I have a lot of regret in hiring Benefield Entertainment for our wedding. We were excited after we got Jeff on the phone to discuss the day and our needs since we were planning a wedding from another state. Leading up to the wedding day my coordinator had a tough time getting him to verify that everything was still going to be on as planned. Jeff confirmed that we were still scheduled for the wedding though! I found out after arriving to my reception that Jeff was a no show for our ceremony. He did not proactively contact my coordinator, and only replied to her text/calls at 3:00pm (my wedding was at 2:30pm and cocktail hour began at 4pm). I put a lot of effort into choosing the songs I wanted and making specific playlists, and we had talked with Jeff about our desires. He did find another DJ to cover last minute, but the transition was not ideal and many songs I had specifically put on the playlists I created (and paid the extra $100 for the use of the app to do this) we’re not played. At the end of the day, my wedding was perfect even with so many little things that went wrong. But I would not trust Jeff again. His lack of professionalism in doing his due diligence to contact my coordinator for the commitment he made when we hired him for our wedding could have been incredibly detrimental for our wedding. I would not recommend his services unfortunately.
