I had the best experience with Ben! We booked him last minute and I couldn’t have picked the most perfect person to film our wedding. He was sooo kind, approachable, easy- going, a...
nd creative!
He went with the flow so easily and caught all the important moments.
He even went above and beyond to catch pictures of the whole night on his film/ Polaroid and gave them to us at the end of the night.
Those little Polaroids he gave me at the end of the night of small moments of the wedding night truly made me cry and it was just such a sweet touch that I wasn’t expecting.
I didn’t want him to leave and told him to just party with us all night! Lol
Super cool guy. Book him. You won’t regret it.
My fiancé and I won an engagement session with Ben. There was no obligation to book with him nor to write a review so I’m voluntarily sharing this information in an effort to help ...
other couples who are wading through the planning process. Ben was professional in his communication both through email and text. He consistently responded to us quickly and was great about checking the weather and rescheduling with us when some unforeseen rain headed our way. Ben offered to shoot anywhere in the SD area and was able to offer recommendations that were tailored to our preferences (i.e., not the beach). We ended up selecting a location that we were familiar with and as soon as we got there, Ben easily navigated to the most picturesque places, offered posing directions, and utilized supplementary lighting to ensure that the photos came out well. I’ll admit that my expectations were low when Ben said we’d have the photos back in a couple days as other photographers we talked to offered a 1-2 week turnaround time but we had our photos back within 24 hours and we are thrilled with them! We plan to use them for the wedding website as well as some details on our wedding day. I found Ben to be professional, efficient, and talented and would highly recommend that those looking for an affordable wedding photographer in the SD area consider reaching out to him for a consultation.
