We got married on 6/29/19 and I am so glad we went with Benton Photography for our wedding! Jonathan paid such close attention to details. He went the extra mile to take us off site to get beautiful photos with the mountainous background that I had wanted. We even got a sneak peek of the photos the next day! Thank you so much Jonathan!! Jonathan and Nicole are fantastic! My husband and I were planning our wedding in Jefferson, NH (Bellevue Barn) from across the country where we live in California and they made it super easy to communicate. We booked them before meeting because we loved the photography style and when we were heading to NH for a week of wedding planning tasks, Jonathan was happy to meet up with us for breakfast. To our delight, he was incredibly personable, we got along great and he made us feel very comfortable around him which is so so important for great photos. Jonathan shot our rehearsal dinner where all of our guests were already commenting on how great he was, then went above and beyond grabbing some extra shots at the after party at the Copper Pig Brewery. For our wedding day, Jonathan and Nicole spent the whole day with us, capturing both the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready and every step along the way through the last song of the night. Jonathan even built a fire outside the venue so we could get a few shots I really wanted; what a guy! So many of our guests commented on how incredible they were, getting in impressive positions to capture unique angles. The pictures came out perfect! They truly captured the emotions and story of our day through photos and we couldn't be more grateful. Jonathan even sent a custom wooden USB with a photo of us printed on it that's absolutely adorable. They exceeded our expectations every step of the way and we highly recommend working with Benton Photography!

My husband and I just got married on 8.24.19 and we were SO lucky to have Jonathan as our photographer!! We just received our sneak peek (in only 4 days!!) and every single picture is amazing! He went above and beyond our expectations. He was so fun to work with and he will do anything he can to get the greatest shot! From climbing on branches in trees, standing on chairs, to laying in the wet grass, he did it all to get perfect photos. He made it so easy for us and the bridal party to pose for the camera. I was worried I would be distracted throughout the ceremony and reception with two photographers around but they were so discrete and didn’t cause any distraction. I am SO excited to see all of our photos because the teasers we got were more than amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Jonathan and his team. If I had to redo this day 100 times, he would be my first choice every single time!

Hands down, one of the most talented wedding photographers I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. Jonathan was personable and accommodating from the start. He is creative and does just about anything to get the shot you want/that he envisions. I’m so lucky that we crossed paths and he was able to capture our special day! Working with Jonathan was such a pleasure. We first met up with him one weekday afternoon for dinner and drinks, we loved the relaxed atmosphere and his laid back personality. He is both very professional and fun to work with. Through the wedding planning process he was easy to communicate with. We were worried about rain on our wedding day so I had called Jonathan a couple days before and asked if we would be able to change up our schedule to accommodate first look photos in the event that our ceremony and cocktail hour was going to be rainy, he was very flexible and reassured me that we would do whatever to get some great shots if need be – This really gave me some peace of mind. On the day of the wedding he showed up early with his assistant and stayed late capturing so many beautiful memories from our wedding. We would definitely say that he went above and beyond. We did not see him sitting down once, constantly on the go, capturing so many moments. He definitely had his hands full with our wedding party but he stayed very patient and determined to give us the high quality photos we wanted, which we greatly appreciate. So far we have only seen the teaser photos but they are BEAUTIFUL and we cannot wait to see the rest!! We would highly recommend Jon to any of our family or friends looking for a photographer.

Groom here – and I admittedly am no expert on photography. But, let me say, Jonathan and Nicole are AMAZING! My wife (!!!) and I took advantage of their services a few weeks ago for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. Several reasons. First, high quality. Jonathan and Nicole are energetic, creative, and, above all else, incredibly talented photographers. I think a bunch of reviews have already mentioned this fact, so I won’t retread old ground. But suffice it to say, they take a lot of interesting, artistic, fun pictures and are quite good at it. You're getting a two-for-one deal here - and it's a very, very good one at that. Second, these guys come prepared. Yes, they are young, fun, and all that, but they are pros and they come correct. They had a plan ready to go (Jonathan scouted the venue the day before… dude even CLIMBED SEVERAL TREES to figure out interesting shot ideas) and, equally important, were ready to pivot at a moment's notice when weather got iffy. Yes, we had a dreaded thunderstorm during our outdoor wedding! Terrifying! But Jonathan and Nicole rolled with the punches and figured out some spectacular shots in the new lighting and conditions (mist, fog, rain droplets on trees – that sort of thing) that are truly one of a kind. Honestly, you never want bad weather at a wedding, but I feel like our photos are completely unique and amazing as a result of it. Wouldn’t change a thing. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, as you work with Jonathan and Nicole they start feeling like old friends. They are good with working with people – parents, families, brides, grooms, kids, whatever – and it shows. And you feel like they are really invested in your special day – not just the photographs, but the overall experience – and it adds something. Sounds cheesy, and maybe it is, but when you are running around like a crazy person on the day of your wedding, having a team like Jonathan and Nicole is a definite calming force. Hell, we even took them out for beers after we did our engagement photos! TL;DR – These guys are incredible. Use them, you won't regret it!

As a first time bride, late in life, I accidentally stumbled upon this vendor through a Google search for who would have the "married name" I would take? The first return included pictures matching the name with a website but.. they were not wedding pictures. Interested and surprised that it was near a town I grew up in, I looked at the wedding photos. I knew I would eventually need to find a photographer, but no rush. I was so impressed and knowing I wanted a small town vendor, we contacted Nicole and signed a contract a year ahead of plans. Friends and family said, are you sure, you don’t have any references? I met Jonathan 4 weeks before the wedding and although it was his first time at the venue, he searched for the not so ordinary locations and I could tell he wanted to capture something different. My husband and I are not the usual beautiful young couples they are lucky to have so we were hoping we could get a couple “wedding pictures" to put in frames for our home. Pretty simple. On our wedding day there were a few hiccups with wrong flowers, wrong hair and minor things so we didn't know what to expect. We received our first 5 photos within a day after the wedding. It was a sneak peak and we thought it was going to be just fine. Weeks later as promised, we got all of our photos on line and I quickly scanned through them. All I could think of is , oh my goodness, this is AMAZING.. and so MANY to choose from. I've never been happier! Absolutely our best decision we could have made and all those little things that didn’t work out that day – were gone. I've looked at them at least once a day since I received them and even my husband who hates his pictures kept saying - this one's good too! I love the candid shots as well as the details that Jonathan and Nicole found with our family and friends, decorations, and even our venue surroundings. They made memories that will last forever and I treasure our wedding day much more now that we have these photographs. Amazed, thankful, blessed and truly grateful to see young professionals who work hard, enjoy their job and treat clients like us as special friends. When I told Jonathan the story of why I choose him as our photographer, he said with a smile - "It was meant to be". He was not wrong - and you won't be disappointed by his commitment and value for what we know he strives to have - the amazing shot you won't believe until you see it. I hope his career will continue to soar and that he will be admired for the talent by everyone else as much as we admire his and Nicole's work. They are fun to be with and they know what they are doing. Leave the stress behind, enjoy your special day and it will ALL be captured for you to share with your loved ones for many years to come.

Jon and Nicole were both amazing!! So friendly and professional but still got all the photos I wanted and delivered STUNNING images. The value was great and I can't wait to hang these photos on my house for everyone to admire!!

Jonathan and nicole are great people to have photograph any special event or event just fo.fun.photos. when they photographed my wedding they were so involved in everything that was going on they captured precious moments and funny.moments. we will always have these memories in photos due to them. They also make every event special to each person. I have not seen one photo look identical to another one that they have taken at someone elses event. They are great I highly recommend them.

We added the challenge of including our dogs and horses in both the engagement and wedding photographs, who don’t take direction well. Our engagement session was shot on one of the hottest, buggiest days of the summer! Our wedding was on a hill in October and was chilly and threatened rain. Neither session was easy but Jonathan and Nicole made them look like they were. Jonathan and Nicole were truly able to capture the true feel of our big day in a way that we will cherish for many years to come. I can't not say enough good things about their workmanship and professionalism. They blended right in to our crazy family on the wedding day and I can not thank them enough for sharing these special moments with us!
