We absolutely love the beautiful photos that Ben captured on our wedding day! He captured the day perfectly and helped us feel comfortable in front of a camera. He was also very professional and easy going throughout the whole planning process. We planned our wedding from across the country, but Ben was very familiar with our venue and gave us insights as we were planning our day. We couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out, and we highly recommend Ben to be your photographer as well!

When we planned our wedding there were two things I knew I wanted. Our venue and Ben as our photographer. I had been following Ben from before I was even engaged and his photos capture life is such a real and beautiful way that I know was timeless, and don’t even get me stared on the way he captures light in the trees! I was so thrilled he had our date available. We met Ben for our engagement shoot and had fun with him! His energy is amazing and I didn’t know at the time how important that would be on our wedding day. Plus he knows the area so well and knew the best spots to pick for our photos and even worked in the rain since our schedule was tight. It made some incredible moody photos that we love! Our wedding day was a blast! Make sure you like your photographer because you spend the whole day with them. Ben had fun with us, he was professional but not stiff, he was calm, and didn’t make us feel like we were being dragged away from our guest at every moment to be posed in awkward positions. He also set everything up so our videographer just got to follow him around and I had confidence he was getting the best shots because of that. I felt fully present all day and the sneak peak images he sent the next day already took my breath away. I have got more compliments than I can count and I can’t wait to see the rest of them! I honestly can’t recommend Ben enough!

Ben truly made our wedding shoot an amazing experience. Not only is he the most talented photographer and videographer, he has such a warm heart and makes you feel so comfortable. He made us feel like naturals in front of the camera, and has such an eye for what is going to look the best. His photos hold our favorite memories and they captured everything we were looking for!!!! Anytime we look at the photos we are consumed with love and gratefulness for Ben. Ben is a top notch photographer. Not only were we happy with his unique style, but we also appreciated his professionalism and wonderful presence before, during, and after our wedding. Ben really put us at ease in front of the camera and helped us stick to our schedule. He gave us sneak peeks the day after our wedding that were stunning and wonderful to look over so soon. If we were to get married again, we definitely would choose Ben.

I poured through pages and pages of recommended photographers, but none of the styles spoke to me. While I’m not well-versed in photography, I know which styles of photos resonate and spark emotion, and which just look trendy. I was ready to settle for something and hope for the best. And then… our venue posted one single image on their story and tagged @BenIngramVistuals. That’s it — I LOVE THAT PICTURE!! I clicked on his page, scoured all of his posts, visited his website, and got my (then) fiancé to look through with me. He loved too. I reached out to Ben, which was incredibly easy to do through his awesome website, and he got back to me quickly. We had a chat on the phone to make sure we’re both cool and awesome (check, check) but most importantly that our expectations matched. I really appreciated this step. We were unable to schedule our engagement session (that’s on us) so I am looking forward to using that in the future, but I think this emphasizes Ben’s professionalism even more. Even though we had never met prior to our wedding day, Ben made everyone feel incredibly relaxed, kept us on schedule, and gave clear and direct instructions on posing to ensure photos turned out great. AND THEY DID! We got previews the day after our wedding (insanely fast) and got our full album 7 weeks later. They’re beautiful. We love them. We relived all the emotions of the day. We cherished the photos of the little moments we thought were missed. We laughed at photos of the partying. There was not a single photo that we saw and said “meh, that one is okay”. It is impossible to pick a favorite cause they’re all amazing. Booking Ben was the most amazing decision and we are so, so glad we did. 100/10 recommend. As a bonus, we were lucky enough to have Shannon as a second shooter and all of these words apply to her as well. Shannon has a calming energy, which on a day full of nerves was incredibly appreciated. Her and Ben as a team were a perfect complement. They worked together to capture the entire day from all perspectives. We loved having her as a part of the deal. :) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

We are SO happy we found Ben. Looking through his work, we immediately noticed his unique style, but also his ability to adapt to a variety of settings and lighting. He photographed our intimate redwoods wedding and met us beforehand for photos in the woods just with my husband and I. We don't love being in front of a camera, but Ben made us feel totally at ease. The photos from both locations turned out gorgeous. He made sure to capture special moments that occurred during the ceremony, like my parents laughing during a funny moment. Every family member and friend has commented on how the joy of the day comes through the photos. We will recommend him over and over again!

The TLDR: If we hosted our wedding 100 more times, we'd hire Ben to photograph it every time. He's uncommonly talented behind the camera, a blast to work with, and completely trustworthy as a professional. See below for the highlights followed by a vulnerable (but real) reflection on why it's so important to hire an amazing photographer like Ben. -Ben’s photos look timeless without being trendy or looking like typical wedding photos. No joke, I’m considering reaching out to Sunset Magazine to see if they’d feature our wedding. -My husband and I don’t feel super comfy in front of the camera. Ben was game to get to know us personally before the wedding to help make us feel more relaxed about being photographed constantly for 9 hours straight. (We also had the pleasure of discovering that Ben is a rad person outside of work, too!) -Our wedding day had 4 shooting locations and a secret surprise ceremony (which he helped us pull off). Ben kept everything on time AND got all the photos we wanted. He’s really great at directing people—commanding but all done with a smile and sense of humor. -Once we got to the reception, I barely even noticed he was there. I don’t even know how he got all the shots he did because he was so unobtrusive. Cannot state enough how important that will be on your big day! On a personal note, once the wedding was over I felt a profound sadness I didn’t know was coming. Months of hard work and planning was suddenly over in what felt like an instant. On top of that, my perfectionist brain was on a constant loop, analyzing how I could have planned the day better or wondering if my friends and family actually had fun. (Aren’t brains awesome?!) But then, Ben sent over the full gallery and I could see photographic evidence of the truth: our faces and the faces of all our loved ones beaming back at us, every last person absolutely lit up with smiles, love, and laughter. Weddings are an emotional experience with so many ups and downs. But, the day WAS perfect. Photos don’t lie. And I couldn’t be happier that we found Ben to reflect that fact back to us, now, and for many years to come. Thank you Ben, and we'll see you at the 10 year anniversary!

Ben is wonderful!! He made wedding photography a breeze for us awkward people. His easy-going personality and reassurance that he would tell us what to do with our hands in pictures were just two of the many reasons we decided to hire him for our wedding. My husband and I were married at the Hollins House and Ben knew exactly where to pose us for the best pictures. The day after the wedding we received SO MANY sneak peeks. He is a professional through and through. We highly recommend hiring Ben!

Ben was absolutely incredible! If you’re on the fence about choosing him as your wedding photographer, do it!! He was super knowledgeable not just about photography, but weddings in general. My husband and I got married at Seascape and he knew all the best spots for photos. We had never taken professional photos before and Ben knew how to give us just enough direction so we didn’t feel lost, but the pictures still looked natural. And they came out looking amazing! He even sent us a bunch of finished photos the next morning. We can’t say enough good things about Ben and his work. Hire him! You won’t regret it.

When our wedding was cancelled and we decided with just 1 week notice to elope, I had to scramble to find a photographer in December 2020. Ben volunteers at the Animal Shelter where I work, so I already knew I loved his work and of course love that he gives his time to help the shelter animals. We got so lucky he was available and he made our small wedding feel so big! He was so fun and made us feel comfortable during our photos. The coolest thing was that he brought out his drone and captured an amazing shot of us which we no have printed on glass hanging in our home. Our friends and family who couldn’t be there felt they were there through our photos which meant the world to us. We cannot recommend Ben enough for your wedding photography!!

Besides choosing to marry each other, hiring Ben was by far the best decision we made of our entire wedding! We searched near and far for a photographer and came across Ben’s instagram and were instantly blown away. Whether he is shooting in a vineyard, redwoods, beach or backyard, all the photos seem to come out sprinkled with magic. Ben has a deep understanding of light, composition and angles and uses a drone as an added bonus for some truly magazine worthy shots! His rates are very reasonable for the high caliber photography he does and includes an engagement shoot which we learned was super important. We have had so many of our friends ask about him because his work speaks for itself. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early and scoped out the venue to find some hidden gems. He knew exactly when to take photos where so the lightening would be perfect. He worked so well with all the other vendors, especially the videographer, and made us feel relaxed the entire day. Wedding planning is so stressful but once we found Ben, we knew we were in great hands and it was an easy decision. Ben was very flexible, kind and an absolute dream to work with. We look forward to doing more shoots with Ben for future joyous occasions!!

Ben- His IG says it all- he is 🔥🔥🔥. He is a true artist- his vision, his execution, his drone, his PASSION for what he does, all combines to make one hell-of-a-photographer. He completely blew it out of the water for us for our wedding(s)- we got married in a church during the week in San Francisco and had another ceremony and reception on the weekend in Santa Cruz. Booking a photographer was the most important vendor for me after booking the venue. I spent hours combing through IG and all roads ended to Ben- because he’s that good. Even my husband could tell the quality of his photos was way above others we had reached out. What sealed the deal for us was his personality. We had our first phone consultation and he was so friendly, personable and funny! That immediately put my husband at ease (he does NOT like taking photos) and that made the whole process so much smoother as he was able to keep things light-hearted all the way through. He was a joy to work with and we cannot say enough great things about him (i.e. just look at our portfolio) I told him he can’t move out of the Bay Area because he is now our photographer for LIFE! Babies, family portraits you name it!! Go with Ben- you will be so glad you did 💯💯💯

Ben is an artist. His paintbrush is his camera and his canvas are people. His talent is capturing the emotion of the picture. Our wedding was in 2019 but we recently reached out to him to do another shoot and the photos were beautiful! On top of everything, he's super friendly and easy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend working with Ben to capture your big day.

Like many couples, we booked Ben in 2019, had to reschedule in 2020 and finally had our dream wedding in September 2021. Ben's breathtaking photos were worth the wait! He perfectly captured our day with unique shots and special moments. We're so grateful! Thank you Ben!

Ben Ingram’s incredible work speaks for itself - he is an incredibly talented photographer. My husband and I were initially drawn to him because of the way he captures such unique and stunning photos from so many different angles. We were even more impressed by the way he made us feel so relaxed and comfortable, like he was someone we’d been friends with for years! From our engagement shoot where he was incredibly patient and sweet with our 4 month old puppy that we insisted on having in some of the pictures, to our wedding day where we were all spread out getting ready, and again insisted on having our dog there, Ben never missed a beat. He made sure to understand what and who we wanted to make sure we captured photos of, and was there to photograph every moment, whether it was getting ready, our first look, moments throughout the ceremonies, reception and everything in between. Despite the many moving pieces and tight timeline, Ben always had a smile on his face and was ready for anything we threw at him. His ability to shuffle around photo opportunities to adapt to unexpected changes in our timeline was so helpful and let us focus on being in the moment and not thinking about what happened with our planned photos sets. When the clouds broke right before sunset, he grabbed us and a golf cart and took us to a secluded area to capture some of the most epic photos with a beautiful sunset and huge cliffs overlooking the ocean as the backdrop. As if that wasn’t enough, he also managed to make my former amateur dj husband’s dream come true by coordinating with our awesome DJ to let us jump up on the booth for a few songs - which made for even more epic photos from the night! We got all of the photos we could have ever wanted (and more). Ben was one of the highlights of our wedding and we will forever remember our wedding day through his amazing work.

Ben is an absolute gem of a human and an incredible photographer. A guest mentioned- your photographer is like a 7 piece band, he does it all! He has this ability to take all these intimate detailed shots while being in 10 different places at the same time, but yet you don’t see him anywhere while he’s doing his thing. It’s magic Hire him, you’ll be so glad you did 🙌🏼

Ben was the absolute best photographer we could have imagined having at our wedding! Not only was he extremely flexible and compassionate as we dealt with multiple COVID related wedding reschedules over the past 18 months, but he showed up on our wedding day and did an amazing job. So many of our friends and family commented on how friendly Ben was throughout the event, which was no surprise to us as we already knew he was great! At this point, we have had a sneak peak of several of the photos from our wedding and his eye for the perfect shots is impeccable. We really look forward to seeing all of the photos from our wedding day as we know they are going to be incredible! I would recommend Ben for any event that needs a photographer!

Ben is awesome!! Not only does he take gorgeous photos, but his prices are reasonable and he’s a pleasure to work with. He’s professional and approachable. My husband and I had a great time getting to know Ben during our engagement shoot. On the wedding day, he did a great job of directing and facilitating both respectfully and assertively. As a teacher and someone who does not give up control easily, I had no problem handing the reigns over to Ben for the day. He also worked really well with our videographers AND had our pictures edited and sent to our inboxes in a timely manner. We can’t wait to find another excuse or occasion to hire him again!

My fiancé and I recently did an engagement shoot with Ben. We have been admirers of his for a year and after doing a ton of research searching for a photographer, Ben was a clear choice. From the very beginning, he has been super accommodating and easy to work with. For our photoshoot, we started in the gorgeous redwoods and ended the shoot at the beach. Ben made us feel so comfortable and we had the best time. We got our photos soon afterwards and we were obsessed with how they came out!! We cannot wait to shoot with Ben for our wedding in September. I highly recommend Ben. He is incredibly talented and also a wonderful person. His rates are very reasonable too and there are no hidden charges which was a big plus for us!

The easiest part of planning a wedding during COVID was Ben. He was so easy to work with, punctual and understanding that it made out dream come true. Ben Ingram was an outstanding wedding photographer. He has a great personality and was very friendly and understanding to all of our needs throughout the entire event. He was also very diligent and creative and got some amazing shots from above using his drone. Ben was prepared for everything (including making sure my wife and I had our post-ceremony champagne) and there is no doubt we will be using him for future services. I would highly recommend Ben to anyone considering his services.

We were so lucky that our venue recommended Ben, one of their resident photographers, for our wedding. It was so easy to connect with him right off the bat. We had fun with our engagement shoot (included in the package, we weren’t planning on doing one originally but so glad we did). He listened to all our ideas/questions, met us the week of the wedding for drinks to go over the day of plan, and calmed our nerves when the weather forecast wasn’t looking great (we got lucky with great weather in the end). The pictures turned out truly stunning, and he delivered a great album that he worked with us to layout. We highly recommend Ben for engagement and wedding shoots!

Ben is so amazing! I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience. Ben fit right into our little ceremony making us feel super comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. He captured gorgeous little moments of us being candid and none of our photos seem awkward or forced. We've only received the 'teaser' photos so far, but we're so excited to get the rest!
