He helped us build a playlist including song requests that our guests had asked for when they RSVP'd and he managed to work in some of the more absurd requests so smoothly while still keeping the vibes high. Kris really listened to our music tastes and somehow made the perfect mix that kept people on the dance floor all night — guests of every age included. Our choreographed first dance and all our spotlight moments went without a hitch thanks to Kris' attention to detail. He also did an awesome job MC’ing and coordinating with our live violinist during cocktail hour and dinner.
I didn't leave the dance floor all night and was so glad to see it packed with our guests all night. So many people came up to us saying how much fun they had. If you want an amazing party and a DJ who truly knows how to read the room, Best Life Entertainment is it!

Kris was so knowledgeable and kind when helping us decide which music to pick for our ceremony, and had excellent premade playlists we were happy to listen to for cocktail hour and reception that kept the vibes high! We decided to cut down our songs for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance and it was seamless. Kris also had us add songs we wanted to dance to to a collaborative Spotify playlist in the months leading up to the wedding and that made things so easy and fun! We had some random songs thrown in there too, like Baby Shark for my nephew, and Best Life transitioned to and from those random songs exceptionally!! Kris and Trey played songs everyone, old or young, could dance to, and we all had the best time!!
Two of my bridesmaids said one of their favorite parts of the night was singing and dancing to their requested song because our wonderful DJs gave them a microphone to sing into! My husband and I had the time of our life dancing our hearts out on the dance floor :)
They also MC’d the event perfectly, and coordinated the speeches so everything ran smoothly. Kris even went along with a little prank on my maid of honor we had set up that will have us laughing for years to come.
Our reception took place during a big Bears game, and my husband and I had asked Kris and Trey if they could announce major plays and/or touchdowns to get our guests excited (and hopefully keep them from watching the game on their phones!). Despite us asking this of them like half an hour before the game started, they did an amazing job!! They even paired each announcement with a song (Timber), so we all got to cheer and dance each time the Bears had a good play. It was seriously SO fun and we were so happy that they were able to accommodate such a last minute request!!
All in all, we HIGHLY recommend Best Life Entertainment for any and all DJ needs. They were professional, fun, and dedicated and really were such an integral part of a fantastic day!!

CJ was responsive, helpful, encouraging, curious and fun (!) during our prep calls, and his document helped us feel at ease for all of our big moments throughout the day especially since my husband and I have very different music tastes and we wanted a DJ who could blend our varying tastes seamlessly. CJ provided thoughtful guidance when we were unsure on certain song selections and made sure to check in on us throughout the planning process.

I had one of our guests come up to me on the dance floor that night. He said this, “Hey, this DJ is actually really good! He’s not just playing song to song. He’s mixing the music together well!” Right after that, I heard a little scratchy scratchy from CJ into the next tune.
I’ve attended a wedding in the past which had a DJ who left pauses in between songs sometimes. Nobody wants a moment of silence on a dance floor! CJ kept the energy up at all times!
Overall, we were very pleased with the work from CJ! There was organization and professionalism throughout! I would recommend best life entertainment to a friend in a heart beat!

DJ Kris and Best Life Entertainment are the pick for you. From our first call with DJ Kris, it was clear that he was the only person we trusted with our wedding. We geeked out over music, he asked all the right questions, and it was genuinely important to him that he respected and learned about the LGBTQIA+ community in preparation for the day. We were able to plan some of my VERY specific visions when it came to music and it never felt like a burden to ask for what we wanted. From the music before the ceremony, throughout dinner & cocktail hour, and then keeping EVERYONE out on the dance floor all night, DJ Kris delivered and then some. He did the perfect job of mixing the music so there was never dead space, we were never waiting for the next song to play, and he was not one of those DJ's that talked throughout the ceremony to take away from the music/day overall. Plus his kindness and excitement during the day was the exact energy we needed and wanted. Booking through Best Life Entertainment and knowing that who we talked to on the very first interview was the exact person we were going to get the day of was SO important to us. We were beyond grateful for DJ Kris and the BLE team for truly being the best DJ partner we could ask for on our wedding day. When we first got engaged, we knew right away that we wanted him to be the DJ for our wedding even before we figured out any other details. Best Life Entertainment was the first vendor that we booked right after securing our date and venue.
From our first consultation call, Kristian was nothing short of kind, attentive, and personable. He understood our vision and helped us create a playlist that reflected our taste. He knew exactly how to read the crowd and ensured that our dance floor was vibing all night. Our guests were so impressed and we got SO many compliments on how good the music was. Some of our friends even mentioned that they didn’t know it was possible for a wedding DJ to play like that.
When we were indecisive about which venue to pick, Kristian went out of his way to pull videos of when he worked a wedding at those venues to help us decide. When we had specific songs in mind for the procession and the bridal entrance but were unable to edit it ourselves, Kristian did not hesitate to help us edit and make the transition of the songs seamless. When we had to change our wedding date and plan on a shortened timeline, Kristian was very understanding and accommodating.
Beyond the music, Kristian handled all announcements with ease and double-checked to make sure he read everyone's name correctly. He helped keep our wedding on track and flowing smoothly through the night. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding day and would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends. CJ provided great communication and was a great resource during the planning process. On the day of the wedding, Christian was amazing. He ran things smoothly, from the ceremony, all the way through to the late night dancing. He had a great feel for the crowd and played a great mix of songs. Talking to our friends post-wedding, we got so many compliments about the music! Also, Christian managed the transitions so smoothly that it was seamless going from Rammstein to Charli XCX to a slow dance. We (the couple) only noticed it by how effortless everything flowed from one to the next and a sense of "how did he manage to do that?!"
We were extremely pleased with our experience and would work with CJ and Christian again in a heartbeat.

as everything we could’ve asked for thanks to Best Life Entertainment. It was such a pleasure working with Kris and CJ. Best Life will take time out to meet with you, go over your timeline and music selections. The fruit of our labor was a dance floor with over 3 hours of nonstop energy; Kris seamlessly transitioned from Classics & Oldies to Cumbia to Hip Hop to Punk Rock to R&B to EDM to Banda and everything else in between as we requested. He’ll play everything you want to hear and things you didn’t know you needed to hear! The soles of my shoes literally split apart from how hard they had us dancing. All our friends and family left raving about amazing the music was. These guys are true professionals at reading the room and blending music. Their skill injects so much energy into you event, yet they aren’t over the top nor large personalities: they always let the music speak for itself. Kris’s skills also shine on the mic as an emcee. At our ceremony and dinner, Kris got our guests where they needed to be and allowed our timeline to flow as smoothly as possible. Even when we needed to make last minute adjustments, Kris was receptive and adaptable to change. If you LOVE music, we could not recommend Best Life Entertainment enough!
