Benny's energy was so infectious the first time we chatted, I knew we needed to hire him for our wedding! Our dance floor was packed all night long thanks to him! Benny was extremely generous with his time and had multiple calls with my husband and I before the wedding to ensure he knew what songs we absolutely wanted played, and when. We had a unique venue for our reception, but he absolutely crushed it with the acoustics, and the up-lighting made it even more special. We can't thank you enough, Benny, for making our night so perfect! 100/10 recommend!

Where do I even begin to start, how bout Dj Benny Goodman was THE man for the job at my wedding. For that to even mean anything you would have to know that - what I asked of his services was far above what any average dj could accomplish. Benny is no average dj. At the get go, our intro call I felt at ease and comfortable with Benny and his confidence in how the entire wedding process unfolds. News to me, weddings are a whole a$$ production, my new wife and I watched it go by in a blur as we acted in what felt like a movie to us. I may have been nervous, but none of it came from “I hope the sound is clear, what if the mic shuts off, the music better be good”. I was so none aware of the entire aspect of sound because it was pristine the whole way through. Vows, speeches, and toast, anything that was important was heard clear. Ok, now the truly amazing part. Wedding plans and logistics changed, whether it was decided by the bride to-be in a fit of ocd.. or just fine details that can only be made right on the spot. Benny was locked in, effortlessly. Do you understand how grounding that feels when you’re the one under the gun and spot light? This guy lead in triumph. The music. From start to finish everyone loved the music. That would be a normal ask of a dj IF It were normal music. Me and my wife love edm (electronic music) {multiple sub genres} as do our friend groups. Not only did Benny keep the toes tapping and vibes flowing with the (classics, rock and roll, light rock, surf rock, alternative rock) through our cocktail hour and dinner, he had mixed my obscure/non-mainstream club bangers for my wife and I to get lost on the dancefloor together with. My older family loved the cocktail/dinner music. My younger friends and new siblings danced like no one was watching to the computer noises. Everyone had a blast. And when the older crowd rehydrated and was waiting for an oldies dance hit that everyone knows, Benny was waiting there to upper cut them with tracks that got everyone on the floor. He took request, he bounced from genre to genre, the guy crushed. I have a huge family, I’ve been to 5+ weddings, me being so music oriented, the dj was important to me… AND one of the only things my wife let me be in charge of lolol. It was huge to me and having everything perfect was a must, and it was. Such a blast and I wish the night never ended. Huge thanks to Benny for a seamless execution.

Benny does not just DJ weddings... he creates a vibe and experience everyone will remember through meticulously planning and executing on wedding day. From the initial planning calls to the day of execution, Benny was always accessible and willing to make changes to create the intended vibe for each part of our wedding. Benny always honored our final decisions while also making expert suggestions. Specifically, although we initially had different plans for our cocktail hour music, Benny suggested a classic rock cocktail hour playlist that is incredible. My wife and I still listen to it to this day! Moreover, Benny created an incredible Bridgerton acoustic playlist that set the exact vibe we wanted for dinner, followed by a seamless transition into a rocking 2 hours of amazing dance and nostalgic songs. Despite experiencing an unexpected thunderstorm and showers that forced Benny to relocate all of his equipment in a matter of minutes, Benny's calm and swift actions allowed for our wedding to go on seamlessly. Since our wedding day, I have had a friend cancel his scheduled DJ for his wedding, and instead decide to go with Benny because he and his fiance enjoyed him so much at our wedding. I am forever grateful to Benny for creating such a memorable experience for my family, friends, my wife and I. DJ Benny Goodman is truly the best in the business!

My wife and I hired Benny well over a year in advance after a significant amount of searching. We wanted something a little ‘different’ from most weddings. We requested that Benny not play a long list of the wedding ‘classics’. For most DJs, this request would have frustrated or challenged them - forcing them outside their comfort zone. In classic Benny fashion, he said “rock on, let’s do this!” We knew music would be the most important part of our night and Benny delivered, and then some. Benny is a consummate professional. The event he did here with us (at Northeastern University) is our annual 50th anniversary dinner - this year the class of 1973. He played hits of that era, and also treated the audience to some piano playing as well. I'd recommend Benny for any event of any size for any demographic.

When it came to looking for DJs for our wedding we were totally in the dark. My husband and I must have called 20 vendors before we ended up speaking with Benny. By the time we hung up the phone we knew Benny was going to be our DJ. Our wedding was so beautiful and it went off flawlessly, much in part to Benny's incredible attention to detail! We had our wedding at a friend's farm and despite it not being a regular wedding venue, Benny figured out all of the logistics and handled it like a total pro! Stop your search because Benny NEEDS to be your DJ. Looking for a DJ was a little overwhelming... a photographer can show you their portfolio but you are really trusting that a DJ can do what they say they can. We had a cocktail style reception, meaning no seated dinner and mostly dancing. That really put the pressure on Benny and boy did he deliver. Benny really made an effort to get to know us as a couple and learn about our taste in music. He felt the vibe of our guests and really played to the crowd, which meant the dance floor was always packed. Every DJ plays that one song that makes people leave the dance floor to grab a drink and hit the bathroom... not Benny. Non-stop killer music the entire time. I'm so grateful we found Benny and Alicia, I honestly can say our wedding would've suffered without them! 5 stars aren't enough.

Finding a DJ for our wedding was definitely not an easy task. There are so many companies out there that it was almost overwhelming. When my husband and I saw Benny's video we knew already we were watching the right guy. Benny Goodman Entertainment did my best friend’s wedding and she was the ultimate “bridezilla,” so expectations were high when we decided to hire him! Well, he and his professional, experienced, and talented team exceeded those and impressed some pretty tough customers! Benny took my calls leading up to the wedding and probably should have charged me for the amount of time he spent on the phone. My partner and I got married on Sunday, October 27th, 2019 and we chose Benny for our DJ and we were so happy we did. Benny played beautifully on the piano, Alicia sang gorgeous vocals, and Benny recruited a badass guitarist to play a solo while they prepped, trained, and practiced with me for my singing part. The soul and heart behind Benny and his team are incomparable. Thanks so much Benny, Alicia, and his entire team of professionals dedicated to making this the BEST night of our lives! Amazing DJ !!! Highly recommend Benny and Alicia I don’t even know where to begin!!!! I actually met Benny a few years ago at my sisters wedding (he was her DJ as well) which was an amazing time- danced the night away! So when it was my turn-I didn’t even think twice- Benny was who I wanted! Alicia and Benny were amazing!! They kept the party going all night long and had everyone dancing! He goes the extra mile by not only making sure there’s great music but also helped us keep everything on schedule which was such a big help since our “wedding assistant” from the hotel was useless! He helped us decide on music and was always available to answer questions we had. Benny even took some extra videos to capture the end of the night when our videographer and photographers had left. Seeing these videos brought tears to my eyes all over again! My father even said he wished he had another wedding or event just to have them come to because it was such a great time 🙂. He was always accessible during the planning stages whenever we had questions, special requests or concerns, and he tailored our event perfectly to meet our specific needs.
