Wow - Benjamin Kohen, what a fantastic experience I had with him. We had the full package - wedding photography, videography, Bridal Shower, and engagement shoot. Each event was amazing, he did a wonderful photoshoot at each event and we love each and every album he created. He is my go-to photographer whenever I will need one. Thank you Benjamin to you and your team for all the hard work, it shows in each album how good you are at your craft. The wedding video was also incredible, I loved that the video wasnt too long, the music was great, and the shots were great, it felt like I was there in the crowd partying again. The highlight video was also A+ I mustve watched it 50 times

Benjamin takes amazing pictures. We just used him for our son's brit and all of the photos came out better than we could have hoped for. He was very professional, easy going and a true pleasure to work with. He was able to capture the event and guests in a perfect way. I would highly recommend Benjamin for all of your photography needs and I plan to use him again myself in the future.

In my family's collective search for a wedding photographer, we so fortuitously happened upon Benjamin Kohen Photography. He was not recommended to us by anyone nor did we personally know anyone who used his services. My family had no association with Benjamin Kohen prior to the wedding. Of course, friends offered advice and referrals of photographers they had engaged as well as tidbits of information on photographers whom they suggested we avoid. We met with several of the "highly-recommended," "highly-regarded," NYC-area photographers--some of whom we had even used in the past for a variety of important occasions. In all of the encounters, we spoke with staff members--not the photographer. Much to our delight, when it was time to glean insight into Benjamin Kohen Photography, we met with Benjamin Kohen! He spent almost 2 hours via Zoom answering our questions and addressing our concerns. Additionally, he provided various pricing/service structures that aligned with our budget. We ultimately chose Benjamin Kohen--a photographer with whom we were completely unfamiliar and whose work with which we were completely unfamiliar--for a most important milestone event. We are thrilled we made that decision! In advance of the wedding, Benjamin Kohen met with the bride and groom for an "engagement shoot." The opportunity to photograph the engaged couple did more than provide the families with beautiful photos; the time that Benjamin spent with the newly-engaged couple established a relationship between him and them. Thus, a level of comfort and familiarity was established in advance of the wedding day. Essential to this exchange, was the opportunity to acquaint Benjamin with "photo preferences" e.g., the bride likes to be photographed from a certain angle/side, the groom expressed his preferences. A working dynamic was forged, as Benjamin photographed the engaged couple on the day of the engagement shoot. Benjamin traveled to several of the couple's favorite sites--relevant to their courtship--to snap portraits and candids of the soon-to-be bride and groom. The engagement photos were lovely. Furthermore, they provided yet another opportunity for the couple to review what they like and share that information with Benjamin--who, subsequently, implemented that feedback into the wedding day/photos. As for the wedding day, Benjamin Kohen and his colleagues arrived at the wedding venue...early! He and his crew began executing on everything he had planned and scheduled with the bride and groom. There was a timeline set in advance, and he stuck to it! This certainly mitigated any stress related to photo taking. The videographers were also present to capture every facet of the wedding day preparations. Again, there was an established level of comfort between Benjamin and the bride and groom, which contributed to an ease in photographing. Benjamin's other photographers and the videographers were extremely professional and were obviously capturing shots from every vantage point. This is clearly evidenced in the photos and video. And if you are wondering about the actual wedding photos and video footage, they surpassed our expectations. The lighting and various techniques created stunning content. The photos are classy. The photos are elegant. They reflect a union of two individuals...not a photo or photographer. The photos reflect families and friends and the love that abounds. Benjamin Kohen Photography created treasures.

We highly recommend this photographer for any event. We hired him for our son’s Brit and we’re so happy with the experience. Benjamin was extremely pleasant to work with, professional and funny, he managed to have everyone smiling for the pictures even the little ones who were hard to keep still. The experience was great and he captured beautiful photos that we will treasure forever. Was a wonderful encounter and can’t wait to work with him again for our next event!

Highly recommend Benjamin and his team! I was very picky about the type of photos I wanted and the edits and Benjamin completely understood my vibe. We don’t like getting pictures taken and thought the process would be awkward but he made it smooth and enjoyable and he was super efficient. If you’re thinking about this photographer for your wedding it’s simply a no brainer. Benjamin is amazing! He tells you what to do, makes you feel comfortable and he’s very creative. The work simply speaks for itself. We used him for my wedding day and a party later that week. With both occasions the work was simply stunning. I’m literally having trouble with which photos to post on social media because they’re all stunning. I’m glad I went with Benjamin. My family and I will be using him many times in the future.

We had the most positive experience working with Benjamin Kohen as our wedding photographer. He truly held our hand throughout the process, from our initial inquiry through the final printing of our album. Benjamin captured our special day in the most beautiful manner, and our wedding photos get such great reactions from everyone we show them to.  Two things in particular stand out about our experience with Benjamin Kohen: 1. He and his staff ensured that on our wedding day, the day was truly about us, the bride and groom. He wanted to make certain that he was capturing the specific moments we wanted to remember. 2. Despite the very large size of our families, he was able to masterfully corral all of the family members (ranging from babies to great-grandparents) and capture beautiful and memorable family portraits that our families will cherish for generations. I cannot recommend Benjamin Kohen Photography highly enough.

When it came to planning my wedding, I only insisted on having input on one thing - photographer. I narrowed down my options to under ten photographers and inquired with each one about their packages. Immediately Benjamin stood out as he provided at a minimum 2 hours more coverage than the other photographers for comparable packages. After my initial conversations with him, I knew he was the right choice. He genuinely cared about his work and making sure he does the best job and creates beautiful memories for his clients. That might seem intuitive but you’d be surprised how many photographers out there do not put in the effort, don’t go above and beyond, and just care that they get paid. I was also very impressed that Benjamin told us straight up that aside from the album included in the package, he would provide the album files that I’m free to print through any service of my choice and that would be the more economical option. I’ve heard from friends who used other photographers that they made no mention of where they could print photos and then required to purchase all prints and albums through them at exorbitant rates. We went with Benjamin and could not be happier with our decision. He came extra early to do off site photos and voluntarily stayed longer than the duration stated in the contract just to ensure he captured all of our precious moments and to meet his personal high level of standards Most importantly is Benjamin’s style. I did not want a photographer just shooting posed family photos of every different combination of sibling, grandparent and uncle. He knew exactly how to make everyone feel relaxed and just be themselves while he and got amazing candid shots that truly captured the emotion of the day and told the story of our wedding day. I remember one of the first things he told us on our wedding day was “Today, I work for you and answer to you”. If there were shots we wanted both before and during the wedding, he did whatever necessary to get that shot without hesitation. Make no mistake, Benjamin works tirelessly for all of his clients and will go above and beyond to provide the best results.

After seeing Benjamin Kohen's beautiful, creative, and artistic photos on his website, we couldn't wait to have him photograph our wedding! We love the way our pictures came out!! Benjamin captured every moment!!

Hi gal, I am not typically inclined to write reviews. So far I feel blessed to cover across only the best but I was compelled to write this one because of what we experienced with Benjamin and his team. First, Benjamin immediately stood out of the crowd by offering a bridal consultation instead of just sending a price sheet. WHO DOES THAT! When my fiance (now husband) met with benjamin we were blown away by how much he helped us with info we didn't even consider when planning our wedding. Then on top of all of that, we had an amazing engagment session with him where he a huge fun to work with. His jokes, maybe a little unexpect based on what we saw when we first met him, but made all the difference and got myself and my fiance off our guard for the shoot. We came away with stunnig photos. Ok, so that big day came and Benjamin once again came through. We have a huge family and my groom has one to match. With over 60 people in both bridal and groom party in the immediate and extended family plus 14 groomsmen and bridesmaids, Benjamin and his team where able to handle it all still cracking jokes to keep us all on our feet. We really had an experience working with Benjamin Kohen and his entie team! Girls, for real, save yourself the time and hassle. Yes, maybe his pricing is slighty higher than avarage but what you get is SOO WAY ABOVE AVERAGE! Did I mention we got amazing photos and video and only in a few weeks after the wedding? Simply Unmatched!!!

Benjamin Kohen was our photographer and videographer for our wedding. He was very creative, innovative and artistic in his work and produced a very exquisite product. Our wedding album is a work of art and the way he arranged the pictures really told the story of our special day.

Benjamin and his staff photographed and videoed my daughters wedding very recently and the pictures he took are just beautiful ( plus he sent them weeks earlier than expected! Benjamin was wonderful to work with in planning and on the wedding day. He is incredibly talented and we hope to use him in the future.

Benjamin Kohen and his team were great. They are truly professional photographers. We got married at The Shadbowbrook at Shrewsbury in NJ and Benjamin took us around Red Bank and captured the venue beautifully. My husband and I cared more about the pictures of "us" and our bridal party, which were super fun pictures, and not staged. Everything from the engagement session to the day of were easy with Benjamin. We can't wait to see our wedding album. I highly recommend Benjamin if you are looking for action shots and a photo-journalist view.

I'll start by saying i'm a little biased. that's only because I've known Benjamin and been working with him for a long time. Now you may think he asked me to review this page -> think again! I found this page by accident while I was going on this website for promoting myself. Now let's go back to Benjamin, I believe in this modern era we live in it's not very hard to find a good photographer, It's the experience that counts. and in weddings, where time is a major factor, if you're not in could hand with a professional who understands time management then you might be giving up a lot. What I like about Benjamin is that he has a unique creative approach. He understand posing and lighting like know one i've met before and at the same time has the eye that captures precious moments. But most of all he gets the job done and make sure you are satisfied. I highly recommend hiring him for your next event with one promise - You won't regret. Congrats folks

Benjamin did my wedding over a year ago, and I still am amazed by the photos he captured!! Every picture gets better and better. Besides for the picture he is such a pleasure to have on your big day. I come form a large family and he managed to get great pictures with everyone he made us smile and laugh from 1pm to 1am. I highly recommend him. Benjamin is also one of the only photographer that stay on the phone with you and personally help you throughout the whole picking picture process. He really made my day last forever!!!
