Berson Photography

My major complaint with Berson Photography is that Richard Berson is completely disorganized and does not pay attention to details. He means well and thinks that he is doing a great job; a good word to describe him would be "aloof". Richard asked us to give him a list of pictures that we wanted taken at our wedding. The day of the wedding, this list was forgotten at his home and he was almost an hour late to my hotel room to get pictures of me getting ready for the wedding. I have no pictures of myself getting dressed and was an even more extremely stressed out bride to be. After the wedding, we realized that 15-25% of the pictures that we wanted were not taken, including a basic photo of my husband with his mother and a picture of my husband with his siblings, as well as multiple photos we wanted with our aging grandparents. Also, my husband and I purchased a "thank you" sign from Etsy that we wanted to use for our thank you cards. We talked about this with Richard and gave him the sign before the wedding. Richard apparently only took one photo with our faces in it with the sign and my husband's eyes were closed. Richard's response to this was that he didn't realize we wanted to use the sign for thank you notes or he would have taken more. What did he think the sign was for?!! Another complaint from our guests was that Richard was "pushy" and "unprofessional" when he went up to each wedding table with business cards and information to buy pictures. I had no idea that this was happening, but our guests did not like this practice. We would not have approved this either. To be fair, most of the 600 pictures that Richard and his son took were great. Richard seemed very surprised that my husband and I had any issues with him, but tried to make it up to us. However, I would not recommend Berson Photography.
