Prior to the wedding, we told Ben we wanted a time lapse of the venue breaking down from ceremony to set up for the reception and he did it and put it together so beautifully. While watching our wedding video, you can't help but ask yourself "how was he in so many places at once?!" from outside venue and drone footage, to footage of the florist (Look NO FURTHER than: On Thai from Surroundings), to our cocktail hour, welcome entrance, first dance, speeches, etc!! Ben has an attention to detail and puts wedding videos together like he is compiling more of Hollywood film than your run of the mill, standard (possibly boring) wedding video. He put ours together like it was a complete production. I could go on and on about how amazing Ben is and how incredible his work is, but I'll let our video speak (go to Ben's instagram/Facebook and look for Julia + Mike 12.31.21 New Years Eve). If you get quotes from videographers and think you'd rather go with someone on the lower end, just know that you will be getting lower end quality and less attention to detail. Ben is a quality videographer who is worth every penny and our investment in him paid off tenfold. My advice is to make the investment in Ben and understand that a wedding video is timeless. Our photos are unreal (shout out to Matt Ramos) but watching the footage from our wedding that was taken in real-time by Ben is something we now have to show our families, future children, and generations to come. Each of our guests who have had the opportunity to watch the video feels like they are transported back to New Years Eve 2021 and can relive the night over and over again. When he met with us, he explained his packages, the different equipment (we really wanted drone footage as our venue looked out onto the Hudson River) and all he could do for us. The videography equipment was not noticeable and I did not feel like we had a camera on us at all times. It felt like Ben was apart of the party in a professional way and really encouraged us to have fun and act ourselves. met Ben, he was so nice and very easy to work with. We live in NYC so a lot of planning and communication took place over the phone or email. Ben was always so nice in his responses and very helpful. On the wedding day, he was so laid back. We forgot he was there most of the time! The quality of the videos are breath taking! We met with other videographers and that quality just wasn’t there. Our wedding highlight video is absolutely amazing! My husband and I are Hispanic and we wanted the music to have a Latin touch but we couldn’t think of many suggestions for Ben. This was not a difficult task for him! The songs he chose were soooooo good! They have great rhythm, they are romantic and most importantly they are songs we can see ourselves enjoying forever! start Ben was very responsive and helpful. The day of our wedding, we barely even noticed he was there but after seeing the video, he was everywhere! The videos he puts together are unbelievable and unlike any other highlight reels you will see from other videographers. But then I found Ben’s website, and even though he only had a small handful of videos online at the time, they were so much better than anything else that I had seen that I figured I would give him a shot, and I’m so, so glad I did. The video Ben edited for us was PERFECT. It was visually stunning—as they all are (just look at his website and you will see what I mean). But honestly, the artistic quality of his videos aren’t the most impressive part about his work. Anyone can film vows and different wedding events and put them together in a video. But not every wedding video truly captures the spirit of a wedding day. But the video Ben did for us does, and it takes us back to the joy and love we felt that day every time we watch it. He has impeccable attention to detail (even remembers the important people (like grandparents) and makes sure to include shots of them), and that’s coming from someone who is pretty type A. He’s also great to work with. He was willing to be a bit flexible on the package for us to accommodate what we were looking for. He responds to emails in a reasonable amount of time and delivered our video edit in the time he said he would. And on the day of the wedding, I honestly rarely noticed he was there, even though he clearly got a bunch of footage of us! Honestly, I can’t recommend Ben enough. You can tell how beautiful his work is from his online samples, but you don’t realize how special his work is until it’s of your own family and friends. (honestly, after seeing how special our video is, I would have paid twice as much for it!) I almost didn’t hire a videographer because I couldn’t find one I liked in my price range, but I couldn’t be happier than I did. If you are looking for a true artist (and at a reasonable price, to boot!), hire Ben. You won’t be disappointed.
