So I'm not one to write reviews on many things, but I felt like our experience called for one. We hosted a private event in one of their private rooms this past weekend for our Reh...
earsal Lunch and honestly, the service did not meet up to our expectations at all. In fact - it almost in a way felt like there wasn't any aside from placing the food in the buffet area. Our guest were not greeted by our waiter, nor were they informed on what was being served. Not to mention, we were not offered any other soft drinks (that were prepaid for) and all that was available were glass containers of water that were already placed on the table prior to our guests arrival. Kid you not, nice girl, but our waiter stood by the entry way of our event and just looked at us. With our 'buffet package' we also included the additional $2 per guest cheesecake - in which one precut (maybe 12'in) cake was brought out not only for our guest to serve themselves, but there were not enough slices to cater to all of our guest. Once inquired, I was informed by our waiter that they usually only bring out ONE cake per event. May I remind you, we payed the extra $2 so that everyone gets a slice. Other than that, there wasn't any background music within the private area that we blocked for 3hours - talk about awkward. We all ended up leaving about an hour early. Unfortunately pretty turned off by this place especially considering the cost. Food was ok.

mingle. We even had a some of our teammates perform and no re-arranging was needed. Not to mention we had an open-air photo booth, buffet style dining and a place to setup our team appreciation gifts. All in one space, comfortably. The food was delicious and the bar made it easier for everyone to get drinks with a party of our size. But the highlight of the entire experience was the staff! The event ran like a well oiled machine! The food came out and was regularly replenished without a word! The bar was adequately staffed and drinks came out very timely. Lindsey, her team and the restaurant exceeded my expectations beyond what i could have imagined! i would HIGHLY recommend anyone host their next event at Bernie's in Hatboro, PA.
