Bens‘ work is amazing. My husband and I had to change our wedding day plans due to covid, and Ben was more than willing to work with us through the changes. He made sure we still were able to have what was now our elopement, captured beautifully on video. We’re in love with the outcome, and can’t wait to have him film our big wedding next year!

Ben Pliss is truly a rockstar. My fiancé and I were having a very hard time finding a videographer in the area. Either they were booked or unprofessional or absurdly over priced, we almost gave up until we found Ben. From our initial emails, he was so nice and accommodating. When he met with us, he explained his packages, the different equipment (we really wanted drone footage as our venue looked out onto the Hudson River) and all he could do for us. Well he more than delivered. Ben captured moments of our big day I didn’t even remember. He and his assistant Carrie were so sweet, made us instantly comfortable and worked so hard to capture every moment of our special day. I also love that, along with an amazing final product and a fun teaser he released on Facebook (with our permission), he gave us all the raw footage of our day which has been so much fun to watch! We are so happy to have had Ben on our all star team of vendors!

Ben is AMAZING. Hands down Ben is the best and most talked about videographer in the capital region. His name is everywhere when speaking with other brides. He was so fun and easy to work with. He was respectful, attentive, punctual and sweet. The videography equipment was not noticeable and I did not feel like we had a camera on us at all times. If you need a videographer, you need to work with Ben Pliss now! Out of every wedding videographer in the capital district, his videos are the only ones that really make you feel like you are a star of your own show! When my husband and I first met Ben, he was so nice and very easy to work with. We live in NYC so a lot of planning and communication took place over the phone or email. Ben was always so nice in his responses and very helpful. On the wedding day, he was so laid back. We forgot he was there most of the time! The quality of the videos are breath taking! We met with other videographers and that quality just wasn’t there. Our wedding highlight video is absolutely amazing! My husband and I are Hispanic and we wanted the music to have a Latin touch but we couldn’t think of many suggestions for Ben. This was not a difficult task for him! The songs he chose were soooooo good! They have great rhythm, they are romantic and most importantly they are songs we can see ourselves enjoying forever! Thank you soo much Ben!

If you are thinking you don't need a videographer for your wedding, you are wrong, and go hire Ben! We didn't think we would want video but I am so so happy we changed our mind and found Ben. It was probably the best decision we made. From the start Ben was very responsive and helpful. The day of our wedding, we barely even noticed he was there but after seeing the video, he was everywhere! The videos he puts together are unbelievable and unlike any other highlight reels you will see from other videographers. He caught so many amazing moments on our day from getting ready, the first look and ceremony and great shots of our guests on the dance floor. We received so many compliments not only on the footage but the great the music he chose for the video as well, the parings are fantastic. We hired Ben to shoot our September wedding. Everyone had told me that I should definitely get a wedding video, but I didn’t want to blow my budget and everything I saw in my price range was low-quality video with really cheesy visual effects—totally not my style. But then I found Ben’s website, and even though he only had a small handful of videos online at the time, they were so much better than anything else that I had seen that I figured I would give him a shot, and I’m so, so glad I did. The video Ben edited for us was PERFECT. It was visually stunning—as they all are (just look at his website and you will see what I mean). But honestly, the artistic quality of his videos aren’t the most impressive part about his work. Anyone can film vows and different wedding events and put them together in a video. But not every wedding video truly captures the spirit of a wedding day. But the video Ben did for us does, and it takes us back to the joy and love we felt that day every time we watch it. He has impeccable attention to detail (even remembers the important people (like grandparents) and makes sure to include shots of them), and that’s coming from someone who is pretty type A. He’s also great to work with. He was willing to be a bit flexible on the package for us to accommodate what we were looking for. He responds to emails in a reasonable amount of time and delivered our video edit in the time he said he would. And on the day of the wedding, I honestly rarely noticed he was there, even though he clearly got a bunch of footage of us! Honestly, I can’t recommend Ben enough. You can tell how beautiful his work is from his online samples, but you don’t realize how special his work is until it’s of your own family and friends. (honestly, after seeing how special our video is, I would have paid twice as much for it!) I almost didn’t hire a videographer because I couldn’t find one I liked in my price range, but I couldn’t be happier than I did. If you are looking for a true artist (and at a reasonable price, to boot!), hire Ben. You won’t be disappointed.

Ben was amazing to work with. He's a trail blazer in the Albany area. We had a few special requests, including a pre-wedding video short which we used during the ceremony. That created quite a stir and great feedback from the majority of guests. It stood apart from other weddings, and other wedding videos. He was always on time, responded quickly to questions and had a sense of humor while doing so which kept it light and fun. Plus he looked good doing it. He is one of those youthful, talented creatives on his way to huge successes... grab him now before he runs for a big city!

My husband and I went back and forth on hiring a videographer. Ultimately, much to our disappointment, it just didn't fit into our budget. My dad offered then offered to hire someone as a gift to us, so we jumped at the opportunity to reserve Ben. It was, and will remain, the best "gift" we were given. He was professional yet fun, directive yet easy going, and VERY fast on the turn around. I am so grateful for Ben (and Mike!!) and this gift that we will treasure forever.

When planning our wedding, we were not set on hiring a videographer until our best man declared that his speech was going to be “epic”. Ben Pliss came highly recommended by a co-worker of mine who has previously worked with him. I have to say, his work exceeded my expectations. On the wedding day, he and his assistant did a great job capturing every detail we had hoped they could get. We felt like they were part of the party! Turn-around-time on the final video was very reasonable, especially considering it is the holiday season. And the finished product….I felt like I was re-living all of my favorite parts of our wedding day! I am so glad we opted to have the day captured through video, and I am so glad we went with Ben Pliss. We would recommend him without any reservation whatsoever.
