Family owned and operated, Bessie's Barn is the ultimate venue of uniqueness and charm. Bessie's Barn was creatively built by Nick and Kim Hindley and family in 2012 using old barn wood collected from barns around Iowa, giving the inside a very rustic look with tin ceilings, old hard wood floors, stain glass windows, and old wagon wheels and chicken feeders as light fixtures. Located in rural Centerville, Iowa, Bessie's Barn is perfect for all of your special events.

Bessie's Barn is absolutely STUNNING inside and out! Kim and her husband are so sweet and make sure that the day goes by smoothly and efficiently. Kim is always down to let the couples come in and use any of her decor or just look around to take some of that wedding prep stress off. We were so fortunate to find such a beautiful and cost friendly venue! ♥

Beautiful venue. Lots of time to get ready and tear down. Easy place to make it your own style. They have lots of furniture and decor that you can use as well.

We planned our wedding in Centerville while living in Texas and Louisiana. Liz was amazing and patient with all of our questions. The whole weekend was fantastic and our wedding and reception were beautiful.

This was the perfect venue for our rustic wedding! The owners were extremely helpful! The venue is absolutely beautiful and makes for perfect photos.

My fiance and I searched high and low for the perfect wedding venue. In fact, we looked around for almost a year! We both knew what we wanted, and didn't want to settle. Bessie's Barn was the answer! It was everything we dreamed of from the actual site, the surrounding location, to the owners of the barn being so incredibly helpful and easy to work with! I would highly recommend anyone wanting a barn wedding to look here. The gorgeous barn is so well done, you can "transform" the space to the exact feel that you want anywhere from a relaxed summer barbeque to a more formal or rustic chic wedding! It's spacious, has room indoors and outdoors, large bathrooms, a catering kitchen, plenty of parking... I could go on and on.
