ng. Whether you’re planning to get married outdoors with the mountains behind you or prefer to celebrate indoors, this venue gives you the best of both worlds. The indoor space is spacious and cozy, and the outdoor area is open, peaceful, and naturally stunning. One of our biggest worries was the summer heat, but up at the lodge, the temperature was about ten degrees cooler than in the city. There was a light mountain breeze, no mosquitos, and the whole setting felt calm and comfortable even in July. Our ceremony outside was everything we hoped for. What really made our experience unforgettable, though, were the owners, Ginger and David. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our wedding weekend smooth and special. From the time we toured the lodge to the day we packed up, they went out of their way to answer questions, offer guidance, and make sure everything was just right. You can tell they care deeply about the couples who choose their venue. They’ve created something really special, and their warmth shines through in every detail. We also loved that our families could stay with us. The lodge has nine guest rooms, including a honeymoon suite, so we had 27 of our closest loved ones stay on site. There were three rooms with double queen beds and the rest with king beds, all of them clean and comfortable. It felt like a retreat rather than just an event. Having our families around us all weekend made everything feel more meaningful, and it gave us time to slow down and connect before and after the big day. Even our vendors had great things to say. Our photographers loved the gardens and mountain views, and the caterers appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and how easy it was to access the reception space. We also had plenty of fridge and freezer space for our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch. We’re so grateful to Ginger and David for making our wedding weekend such a joyful and memorable experience. If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful venue run by two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, we can’t recommend Bent Mountain Lodge highly enough.

The lodge itself is stunning and we couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place to say “I do” than among the Blue Ridge Mountains! We booked the whole Lodge for two days for our wedding event and used our own caterers. All our out-of-town guests enjoyed a relaxing and serene environment, and the well appointed spacious rooms and facilities of the Lodge. Lots of inside and outside space for our wedding event and the reception.
