Kristian created a fantastic transition from our first dance to the dance playlist, and kept us in the loop for every decision via the planning document. I had some medical complications the day of our wedding celebration and we had to show up late to our own event, but Kristian and his DJ assistant were so smooth they made it seem like it was a purposefully delayed entrance! Despite our entire itinerary being pushed back, Kristian handled everything himself with our approval, and made the entire party flow as if nothing ever happened. There wasn’t a dull minute due to the expert DJ work from Kristian and Best Life Entertainment!

Kristian had the perfect balance of professionalism and fun, which I think is essential in a person DJing your wedding. Kristian coordinated meetings with my wife and I and was meticulous in planning out our walkout song, cues for father-daughter dance, mother/son, and our first dance. He was able to customize and loop certain parts of specific songs we requested, and when we gave him a sample of our music taste, Kristian just smiled a knew exactly the vibe we were going for.  On the wedding day, he kept our dance floor packed! He was cool and professional on the microphone, and was an essential part in making our wedding the best day of our lives.  We are so happy we chose Best Life Entertainment and would recommend them to anyone needing a DJ for any sort of event.

Kris was so knowledgeable and kind when helping us decide which music to pick for our ceremony, and had excellent premade playlists we were happy to listen to for cocktail hour and reception that kept the vibes high! We decided to cut down our songs for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance and it was seamless. Kris also had us add songs we wanted to dance to to a collaborative Spotify playlist in the months leading up to the wedding and that made things so easy and fun! We had some random songs thrown in there too, like Baby Shark for my nephew, and Best Life transitioned to and from those random songs exceptionally!! Kris and Trey played songs everyone, old or young, could dance to, and we all had the best time!! Two of my bridesmaids said one of their favorite parts of the night was singing and dancing to their requested song because our wonderful DJs gave them a microphone to sing into! My husband and I had the time of our life dancing our hearts out on the dance floor :) They also MC’d the event perfectly, and coordinated the speeches so everything ran smoothly. Kris even went along with a little prank on my maid of honor we had set up that will have us laughing for years to come.  Our reception took place during a big Bears game, and my husband and I had asked  Kris and Trey if they could announce major plays and/or touchdowns to get our guests excited (and hopefully keep them from watching the game on their phones!). Despite us asking this of them like half an hour before the game started, they did an amazing job!! They even paired each announcement with a song (Timber), so we all got to cheer and dance each time the Bears had a good play. It was seriously SO fun and we were so happy that they were able to accommodate such a last minute request!! All in all, we HIGHLY recommend Best Life Entertainment for any and all DJ needs. They were professional, fun, and dedicated and really were such an integral part of a fantastic day!!

J set her up to sound great! I had one of our guests come up to me on the dance floor that night. He said this, “Hey, this DJ is actually really good! He’s not just playing song to song. He’s mixing the music together well!” Right after that, I heard a little scratchy scratchy from CJ into the next tune. I’ve attended a wedding in the past which had a DJ who left pauses in between songs sometimes. Nobody wants a moment of silence on a dance floor! CJ kept the energy up at all times!
