Ben studied guitar and sound recording in college, graduating from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor of Music in 2010. Ben is AWESOME!! I reached out to him through TheKnot and when we talked on the phone we knew he'd be a great fit, as we were looking for someone to sing, play, and DJ at our wedding - and he does it all! His repertoire was huge and he even learned some of our favorite songs on the guitar per our request. We were so impressed and pleased by the amazing job he did at our wedding. Every guest made it a point to tell us how much they enjoyed Ben's singing, guitar playing, DJing, and kind personality :) I'm still getting messages about him!! My favorite part was getting to listen to him singing and playing the guitar while we took pictures near the woods before and after the ceremony - it was so dreamlike and perfect. I can't recommend him enough for how much effort and care he put into our special day! If he's available on the day of your event, don't think twice - he'll help to make your special day truly spectacular!

Ben was so great to work with throughout the entire wedding process - he is responsive, thoughtful, kind, and added a fantastic acoustic ambiance to our rehearsal dinner and welcome party. The song selection list mixed with his inherent talent made for an unforgettable evening. All of our guests had a blast and didn’t want Ben’s performance to end. We are so grateful that Ben was a part of our wedding weekend!

Ben is an incredibly talented musician! Ben played at my July bridal shower and all of the guests raved about how beautiful the acoustic music, it added such a special touch to the day. Ben was extremely thorough and responsive in the days/weeks leading up to the event. I would love to host another event and have Ben play! Thank you again Ben!

Ben was so great to work with! He was responsive, thorough, and very helpful during the planning process. Ben did it all for the day of our wedding: he played acoustically for our ceremony, switched to acoustic with vocals for cocktail hour, then transformed to a DJ for the reception. He supplied us with the microphone for the ceremony, all the equipment to set up at multiple locations, and the dance floor lighting. Ben was timely to arrive and set up and spent all night with us, making all of our announcements and reading the crowd perfectly to keep the party going! The dance floor wasn't empty once during the whole night - Ben knew how to keep everyone dancing!

I've been a fan of Ben's for years. He's such a versatile musician who is an excellent performer as a solo, duo or band act. His voice and style lends himself to many genres, and he's always adding songs to his repertoire. Whether he's playing an acoustic set during dinner, dancing music during a party, or DJing, he pays attention to the people want, and delivers a killer performance. Not only is he talented, but he's very personable, pays attention to detail, and is flexible. He's a reliable professional who takes care of the music so the only thing you have to focus on is having a good time!

Ben Lyons is the real deal, a true professional musician. There is no music that he cannot play or sing. Have you got a song that is your favorite but just a bit obscure? He can play it. Beautifully. Ben is a very versatile musician who can cover the background music at your rehearsal dinner or have your family and loved ones up and dancing at your wedding. If you really want to see what this pro can do, then ask him to sing some of his original music. A consummate professional!

Ben is Mr. Versatility - I've seen him do acoustic sets, full band sets, and DJ. Everytime he's played the environment was very upbeat, and people were having fun all night long. He puts a lot of time into making sure your event is fun for everyone there. We had a few off the wall requests and Ben was very responsive to us and happy to help. He learned a couple songs for us! Ben was highly recommended to us from a friend and he did NOT disappoint. He performed 3 songs of our choice during our ceremony, dj’d our cocktail hour, and performed with his band in the evening. You do not want to miss out at having this caring and kind musician at your wedding. He was determined to make sure that the event was successful (performed in our desired areas, speakers in the right place, etc…) and communication was always timely. Now to the music - I am a music teacher and professional violinist myself. This guy is a top notch player with an amazing voice. He plays it all - the band even played an old Taking Back Sunday song for us that we requested to be played that night. Our guests raved about the music and still do to this day! He made sure that the music was never a worry on our big day. You got to book this guy!
