and ethereal, perfect for a wedding. Ben and Joella are amazing artists and that is part of why we chose them in the first place. I’m convinced they made everything look even better in the photos than it did in real life. They caught all the little details and some of the fleeting moments that were wonderful to look back on. The prints are packaged so beautifully, it feels like you are receiving something precious. It really makes a difference to be able to hold prints in your hands and relive the day as you go through the whole box as a newly married couple. I feel so lucky that we were able to find Ben + Joella. Our wedding feels like it was really shaped by working with them and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

We go to ALOT of weddings so seeing their style and approach was refreshing. Their teamwork and creativity brought a whole new demension to capturing all of the moments possible. We love the memories the photos bring back.

Ben & Joella were amazing! I couldn't have imagined a better experience getting our pictures taken. They were great with our kids and very patient. Even when the kids started to get grumpy Ben always had a way of cheering them up. We have had three go arounds with them and every time it has been a pleasant experience which is something I usually anticipate being stressful. The quality of their photos exceeded my expectations. Nothing throughout our photo shoot seemed forced at all. It simply felt like we were all just hanging out together. Thank you Ben & Joella for the lasting memories and we look forward to next time.

Joella and Ben not only produce wonderful pictures that are works of art, but they themselves are works of art as they produce pictures. They worked very well together, worked well with the bride and groom, and helped people feel comfortable and relaxed with them and their cameras. They captured strategic and amazing shots of the wedding. I was very impressed with their professionalism and how personable they were with the bride and groom and guests.

Ben and a Joella are the dream team! They are so talented, patient & kind. It's hard work to keep kids happy during a photo shoot. My kids didn't want to leave! They had a blast. I loved that Ben and Joella had me create a Pinterest board to be able to see what kind of photo shoot I was wanting. I found that very helpful. They hit all of my wants head on. Sometimes it's hard to put my style into words. I would recommend them to everyone for family photos or any event. We have had 3 photo sessions with them. Our 10 year vowel renewal and 2 family photo sessions. I have been blown away each and every time on how well they capture each and every priceless moment! These photos will live forever! Ben and Joella were professional, experienced, open, and extremely personable from our first meeting. After determining our style and desired type of location(s), they painstakingly scouted for just the right spot. They have a knack for "posing" their subjects without their subjects really realizing it. With two cameras shooting at the same time they were able to capture many special moments, emotions, and tiny details we didn't even realize had happened until we looked at our finished photos. Our photos are gorgeous! Ben and Joella are masters of natural light, and it defintely shows in the finished product. Even their delivery was done with special touches that warmed my heart and made us feel like we were a VIP client. I highly recommend this amazing husband-and-wife duo for any occasion, and I'm extremely grateful they were able to document our wedding!

Ben and Joella first and foremost we're very professional. This experience started off great. They met with my wife and I before the session and asked questions to get an idea of what our style was and what we were expecting from them and if we had anything specific we really wanted to do. Everything was laid out and we knew what to expect. The day of the session, they were early and ready for us at our location and greeted us with open arms. They made us feel extremely comfortable the entire time. The two of them worked seamlessly together and got all the shots we were hoping for.
