Bernard Alexis Photography

session with us the day before our wedding, since we already had engagement photos when we chose him as our wedding photographer, which worked out so well—it helped us warm up to the camera and made us even more excited for the big day. On our wedding day, Bernard and his second shooter Joe made everything run so smoothly. He guided us effortlessly, helped us feel completely comfortable, confident, and captured every moment with such care and talent. The photos are absolutely stunning—memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives. And of course, you can always find Bernard on the dance floor having an amazing time!! He brought the best vibes, and the best results. We can't recommend him enough.

e gallery he gave us! Thanks to Bernard, we will have amazing photos to cherish forever. Couldn't recommend him more!

we’ve gotten including our engagement pictures came out so captivating. When I was wedding planning and trying to choose vendors Bernard was the ONLY person to mention daylight savings to me and that my ceremony may be too late to get pictures in the daylight. Because of his advice I was able to move my times around and make my ceremony earlier. He basically saved my pictures for my wedding before even being hired and I was so impressed. I felt very strongly about having a good photographer for my wedding and actually opted out of the photographer that came with my package to have Bernard and I have 0 regrets. Bernard is such a pleasure and was extremely helpful on my wedding day helping me to put on my shoes and making sure we were all on schedule. I also needed a lot of direction as I am not creative and don’t have a good eye for what will look good so I went with his lead and was not disappointed. We had a sudden death in the family, and the last picture taken of my uncle was at my wedding. I reached out to Bernard to see if he could expedite a few pictures of my uncle so we could use them for the services. Bernard got me the pictures within a few days and my family was so grateful. I highly recommend Bernard Alexis and know many people that have used him for their weddings as well! I have gotten an incredible amount of compliments on my wedding photos, people are truly amazed.

totally lived up to my expectations (and beyond). Our photos were delivered to use via email less than 3 months after our big day (during the holiday season I might add!). We received our "teasers" a little over a month after, which was perfect for Thank You cards. Bernard got all the shots I asked of on my wedding day and they are simply flawless. I highly recommend him!

him for our engagement shoot, he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. The photos he took perfectly captured who we are and the love we share. On our wedding day, Bernard was incredible. He caught all the special, candid moments while making everyone, including our guests, feel at ease. So many people commented on how warm and personable he was—it honestly felt like having a close friend behind the camera. The way he captures emotions so naturally is truly special, and the final photos were better than we ever imagined. Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out to be absolute dreams, all thanks to Bernard!

photos with him to the moment he showed up on the wedding morning, we knew we were in good hands. The detailed emails he sent us to make sure we got every picture we wanted on our day to suggesting to stop at the Islip Grange for pictures were all what made our day. He knew the rustic vibe we were going for and really captured that for us. He made us feel so comfortable the entire day and sent us our sneak peeks as we landed back from our honeymoon which was such an awesome surprise. I would recommend Bernard to everyone!

otos! Right off the bat, I thought Bernard was kind and personable. He was interested in getting to know us as a couple above anything else. We met him initially at our engagement shoot and had such an enjoyable experience with him. On top of being personable, we thought he was also funny and made us very comfortable in front of the camera. By the time our wedding day came, we couldn’t wait to see and work with him again! He did an excellent job of making the experience fun for everyone, and ensured all the photos we wanted were captured at the wedding. His assistant was really great as well. I can’t say enough good things about him, and anyone would be so lucky to have Bernard photograph their wedding day!!

es as well as time together as husband and wife, and time with our guests. Our wedding was better than we could have asked and Bernard had a huge role in that. He made us feel beautiful every minute of the day. His photography is pure art and worthy every single penny. 100% book Bernard.

e when we had questions and made the entire experience a blast!

came out amazing for both! He also managed to make my wedding day fun for both myself my husband and bridal party! I would absolutely recommend Bernard for wedding photography!

e would be great from the day we signed the contract. Our engagement photos were beautiful and it really showed us Bernard’s creativity. We took them in Dumbo and he knew exactly where and when to take the photos. On our wedding day, him and his assistant Joe (who was just as amazing!) knew exactly what to do and when to do it. They made us feel so calm and comfortable throughout the entire day. Our teasers came out beautifully!! Bernard also went out of his way to recommend our videographer, who was also great to work with that day! We cannot wait for our photos!

zar and he was AMAZING. The pictures came out absolutely stunning and in a timely fashion. 10/10 would recommend!!!!!

special day could have been as perfect as it was without him. Bernard did an excellent job of utilizing the venues we picked for the photos and took some incredible shots of the ceremony and reception. Not only did he work incredibly well with our other vendors, but he even helped them get shots they admittedly couldn’t have gotten without him. We highly recommend his services for your event and look forward to using his services again in the future!

RGEOUS. We had a blackout during our wedding and my bridal party and I were in the bridal suite trying to problem solve, and the second Bernard came in all of my friends went “BERNARD!” And it changed the whole mood. 1000000000/10 would recommend!

absolutely wonderful to work with. He is fun, friendly, organized and professional. He provided great direction and made us feel so comfortable and confident on our special day. He really made an impression on our friends and family as well, as we received so many compliments about him! And not only is he great to spend 8+ hours with on your wedding day, but the photos themselves are beautiful. We didn’t have a videographer, so it was important we chose a photographer who really captured the moment. And Bernard did just that! We will cherish these memories forever thanks to him.

ernard captures everything so perfectly and has fun while doing it. Bernard is so calm and makes sure you get everything that you are looking for. We truly loved getting to spend the day with him. Bernard spent the entire day with us and when he said goodbye to us; 10 minutes later he was up on the dj stand snapping pictures and said “I couldn’t miss that moment!!” He is really passionate about what he does. Booking Bernard was the best thing we did for our wedding ! I got married on June 24th and got teasers just days after! So many of my guests commented on how amazing the teaser photos were. We cannot wait to see everything else. Bernard deserves more then 5 stars!!

perfectly captured our personalities and relationship. Then he absolutely blew us away on our wedding day. Bernard started with us at 10:30am and shot for 14 hours - capturing every single picture, detail, and moment we could have possibly wanted and more. He was so patient with our ~rowdy~ family and friends and even managed to keep us ahead of schedule the entire day. Bernard has the best energy about him. You can tell photography is a passion for him not just a job. If you are looking for genuinely beautiful photos for your big day, you should absolutely book him today!!

ures back and we are completely in love with them. He managed to capture every single moment that we wanted, plus so many more that we didn’t even know we wanted. When I was looking for a photographer, I knew that I wanted that ‘light and airy’ vibe, and Bernard’s work is exactly that. Not only is he amazing at what he does, but he is the nicest guy ever and really goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable throughout the day. His prices are also very reasonable which is obviously a huge plus. He also includes an engagement shoot in his wedding package which was great because we used those pictures for our save the dates and it also gave us a chance to work with him before the wedding. And all of the communication leading up to the wedding was great – he was always quick to respond. I could go on and on, but overall, we would 100% recommend Bernard to any couples looking for a photographer for their wedding!

tire time. He truly is someone we enjoyed spending our whole wedding day with (because let’s be real you’re with your photographer almost the entire day, and it should be a presence you enjoy– it makes a difference trust me) Not only is he a great photographer, but a fantastic down to earth individual. He captured us in such an authentic way and told the story of our wedding day so beautifully through his work. Every photo he delivered looks so effortless and natural– which is exactly the style we wanted for our pictures! We couldn’t be happier with our photos and choosing Bernard as our photographer!

y was he wonderful to work with but his pictures are beyond beautiful. We are so happy with our pictures and our experience.

ng special. Not only is he a beyond amazing photographer but he is so kind, warm and funny, and exactly someone you would want to spend the most special day of your life with. We planned our wedding during the height of covid, so everything was phone and zoom calls. We were hesitant to book a vendor so important like photographer after a phone conversation but we never had a thing to worry about with Bernard. When we met for our engagement shoot, we were so excited to finally meet him and we had the best time together. As for the day of the wedding--my grandma is STILL talking about how much she loved Bernard and his partner Nazar. Both of our families were so impressed with their professionalism but also how personable they both were. We had lots of laughs with Bernard and Nazar. As for the photos......I CANT EVEN. Stayed up til 230am after Bernard sent us our gallery going through them all. And looking at them brought seriously happy tears to my eyes after looking at all the special moments that were captured that day. HIRE BERNARD NOW. Seriously. I was honestly sad when the wedding was over that we wouldn't get to work with him anymore :/ but guess that means we will just have to hire him for our next life changing event ;) THANK YOU BERNARD!

that he works with, Jakub, shoot our wedding. I would book them all over again. Bernard is very professional and easy to work with from beginning to end. Jakub was also amazing to work with on our actual wedding day and we loved how our photos came out. We can't say enough how happy we were with their services and I would recommend them to any friend or family.

rd was so accommodating and responsive, which was so helpful! He is such a pleasure to be around and he makes you feel such at ease in front of the camera, it felt like we had a friend capturing our special day. He truly invests in his couples’ happiness and made the whole process easy going. On top of that, he delivered the images earlier than expected, which was an awesome surprise and we were blow away with how beautiful the pictures turned out. We would recommend Bernard in a heartbeat!

ard's photos were initially what drew us to him, but after speaking with him, we loved him even more. He made us laugh and made us feel so comfortable. He truly understood exactly what we were looking for and helped us pose to help us look our best, and took photos of every detail of the day. Our photos came back within weeks of our wedding and they were all truly impeccable. He took some of the most candid and artistic photos. I will treasure these forever. I highly recommend him and his team.

ment shoot. For the engagement shoot we got the photos back within a month, and they were absolutely gorgeous. The website for viewing the images and downloading them was also very easy to use. As for the wedding, he was wonderful. He kept everyone laughing and put people at ease; all of my bridesmaids said he was the nicest guy they met and they really enjoyed hanging with him throughout the day. My maid-of-honor even said that if she gets married, she would want him as her photographer. He made everyone feel comfortable, and I think the pictures will definitely showcase that. He’s sent me a sneak peek image from the wedding, and I absolutely love it. The colors, placement, and background look stunning, I really don’t know how he does it! And that brings me to the best quality of Bernard’s, and that is he has a vision. I really didn’t have many ideas by way of photography, including what I wanted to have pictures of and who. It was honestly all a little overwhelming! But Bernard listens to your thoughts and ideas (even if you only have a few) and then extrapolates it. He created little photoshoots with everything—shoes, dress, veil, rings—while we were all getting ready, and then had lots of great ideas for taking pictures with everyone in the bridal party as well. I really didn’t have to worry about anything, he knew what I liked and what he wanted to take pictures of and I felt completely comfortable leaving it all in his hands. He would periodically show me photos he had taken on his camera, and I was shocked by how pretty I thought I looked! I feel like I don’t normally photograph well, but he knows all the good angles. The best part of all, I’ve had guests tell me they really liked him, and my mother-in-law mentioned that he was always there to take a picture of anything significant or funny happening at the wedding. He did all this while still keeping to the background. I loved working with Bernard, and I highly recommend that others hire him for their weddings or any other special events! You absolutely won’t regret it!

ainly depend on him! We could not be any happier with our engagement photos and wedding photos - they are simply amazing. He will capture all of your special and candid moments on your wedding day, which allows you to relive your day so easily! We are SO THRILLED and could not have asked for anything more from Bernard. We have beautiful photos for a lifetime thanks to him. You will be in amazing hands!!!

night and captured all of our special moments. So happy with Bernard :)

eak with, explained everything on the phone and really took his time to create the perfect wedding package for us that fit our budget. He worked AMAZINGLY well with my videographer, you would have thought they were a team! He was so professional and so sweet, my husband and I do not like taking pictures at all, in fact we were very hesitant to even book a photographer, but I am SO happy I chose Bernard he made things so comfortable, simple and easy for us. The most amazing the about Bernard - his turn around time. I was SHOCKED at how quickly I received all my photos after hearing other couples horror stories on how long it took for them to get their photos. The photos were absolutely perfect, he truly was outstanding at capturing all the special moments of our day, when I was looking through the photos I really felt like I got to re-live the experience. I am so grateful I will have these photos to always look back on - thank you Bernard, you are the best!

managed to get all the amazing photos we wanted. His turn around time for both the engagement and wedding photos was extremely quick and they turned out better than we could have imagined. Would 100% recommend!

ahead of our first shoot. His incredibly friendly demeanor immediately put us both at ease. Both my husband and I are naturally private people and neither of us would say we feel particularly comfortable in front of the camera or being in the spotlight, but Bernard was great at making us laugh and allowing our true personalities and love for one another to come through in the photos. During our engagement session and wedding day, he made us feel so comfortable that we forgot the cameras were even there. He was also incredibly accommodating in our engagement photos by allowing our little (and uncooperative!) dog to participate, and he captured photos of us all together that we will cherish forever. He was meticulous in his preparation for the wedding, asking us in the days leading up which shots we wanted, who we wanted included, etc. and in hindsight, we are SO glad that he knew which questions to ask, because there was literally not a single moment or person left out of the photos. He did such a wonderful job at capturing our big day, and our smiles are beaming every time we look through the album. The whole process and end result couldn't have turned out any better and we cannot recommend him HIGHLY enough.

for me!). All of my guests complimented on how well he and his assistant did with capturing great moments and being part of the party rather than obtrusive. I HIGHLY recommend Bernard to anyone!!!

but they also kept us laughing and smiling the whole day. We never felt over posed or uncomfortable. Every minute was enjoyable and the pictures came out incredible. I wasn't expecting to be so excited about telling people about our photographer but I can only say amazing things about Bernard. I want to recommend him to everyone!

band and myself, and we have so many beautiful pictures of us together, and of our families. I couldn't have been happier with our pictures and with Bernard's ability to make us feel at ease all day.

ured a look that fit with our wedding. He was wonderful to work with.

ddress any idea or concerns I had, especially in the last few months leading up to the wedding. I would highly, highly recommend Bernard!

( it's in all pictures ) , loosen up a little bit , your eyes are closed lets re take that, smile more etc Not much direction was given.

ake up for it. We couldn't have found anyone better than Bernard. We had first met him during my sister's wedding that he had done. The plethora of gorgeous pictures he sent her later had us talking about how wonderful he was for days. When my husband and I got engaged there was pretty much no discussion. We had to have Bernard. Not only were his photos beautiful, but I can look at them and feel beautiful. This is a huge thing for me since both my husband and I are never comfortable in front of a camera. Bernard made sure we were completely at ease, so his specialty candid shots are completely genuine. We were calling him a ninja with some of the moves he did to get certain shots. You can tell he loves what he does and is just a pleasure to talk to.

e at our house the weekend before our reception. Bernard was very accommodating and supported us on both weekends. He is excellent at his job and makes you feel very comfortable. You almost forget he is there. He becomes like family by the end of your event. I Highly recommend Bernard if you are looking for a stress free day.

during my brother's wedding and knew that when we married he would be the perfect photographer for us. Bernard came early during the day to capture some photos of me and my bridesmaids getting ready in the monring and then came later that afternoon to get photos of my husband and his groomsmen, as well as stayed for the rest of the night for the actual wedding. We never felt pressured or posed with him around, just complete ease and comfort. In the sea of fantastic chaos that was our wedding, he was able to capture the most special moments of our day in the most fun and professional way. I would recommend Bernard to any bride looking for a photographer who is fun, easy to work with, and professional. We truly loved him!

fantastic they came out. Bernard is so easy going and truly loves what he does.
