I was recommended to Best Event by a family friend, so I went with them. At first Susy seemed very nice. She was quick to get back to me and said that since there were 2 other weddings at my venue the same weekend, she was going to try to bund...le our orders to make things cheaper - sounded great. She sent me THREE FINAL quotes (in my mind, final means one) and each quote ended up costing more and more. When I asked why the price was going up, she said it was because the wedding the night before mine had more people. I was unhappy, but she insisted I was still getting a good deal so I didn't make a big deal about it. Then she informed me there wouldn't be anyone from Best Event there to help us set up the tables and chairs (since there were extras from the wedding before ours, we had to find somewhere we weren't using to hide the extras) When I told her it would have been nice to know that before hand, she told me working with me was a nightmare and she would never work with three people in the same weekend ever again. I know that brides aren't always the best to work with, but when I'm paying thousands of dollars for rentals, I expect the person I'm working with to at least be courteous and respectful. I wasn't rude or demanding, I simply wanted to know why I was being charged more for some things. Then the day of our wedding came and after we had to rearrange all the chairs and tables, we found out they didn't deliver half of our tablecloths. When we called they insisted that they had delivered them and that we were either overlooking them or the people the night before used them. Neither was the case, and that problem could have been avoided if someone would have come out to deliver our things separately instead of delivering things for all three weddings at once. They conveniently had the number of tablecloths we were missing "clean in the store" (they forgot to bring them) and my mother demanded that they bring them out to the barn asap and they weren't to charge us for any additional tablecloths. Long story short, they were incredibly difficult to work with, and caused the most stress during my wedding. Susy Glenn, the owner, was extremely rude and unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend anyone do business with them. Three small weddings at one venue seems to be too much for them to handle, and rentals should be the least of your worries on your big day.
