She truly answered every single question with timeliness and made me feel so calm about the fast-coming wedding day. Even down to the last days before I changed my mind only slightly, and we just kept working full speed ahead to create my vision perfectly. I cannot give her better praise than she is truly remarkable, and I could not be more grateful for her as an artist but also as a friend. I recommend her 10 times over because she is everything you need in a vendor. She's reliable, responsive, intuitive, and most of all- she wants you to feel as beautiful as possible and works her hardest to make your vision complete. Forever grateful for her and her team! Most of all- forever thankful for her friendship.

he team was GREAT at ensuring that everyone was comfortable and ready in more than enough time! Only complaint is that the planning, emailing, etc., with the admin prior to the wedding was a bit of a headache. There were lengthy times without email replies, it took several months to get a contract signed and they charge an abundance of overage charges for this and that. The stylists are great at what they do & we were so thankful for them - their management/admins could use some work!

with my hair and makeup and Gabrielle gave my husband a fierce man bun. I just wish I had taken notes so I could recreate it! All of my friends seemed very happy with their hair and makeup and looked great.

ven better than the inspo picture. The make-up that Khloe did was the best glam enhancement of my face, I was still me but a much more fabulous version, and it matched my hair and dress perfectly. From the initial conversation with Kara through to my wedding day, the excitement and expertise of Best Face Forward was a highlight for me. The fact that they asked for info for not just me but also my mom and my mother-in-law (I didn't have a bridal party so it was just the three of us) meant a lot. that she had years of experience and as long as I filled out the documents truthfully I would be in good hands. When she mentioned that she had never once paired someone with the wrong MUA in the past 10 years, I felt better. I also decided to get a skin analysis with Kara. This allowed us to talk about what I was looking for as well all the concerns I had about how the makeup would work with my skin. Kara was able to talk with me through these concerns and ideas and passed them onto Josh. Come the day of preview, I had a lot of fun. Josh listened to all of my concerns and by far it was the best outcome I could have hoped for. I had some difficulty in choosing colors and Josh helped me with everything, changing colors to let me see the difference and by the end of the day I was very satisfied with his work. Priscilla also worked wonders. I had an idea of what I wanted for my wedding hair style, but I was very indecisive regarding the hair piece(s) I wanted to wear. I also had an idea of having different hairstyles, one for the ceremony and the other for the reception. I expressed this idea to Priscilla and she worked her magic. She was able to create a look which allowed me to have one style for the ceremony then a different style for the reception while only styling my hair once! She also was able to help me choose which hairpiece(s) to go with them! On the day of, Josh and Priscilla were amazing, everyone in my bridal party loved their work. They are very professional, always checking with everyone on what they want while at the same time keeping with my request to make everyone look cohesive. I received a lot of compliments regarding my makeup and hair. One of my bridesmaids was so impressed by the level of Josh’s work they asked me how to get in touch with Josh so that they too could use them for future events. I would highly recommend Kara and her team for any events. They are all a wonderful group to work with!

Gina, Priscilla, and Josh did an incredible job on my wedding day with my hair and make up, my mother's hair and make up, and all of my bridesmaids' hair and makeup. Everything stayed throughout the night of INTENSE dancing and we all felt gorgeous. Even with my super fine hair that doesn't like to hold anything, my hair stayed up all night and looked fabulous from 2pm pictures through ceremony and reception until 11pm. I definitely recommend Kara and her team for all our beauty needs.

up artist who will create exactly what you envisioned for your wedding day! During the trial, she will take many pictures of your final look just in case anything happens on the day of the wedding. The day before my wedding, I got a call that my hair/ makeup artist was sick and unable to make it :/ but I had not one bit of worry because I knew Kara had everything handled! The day of my wedding, Kara came do makeup for myself and my bridal party and Gabrielle came to do everyone’s hair. They were so nice and added such great energy to my morning of the wedding/ getting ready process. They both did amazing!!! I felt so pretty, just like I felt the day of my trial! And my entire bridal party looked so pretty! Kara is definitely prepared for anything and you are in good hands going with Best Face Forward!

Even when only a few days before the wedding, I expressed doubts about my chosen and trialled hairstyle, they listened, understood and confirmed multiple times “we got you”. And they really did! On my wedding day, Kara and Gabrielle did absolute magic and created the most perfect hairstyle and make-up that truly captured my vision and personality! Not only did Kara and Gabrielle make me look and feel amazing, but they also made my mom, my two bridesmaids and one of our flower girls shine (all ladies who aren’t used to wearing a lot of make-up or intricate hair styles). Everyone felt so perfectly well cared for, and absolutely loved the look Kara and Gabrielle created for them. I would work with Kara, Gabrielle and BestFaceForward again in a heartbeat and really can't recommend them enough!

Even going above and beyond: later that night, I wasn’t still in love with my hair and makeup from the trial, so I reached out to them both with new inspiration pictures and ideas for what I wanted for my wedding. The day of my wedding, they absolutely KILLED my look!!! They listened AGAIN on what I wanted and did such a fantastic job- it was literally EXACTLY what I wanted!!! Love love love that I got to work with Best Face Forward and they will not disappoint!!!

I had worked really hard to convince my mom and mother of the groom to let me book their hair and make up and I am so glad I did!I did my trial with Kris and Alena a moth prior and they were so gracious and kind about any tweaks I wanted to make - they truly want you to be happy with the results (and I loved my wedding look!). Kara is very organized and makes sure everything is planned well and runs smoothly day of. You will receive your timeline 1 week prior and the team is so professional and calm. They really set a great tone for a wonderful day. I will definitely book them again for any future hair/make up needs.

Leanne, Alena, Marta, and Tanya are SO talented, and I was thrilled to see the bridal parties’ ideas come to reality. The mothers, bridesmaids, flower girls, and I don’t do much with our hair or makeup typically, and everyone looked and felt incredible! We took pictures outside in rain/mist and everything still lasted ALL night! The timeline for the wedding day did not require an unusually early start time even for 11 people.

Alena, Kris, Khloe, and Tanya did fantastic work on everyone! We had a variety of hair styles, textures, and makeup styles and preferences but everyone was really happy with their final looks. I highly highly encourage using BFF - they are the most extensive MUA team I've seen on the prep side and it sure shows in the final product!!!

I hung up the phone and immediately booked BFF. I started out with a skin analysis with Kara, we changed my skin regimen, and continued to tweak it throughout the year leading up to my wedding. I stopped going to my dermatologist to consult about the issues I was seeing because Kara’s suggestions were so much more effective. Kara also helped find me a studio to address my concerns with my eyebrows. I was lucky enough to have her and Leanne do both my rehearsal dinner and day-of look. They nailed my inspo pics , I got so many compliments on both looks, and they held up so well, even through the late summer storms. Kara and Leanne, along with Priscilla, also did day-of hair and make-up for bridal party members and moms. Kara has extremely effective and efficient systems in place to ensure that all your needs are taken care of. Not to mention that everyone was thrilled with their looks and Kara and her team were such a blast to have with us the morning of - they were basically our own little hype team. Book BFF and don’t look back.

I had made a couple adjustments after the preview, Kris and Alena were super accommodating and really helped me figure out exactly what I wanted. My MIL also had her hair and makeup done by Kriis and Alena she looked gorgeous. Our looks lasted all night, my MIL's hair was even intact the next morning. I can't say enough great things about BFF, I had a great experience and I will definitely be using them again for other events.

all of my ladies loved and they held up all day and night. Kara was responsive and organized, and was able to make it work with my tight timeline when many others I spoke to were not going to be able to. They are great people and artists, and it was so fun spending the day getting ready with them! I would 100% recommend!

On my wedding day, I asked for some slight modifications from trial day and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. My guests still comment on how beautiful my up-do was and how my makeup was a perfect soft glam, but still looked like me! My larger bridal party (8), mom, and mother-in-law all looked stunning as well thanks to Antonia, Camille, Priscilla and Marta. Additionally, BFF offers custom spray tans. I did a trial run with Marta which went great, but the wedding day tan was even better. Couldn't recommend this team enough!! Thanks for everything, Kara!

wonderful experience with BFF - from my first consultation/call with Kara to the wedding day! I had let my artists (Leanne - Hair, Heather - Make-up) know that I wanted to look elegant/classy and like a bride...but still like myself, as opposed to some other bride :) Boy did they deliver - I've never felt so glamorous and elegant as I did on my wedding day! They heard exactly what I wanted and made my vision come true! My mom and sister and couple friends who worked with them also felt beautiful!
