Choosing a photographer from out of state can definitely add to the wedding planning stress! As the mother of the bride, not only was I wanting gorgeous and magnificent photos, but also a professional photographer that would be available and eager to assist with answers to questions or ideas and/or suggestions throughout the planning before the “Big Day.” Dale provided both! He always made himself available when we needed him and he created the gorgeous, magnificent, and breath-taking photos of my daughter’s fairytale wedding! So happy she chose Dale to be her photographer. With his kind, caring, and loving spirit, Dale made us feel as though he was a dear family friend - capturing those “blessed” and “priceless” memories that were constantly evolving throughout the entire wedding day. Dale was the photographer for my sister's wedding in Alaska, but I met Dales years ago as he has been a close friend of my sister's for years. Throughout my sister's relationship with her now-husband, her engagement to him, and during her wedding week, Dale was always aiming to capture my sister, her husband, and our families in our most intimate and authentic moments. When I look back on our wedding pictures, I don't just see professional, high-quality photos—I also see the unique touch and authenticity of someone who cares deeply about celebrating love. I am confident that Dale brings this level of service and compassion to all of his clients, as he is one of the most sought-after wedding photographers in the entire state of Arkansas and is now traveling across the country to photograph weddings and engagements. Even though the wedding was taking place in Alaska, Dale already knew the best places to take photographs, how to time the lighting just right (which was necessary as Alaska summer sunrises and sunsets are at strange hours!), and how to think quickly while also getting the job done right. He had clearly done his research before coming, which demonstrates his years of experience and commitment to giving the best service. Dale takes a lot of initiative to ensure proper communication with other vendors and to check-in with his clients. He was very respectful of our family's American-Pakistani style wedding and customs; I greatly appreciated that he always made sure to ask me questions if he wasn't sure about any particular ritual or custom. He seemed excited to learn from us and was a great listener. In Pakistani-style, the wedding comprised of multiple events over the course of three days, and Dale brought his A-game throughout all of it (don't worry, he got to have a little bit of fun dancing with the aunties and uncles too!). One special moment that I will never forget is that after messing up and buying a Barbie for the flower girl, and later learning at the last minute that she doesn't actually like Barbies at all, Dale and his wife immediately offered to pick out a new present at the store. It was another example of Dale's initiative to always communicate and make sure nothing was getting in the way of us enjoying the wedding as much as possible. I'm certain that if you choose Dale to photograph your wedding, engagement, bridal portraits, or other events, you will be highly satisfied by his generosity.
