Bergheim Ranch Event Venue and Lodging

We had our wedding in April of 2026 at Bergheim Ranch. It was not initially on the top of my list for wedding venues but we wanted to see the property in person due to its location and boy was I blown away. The pictures on their website cannot come close to conveying the beauty of this slice of Texas. The grounds are breathtaking and the reception space is warm and romantic without feeling too much like a barn (something I was concerned about).  The venue is family owned and operated by the wife, Barbara. She is down to earth and polite. Communication was seamless and we had no issues or concerns from the day we booked the venue to our big day, which was over a year later. Barbara is always looking for ways to upgrade or enhance her property. New windows and AC were added the year before we found them and she has plans for jaw-dropping chandeliers to be installed sooner rather than later.  We took full advantage of the 3 separate houses on the property that are rented out on Airbnb year round. The Windmill House was the perfect getting ready house for all the girls, mothers and flower girls. The second house was used by the groomsmen and we stayed in the 3rd house the night of our wedding. (No hotel or transportation needed!)  If you are looking for a venue that allows the the beauty of the Texas Hill country to shine, close to Boerne, customizable to whatever vendors you bring in, with an experienced owner that is warm and friendly. This is your place! 

Bergheim Ranch Venue is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for an indoor and outdoor romantic wedding. I knew when I saw this rustic country venue that our daughter in law would fall in love with it, and she loved it! This was the perfect place for a romantic country indoor/outdoor wedding and reception. This venue has so much to offer and was the perfect place for family and friends. The best part of this venue is the outdoor hill country landscape and beautiful oak trees, but it was the evening that stole the show, with an amazing full moon that you could almost touch. The bride and groom shared a beautiful moment, and the photographer capturing the full moon with them dancing quietly. The owner Barbara was very caring and such a pleasure to work with. Even the guests loved her, and our families too. She was amazing when it came to getting things set up and was a huge help when it came to the final floor layout plan and vendor set up station recommendations. She truly is an amazing and very knowledgeable host and always available when you need her too. The venue cost was less than other venues that did not compare to this venue, especially the huge outdoor space and plenty of guest parking too. I would like to say that it was the beautiful hill country private setting, tucked away in a romantic field, that stole the show and hearts of the bride and groom. Every detail from the food, cake, and dancing that made for a perfect romantic outdoor & indoor wedding. To this day, the guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and the great time they all had celebrating, but it was the bride and groom that walked into the venue for the first time, and the bride was overcome with emotion on how beautiful her wedding truly was, and guests saying they can't get over everyone talking about having their own wedding cake at every table.
