hotography for our wedding. Ben was incredibly flexible, communicative, and helpful throughout the process, both leading up to and during the most special days of our lives. He also adjusted our contract to include a few hours of pics during our rehearsal dinner and welcome party.  We connected with Ben via phone, text, and email multiple times, and worked together to create a shared Google Doc with timelines, groupings for family and wedding party portrait shots, couple shots, and other moments we were hoping to capture. It takes an immensely patient and organized person to handle our families. Ben didn’t skip a beat and was so gracious with all of us.  As lovers of the arts and art history, we know a camera can collect a moment in time, but it takes the caring, attentive eye of an artist to truly encapsulate a moment’s feeling and subtle vibrations that make a photograph a trace of our human experience. Ben is a special, gifted person who has such eyes, as well as the presence to go along with them.  Of note—having witnessed weddings and heard horror stories where photographers are pulling the married couple in so many directions that they can’t live through and enjoy the day, we were so amazed at how Ben was able to weave through the events and be a part of it without being intrusive. He was clearly in a flow state as he snapped candid shots that feel organic rather than forced. We were also pleasantly surprised that he decided to take some quality videos on his phone of us boogying down on the dance floor.  You need Ben to be your photographer as much as he deserves all the good things in his life. Stop looking. Don’t hesitate. Ben will help your memories glow, and you will see the most special day of your life reappear before you, just as—if not more—stunning and beautiful as you remember it.  Much gratitude 🙏
