Best Events Catering

round. I asked them if they could help me and they just stared at me, obviously seeing that I was not an employee and ignored me. I went back to the front desk hoping that someone would come out to help me, another 10 minutes go by and nothing. Needless to say I am very happy that I did not go with them for anything for my wedding and for anyone considering them I think you should reconsider.

first tent they set up for my wedding was dirty, had old leaves on it, holes everywhere, rips everywhere, it was a complete let down. They tried blaming the leaves on us when we have all pine trees in our yard...The kids setting up the tent left when they knew how unhappy we all were!! We had to call best events let them know how unhappy we were several time in order to get a new tent. They contacted the tent people and sent them back with a new tent and to say the least the kids were not happy. They were throwing the tent around and had extremely poor attitudes. The new tent was still ugly, ripped, dirty, and they used ugly rachet straps to secure the tent. They left us sides to put up around the tent because it was going to rain and when we went to put the sides up and who would've thought we didn't have enough sides to even cover each side of the tent. They told us we could chose between the cathedral window sides or plain white sides. Between the two of the different types of size we still didn't have enough to cover each side of the tent!! The few sides we had with Windows didn't even have the same size window it looked absolutely trashy. Also when we were putting up the sides of the tent we had to use our OWN ROPE to section the 20 feet that was ripped off and just tied there and left for us to deal with. The lighting in the tent was a joke. They left us a box of lights so we could go around and fix them ourselves. The tables and chairs were dirty and some tables had melted tops. Do not use Best Events!! I wish I would've know what I was getting myself into.

't compensate us. *Created CAD drawing WRONG* - nothing fit in the tent because they made the CAD drawing wrong. It took hours for us to move around everything in the tent. Didn't bring enough chairs for the ceremony and dinner. Hole in the tent - which was 2200. Would not fix the tent. Plus they hire out to Capital Tents. Didn't bring electrical covers Set up tables - we didn't order tables Didn't bring linens for the 4 tables I did order from them. Rude staff Miscommunication throughout whole wedding planning DO NOT USE BEST EVENTS!!!!!!!

etely incompetent! They do not return phone calls, ever. They screwed up the flowering arrangements after we were very specific several times about what we wanted, it was actually a very simple request. We wanted all burlap roses, they only sent burlap roses with the bridal bouquet, NOTHING ELSE! The wrist corsages actually fell apart when we went to put them on, this isn't our first time with corsages and they didn't fall apart because of how we put them on, they were barely fastened. When my wife went in to speak to the manager, he said that he would take a look at the notes to see where the mistake was made. He then assured us he would get back to us. HE NEVER DID!!! It's been over a week and we have literally called several times. I know when I'm being ignored and this is not OK, nor is it over! Not to mention our wedding was on Saturday, I was told that someone would be there at 8 o'clock in the morning. The building was locked in until 9. I was told to go around back where I waited for almost 45 minutes and four different members of the staff who knew nothing about what was going on came out to ask me why I was there. Have people completely forgotten how to communicate with one another? Before I wrap this up I would like to strongly suggest that Amanda find a new career! You are in the business of customer service, you have no people skills whatsoever! We talked to you weeks before our wedding and we were told you would email us the details and the final cost! We had to physically go in there to straighten this out to even get what we needed on time, at which point, we drew it out for you so that nothing could get screwed up! I could tell by the way you were handling yourself, that this was not going to go well! I will never ever do business with best events ever again for anything. You have pissed me off to the point where I will go out of my way to spread the word. JUST BECAUSE THERE ISN'T MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM IN THIS AREA DOESN'T MEAN YOU GET TO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT! Your business absolutely sucks, and people will stop shopping with you after their first experience if they have a brain in their skull!

a beef tenderloin and gnocchi dish, but was served with barely any beef. Guests thought we mistakenly gave them the pasta dish. No good.

completely happy with our food choices and were always more than happy to make suggestions to help us out. I loved that they had a ton of choices for linen and decor, so I could make sure I got what I wanted. On the wedding day, they were prompt in setting everything up and had everything quickly cleaned up at the end. Overall, I couldn't have asked for more.

expect when it came to catering, but the whole team made sure from our tasting that our meal was exactly what we wanted, and that it was the same from the tasting to the wedding. We loved feeling like the team cared just as much as we did that our day was perfect and there wasn't any opportunity for us to have any doubts! They did an amazing job working with our venue (Over the Vines) to be the service was top notch!

best part was, we told them what we wanted and had nothing more to do. The tables were set up perfectly by the time we showed up at the reception, and we didn't have to worry about them being removed either. While we didn't use their catering, I've eaten at many other events catered by Best Events and always thought the food was good.

were very fake looking and a lot smaller than promised. The corsages for the mothers and grandmothers were not even wrist corsages, and were nothing like we had discussed in our consultation. Heidi, the florist, was terrible at getting back to me by phone or e-mail, and was very disorganized.

ey gave us the proper pans for taking food home with us as well as extras for the left over cupcakes. The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five is because I thought the bbq pork was a little dry and needed some more flavoring. Other than that, everything was very good.

nue the day before to decorate, when Best Events showed up 5 hours late my centerpieces were all wrong even though i picked them out from their show room and had pictures. They had to make them that night and I was not able to see the room, or correct anything else. They did give me back half my money, but I would have rather everything been right! I had much higher expectations, their lucky they are really the only rental place in the area! RENTERS BEWARE!

You save 40% on your flowers by doing this. Although, none of the flowers turned out exactly how I wanted them, they were still beautiful and I would definitely use Best Events floral rental program again.

first two meetings, the manager lost all our paperwork so we had to start from scratch twice. We redid the menu after a quote because the buffet prices were outrageous. The manager did give us a few discounts, but promised more than he gave. We should have gotten everything in writing. So planning with Best Events was like pulling teeth. We emailed them and called a bunch of times and waited over two weeks to get a response, and our wedding wasn't even a month out! Definitely not good for the nerves. The night of, everything was set up perfectly though. The delivery and waitstaff were amazing! They almost made up for the unprofessionalism of the management. The staff was extremely friendly and completely at our disposal. They were wonderful! If you can deal with the stress of things going wrong in planning, the waitstaff is more than capable of making the day-of proceedings worth it.

ts arrived, but they forgot to put them out. So they served them at the second course!!! They also put the wrong sashes on the chairs.
