Our indoor garden center is an ideal location offering lush backdrops and vibrant colors for your wedding photos year-round. With several spaces for ceremonies and receptions available on the property, and ample space for up to 300 guests - Benken is the perfect choice for an unforgettably special occasion.
Our Atrium is a gorgeous open space with abundant natural light flooding in from it's sheer rooftop. This greenhouse is ideal for more intimate wedding ceremony and receptions of up to 150 guests - complete with large plants and trees towering overhead and framing the aisle way, and a beautiful ceiling-height wood-stained accent wall to provide the perfect backdrop for your nuptials.
Couples can also plan to wed on our outdoor Patio space - comfortably seating 300. Your guests will be left in awe as the sun goes down and the sparkling patio lights set the most romantic ambiance for your big celebration.
Benken offers all-inclusive wedding venue rental packages including tables, chairs, and linens - helping to take the guess work and stress out of planning your big event. Even better - we've also got an incredibly talented team of in-house florists, ready to help bring your bridal dreams to life!

My wedding ceremony and reception was at Benken. Check out the space and these flowers!
My husband and I got married in October 2023. Benken served as our venue and florist. We chose them because their venue is affordable and has built-in decorations. I loved all the gourds! We worked with Robin and Tamica, both of whom were easy to work with and communicated well. They’re upfront about the costs, no hidden fees. We got MANY compliments on the uniqueness of the venue. Our guests enjoyed mingling among the plants during cocktail hour. The flowers, bouquet and centerpieces, were beautiful and exactly what we asked for. A few points: you have to use one of their preferred caterers and their supplier for alcohol. You have to order wine and beer by the case, which can get expensive fast. Unsurprisingly, if you rent their space as a venue, you have to use them as your florist. Also, they make it clear that they are a flower/plant business first. So whatever plants/decorations/supplies are up during store hours will be what’s up during the wedding in the shop areas. The venue areas can be set up as you like. You can bring in any decorations you want, they only have rules/restrictions about decorations that need to be hung up. They were very accommodating about letting us leave leftover alcohol and decorations until the next day in their storage space. I would highly recommend Benken as the venue for your next event! It’s such a unique place with very helpful and supportive staff.
We used Benken for our wedding venue and flowers. Robin was great to work with and very helpful! I struggled with identifying specifics for the bouquets, but they turned out gorgeous and perfect! All the staff were very kind and accommodating, and our day was perfect! I'm so excited to see the rest of our pictures, as the property is beautiful!

When we struck out in search of a wedding venue that neither of us had been to before, we knew we were in for a struggle. However, when we stumbled upon Benken in the search for house plants, we had a feeling we found a hidden gem. We also didn’t figure that our venue would be our built in florist, but that just made the experience all the more seamless. They were easy to work with, up front about cost and logistics, and in the end, provided an incredible backdrop for our big day.
Besides being a perfect setting for our celebration, the staff was incredibly accommodating for both set up the day before and clean up the following day (which ended up being a Monday since they were closed the day after our wedding). For being an active garden center, they made it incredibly easy for us to store our decor overnight the day prior to our wedding as well as allow us to work around them and their customers on the Monday to clear everything out.
The wedding planning staff was also incredibly prompt and responsive whenever we had questions or concerns along the way. When a small billing discrepancy was discovered shortly after our event, it was rectified within the hour. Robin and her team were great. If you are in search of a unique, flexible venue with invested operators, you can do no better than Benken.
We had a great experience working with Robin, Janet, and the whole team at HJ Benken’s. We were easily able to schedule a consultation, and the team was flexible to our few changes on the kind and number of floral arrangements we needed. Our desire was to have living/potted plants that our guests could take home at the end of the evening, and HJ Benken’s was eager to make our vision come to a reality. We highly recommend!
H.J. Benken Florist made the MOST beautiful bouquets for our wedding. I was clueless on what I wanted but Robin helped by asking the right questions and she brought what I liked to life. My bouquet was easily one of my favorite touches of the wedding. I still have it displayed months later. They are very affordable which was another bonus. I wouldn't bother looking any further and use H.J Benken for your wedding flower needs!
The flowers turned out absolutely stunning, and Robin and Janet were great to work with. I can't wait to see photos of the arrangements!
We had to scramble at last minute for a new florist and the staff at HJ Benken stepped in with no concerns. They were great to work with and made sure wvery detail was covered all while keeping our budget in mind. And the flowers were BEAUTIFUL! We couldn't have been happier!
