Berit was so thoughtful in working with us at both ceremonies and put us at ease knowing she would be there no matter the circumstances. I have 3 daughters and have been following Berit’s work for years and knew she was our dream photographer. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the photos that she sent us to review. From the beginning of the day at our home, my daughter’s wedding has been documented so beautifully and so artistically. The pre wedding photos were at two separate locations and each is as detailed as the others. Our church has never been photographed so elegantly! The shots of my daughter walking down the aisle with her cathedral train and veil are breathtaking! The hardest part will be selecting our favorites since they all are great! I have shared the link to family members and can’t keep up with the compliments that keep coming. As you can imagine these photos were even more important than ever as many of our family and friends were not able to join us as they couldn’t travel from out of state to NJ during the pandemic. Her assistant Barb sang "baby shark" to our 1 year old niece about 100 times to get good photos. Something that doesn't get very much attention though is how some photographers change personalities during different phases of the process: i.e. a) signing up the photographer; b) preparing for the 'day-of' shoot; c) the big-day event; and d) getting the final work products. I've learned (the hard way), that there are different faces for each photographer during those separate phases. In the initial phases, they are ALL easy to work with, very flexible, happy to help....but then "happy faces" turn a little cooler once the contract is signed. Berit is a highly qualified photographer who will not let you down when it comes to quality. But beyond good lighting and excellent photos, she's an absolutely fabulous human being with a tremendous heart. The person you deal with on that first call - is the same person you'll get when they are "herding cats" during the big wedding shoots and the same one you'll deal with when finalizing that ultimate wedding book. When you deal with Berit, you know she loves her work and she finds a way to make the business elements far less stressful for the client. She is hands down, our favorite photographer.

special day. I interviewed many photographers but from the second, Berit's previous business manager answered my email, I know Berit would be my photographer. I spoke with Berit numerous times over the 1+ year prior to my wedding, and she answered every question (sometimes more than once). She met with me early to ease my anxieties, and was happy to change around the timeline for me, up until the day before my wedding. She and her assistant Barbara were absolutely AMAZING the day of the wedding. My now husband did not want getting ready pictures or any by himself, but he and his groomsmen really enjoyed working with Barbara. We already have all our pictures and our wedding was a month ago and I cannot stop looking at them. They turned out gorgeous! She met the key players early on grandparents, significant friends etc. so that by the time the wedding came she was a familiar face. She then did engagement pictures for both couples at our home in NJ , one was in the Fall the other the following Spring. In both instances she took advantage of the season and took pictures accordingly, again getting to now the personality of the bride and groom before the big day was a big advantage. Finally, one wedding was local but the other was a destination in Palm Beach, Florida.She was able to navigate an unfamiliar place with great ease. She also did the Rehearsal dinner photographs for both weddings and has been hired by one of the groom's parents to do their daughter's wedding next year.
