For the two years we planned, they kept in constant contact to check up on us and see if we needed help. They even let us display my husband's late father's project car inside. On wedding day, Emma constantly checked on us to make sure we were eating and staying hydrated, all while helping our family set up. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. I recommend them to everyone.

rst, the venue is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. Angela reached out to us multiple times throughout the process to see how things were going and if we needed anything, they worked with us on any changes we requested, they coordinated with our florist, videographer, and photographer (one less thing for us to stress about!), and the day of the wedding went more smoothly than I could ever hope or even imagine it could go. I kept thinking, "Why am I not stressed? Shouldn't I be feeling stressed out at this point?!" Angela anticipated our needs and took care of everything, both during the planning process and the day of. I feel so blessed that we were truly able to actually ENJOY the day. There are so many areas around their property for really awesome pictures, and Alan was a phenomenal DJ! The dance floor was crowded until the very end and people weren't ready to stop dancing. Also, their prices are really reasonable for all the services they provide, and they have so many different options available that you are able to make your wedding experience uniquely yours. And the food was delicious too! It was such a magical day. I'm forever grateful to Berry Acres for helping to make our wedding one of the best days of our lives.

Emma was our planner and coordinator, and made sure everything went smoothly- from planning meetings months in advance, to the rehearsal, to our big day, down to making sure the tablecloths were just right. She made my dream come true of an outdoor ceremony, while wisely having a backup plan if the weather didn't cooperate. Our officiant shared how our wedding ended up being one of the smoothest he's ever been apart of because of her. My husband and I didn't have to stress about a thing because we knew we were in such good hands! If you're considering Berry Acres, go for it!!!! You won't regret a thing.

so organized and they thought of the little things that I would have never thought of. They are very responsive and always contacted me when I had questions. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL! Our sunset photos were breathtaking! We also loved the chandelier in the baby barn and the entrance sign with our name on it was so cool! We had a lot of kiddos at our wedding and we loved that there was a playroom! We received many compliments on the delicious food, beautiful centerpieces, and fun DJ service! The light-up dance floor was a huge hit! We are so grateful for Berry Acres!

It’s clear that a successful and wonderful celebration is the top priority for Angela, Emma and Alan. They are available and willing to help in any way. The food for our brunch reception was delicious and everyone serving, from drinks to bacon was helpful and attentive. We had a large number of children present and Berry Acres has a playroom so everyone felt at ease. They serve even the youngest. There is plenty of room for a large wedding but it also felt intimate with a smaller wedding of 100. We can’t say enough positive things about Berry Acres! The food is amazing and I truly wish we could take it home! The dance floor so much fun, and the change to have a last private dance was the most perfect and ultimate way to end this spectacular night! The grounds are so beautiful, and there are amazing spots to take pictures. We also did our rehearsal dinner there, and it was so amazing as well. Angela knows what she's doing for sure! I can't believe she does this every weekend (if not multiple times a week). She and the whole team (Allen, Emma, Abigail to name a few) are so focused on the couple and families that it truly amazes me. Their focus and dedication is one to strive for. One thing I wanted to extra share was that my younger sister told me that night, 'man I wish you didn't get married here, because I love it here so much I would have loved to one day get married here!' (still trying to convince her its ok to get married here too one day lol) Anyways 100/10 recommend this amazing venue. The people, the place, the options to choose from that make it so much easier and stress free. Berry Acres, thank you for making Dalton and I's July 1st wedding truly amazing! Acres truly was! From the first planning meeting to the actual wedding day each step of the way was simple & stress free. Angela, Emma & Abigail all made the wedding day absolutely perfect! We HIGHLY recommend this venue & can’t stress how easy this entire process was & help was just an email away if needed. You won’t find a better caterer as well, BK the chef provided a meal that was amazing & many of our guests said it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding. Angela and Alan Berry, the owners, were the nicest people I think I have ever had the pleasure of working with and were always available to answer questions and help with advice. They definitely took away a lot of stress that comes with planning a wedding. It was great that Angela and Alan were both DJs prior to owning the venue because they know how to make the event come to life if you have them DJ the event. I just can't say enough great things about what this venue has to offer from the scenic photo ops, to the wonderful bridal suite and grooms room (even a children's playroom for your guest's children to play in during the wedding reception) to the beautiful barn, lake, dance floor that lights up and has the couple's name, the fog for the first dance (one of my favorite videos is my daughter being twirled by my new son-in-law in a cloud, disappearing and reappearing - magical) , the food was outstanding and I mean everything was great not just one or two items, the sparkler exit, and the grand display of fireworks better than most fourth of July displays I've ever seen, as well as offering bus service to nearby hotels for your guests. When your daughter says it was way more than she could have dreamed of (and believe me when I say she has been dreaming about this day ever since she was a little girl) and your son-in-law says neither one of them could think of their favorite part of the day because they loved it all, you know you hit a home run with this venue! We have gotten so many compliments from guests about how beautiful the wedding was. I can't thank Berry Acres enough and I would highly recommend them to anyone desiring to have one of the best wedding experiences you will ever have!

with them until the end of our reception, they were nothing short of amazing. They truly are a “one-stop-shop” and executed our big day flawlessly. Not having to worry about catering, DJ, set up and clean up was a huge burden off of our shoulders. Angela, Jazmyn and Alan really go out of their way to make sure your day is stress-free. I told them several times throughout the day that I have no idea how people pull off wedding days without coordinators. Except, I wouldn’t just call them coordinators…you can tell they genuinely care. The staff at Berry Acres went above and beyond what I ever imagined. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire process and never made me feel like I was bothering them with the many questions I always seemed to have. They also provided us with a packet to fill out which was very helpful because it included many details that Justin and I never would have even thought about and definitely would have missed if we didn’t have that. My husband and I had two special requests. To be able to have a last dance with just the two of us in the room and to sit on the bed of good ol’ “Butch” while we watched our firework display. Butch was being repaired HOURS away from the venue but Alan made sure to rush the repairs and have the truck back to Berry Acres just so he could accommodate our request. Our wedding had 277 guests. Angela made sure the entire venue was cleared out after the reception so Justin and I could have our final dance which ended up being one of my favorite moments of the entire day. The food is amazing! *shout out to BK* Many guests commented on the food taste and quality. The dancefloor was a huge hit! It really adds a cool, unique feel to the room. Everybody had so much fun. The FIREWORKS! Oh my word…we received an abundance of comments on how great the firework show was. They were professional quality, and the show lasted a LONG time. I’m convinced Alan is some sort of pyro wizard. They allowed us to store pre-ceremony food in their coolers for the wedding party to have while getting ready (and even delivered it to our rooms), drop off a car load of decorations and desserts the day before (only because there was no event scheduled the day before) assisted with our dessert table, fixed the bustle on my dress mid-reception, personally served my husband and I’s drinks, stashed my veil after the ceremony, drove us around the grounds to take sunset photos, took my bouquet when I didn’t need it and then they would magically appear with it when I didn’t even realize I was going to need it…pretty much all of the tiniest details you didn’t know you would need help with. I’m sure there is a laundry lists of things I’m missing because I could rave about this venue and staff all day. When I tell you they are miracle workers, I mean it! Our day was truly stress free because of them and their excellent organization. If you are on the fence or are considering Berry Acres for your big day, DO IT! You will not be disappointed. I’m trying to think of excuses to have an event just so we can use them again! Lol

They are absolutely phenomenal at what they do. And they seemingly just keep getting even better with every day that passes. But more important than just being incredibly organized and great at wedding planning, Angela and Jazmyn will also take you in and treat you like family. These ladies won’t just become your event planners; they will become your wedding gurus, your confidants, your second set of hands, your shoulder to cry on, your comic relief when you need it most and your mind when you’ve finally lost yours. A year before I got engaged, my dad unexpectedly passed away to colon cancer. Angela and Jazmyn were right there to help talk me through and plan a special song and dance with all 3 of my brothers in honor and in place of the father-daughter dance. They helped offer song suggestions, put a giant picture of my dad on the projector behind us and helped queue each one of my 3 brothers in when it was their turn to dance. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when the song was over and I know I have them to thank for how special and memorable that moment ultimately turned out for us. While I can’t tell you what venue to book for your wedding - what I can tell you is that if you book with Berry Acres, you absolutely won’t be disappointed. This place truly is top notch. The people there will do everything in their power to make your day as special as possible. And I honestly have yet to see anywhere else in the Kansas City area that even remotely compares. Angela and Jazmyn, thank you both so very much again for everything you did to make our wedding such an incredible and memorable experience. Jeff and I will both be grateful to you guys forever.

goodness, you could not find nicer people if you tried. Alan, Angie, Jazmyn and the rest of the Berry Acres team know how to prepare for and host a seamless wedding weekend. To further speak to the patience and care we were shown by this team, we were a COVID couple who had not one, not two, but three different wedding dates when everything was said and done. They bore the disappointment of date changes with us, and then when the celebration came, they were some of our biggest cheerleaders. The Berry Acres crew became family through the 2+ years they worked with us. When our weekend arrived, there were a few specific things I noticed that make this team top of the line: - Angie and Jazmyn always seemed to be RIGHT where you needed them to be, whether it was helping with set-up, filling mimosas, calming my mother, or any of the other million tasks I put on their plate for the day - Angie is SO engaging with the wedding crowd, and works seamlessly with the DJ'ing to make announcements between songs so guests were never confused when to get food, when to go to the dance floor, what event was occurring next, etc. - The Bar and Kitchen staff - if you didn't pay attention to them, you would have never known they were there. Plates were cleared timely, people were never waiting for drinks at the bar, and everyone had smiles on their faces and were pleasant to our guests. - Alan, Angie and Jazmyn know the grounds well, and are so willing to offer picture advice of where certain wedding day events photograph best. I thought I knew where I wanted my first looks with my dad and groom to be, but Angie had even better ideas, and I can't begin to express how thankful I am that she spoke up, because I have pictures that I absolutely adore. - ALAN AND HIS FIREWORK SHOW!!!!!!!!! I cannot say enough. He blew everyone's minds, and we had so many guests tell us it was the coolest fireworks display they've ever seen. Worth every single penny of the investment! The list of ways they helped bring our could go on and on, and if I was to do it all again, I can't imagine picking anywhere else other than Berry Acres to get married. They are simply the best!

The entire venue and surrounding areas were immaculate and beautiful. The meal was absolutely outstanding! It was not a basic buffet. All the food was beautifully presented and delicious. Many of our 350 plus guests commented that it was the best buffet they had ever had. The music and sound system were amazing...and the firework show was incredible and very worth the money! We were amazed (as were our guests) at the length of the show and how fabulous the fireworks were. Overall, I would give them 6 stars if I could. Thank-you Berry Acres!

I had the most incredible wedding and it is all thanks to the berry acres family!!!
