ur wedding we made the painful decision to significantly downsize the event. Our 150+ person wedding was now down to 30. Meaning, many loved ones would no longer be able to share in our wedding day. That is when we contacted Reid. During our first conversation, Reid demonstrated empathy and a willingness to get to work on our behalf. Within days, he scheduled a Zoom meeting to get to know us and what we wanted help with. Of primary importance, was live steaming the event so grandparents, aunts/uncles and friends could share in our special day in real-time. Reid confidently assured us he could make this happen, which took so much pressure off my wife and me. Fast-forward to our wedding day. Reid, and his assistant, were very timely and professional. They were inconspicuous as they set up their equipment and in no time, our wedding was being live streamed on YouTube for our friends and family who were not able to be there with us in person. By all accounts, the live stream worked perfectly. Family and friends were able to see and hear the ceremony without a hitch. Moreover, my wife and I barely even noticed them during the ceremony. They were very discrete. Reid also recorded the entire ceremony, reception, toasts, etc. He created a fabulous highlight video and provided raw footage that we will be able to relive for years to come. ghout the whole process, Reid was extremely responsive to emails, answering any questions we had promptly. Reid kept in close contact with us in the week leading up to the wedding, including doing a walkthrough of our venue with us and our photographer. This was important to us and made us feel at ease about the videography, amidst all the stress and chaos which comes the week before your wedding. Himself and his assistant came to the houses in which my wife and I were getting ready, and got some great footage early on. At the venue, they coordinated very well with our photographers, and got excellent footage, without it ever feeling like they were getting in the way. We took a little long to select the music for our video, but there was no pressure to get this done faster, and once we had selected some songs, the final edits were ready very quickly. We were thrilled with the results. We loved the artistic flair in our highlights video, which included a hilarious blooper reel of myself and my best man attempting, and mostly failing, to tie our ties when getting ready. We would absolutely recommend Reid and BMV to anyone looking to hire a videographer for their wedding.

Reid promptly showed up at the venue with his 2nd videographer, Joel and introduced himself. He was like an old friend. We were very surprised at the quick turnaround with all the videos. We really enjoyed the highlight, the longer video, and the ability to download snippets of all the videos he took. There were so many little events we didn't see or notice. Photos of our special day are one thing but adding video really captures the day. Reid is active on his social media accounts. I highly recommend following him on his Instagram because it's amusing to watch him journal the day's events leading up to our wedding -- from him getting gas, to coffee, to the traffic he dealt with, etc. I highly recommend Reid!

We initially didn’t plan on having one, but it was the best decision we made to book; the videos and moments captured allows you to look back and re-live all the wonderful memories of your big day. f a deal for his services after attending Weddings in Woodinville and really appreciated the fact that he was willing to include his 2-hour travel time to and from our venue in his overall package pricing. Reid arrived early on our wedding day and didn't waste a second getting to work. I really appreciated his attention to detail. He would stop a shot to fix my hair or someone's posture. Having his second shooter there was a huge help. Reid was incredibly professional throughout this whole process and you can tell what a hard worker he is. I have two pieces of advice for anyone looking for a videographer: prepare yourself that the music you can use for your video has to be licensed, so I would assume each vendor has their own sites/songs that can be used. This never occurred to me so was a bit stressful when it came time to pick from thousands of songs I'd never heard before when I had a mountain of other stressful to-do's to tackle. Reid gave plenty of time to pick songs and you can even wait until after your wedding day to do so, but I wanted to ensure I wasn't doing anything on my end to tie up the delivery of our video. My other piece of advice is to do your homework and ask questions about what your final video will look like. I think I had watched too many other couple's videos from other vendors so was surprised when our highlight video came back with our full ceremony vows instead of bits and pieces. He had specified to choose an instrumental song if you wanted your ceremony audio included, but I should have clarified what exactly that meant so I could have been prepared. Unfortunately there's no way to see a "draft" version to make major edits, so be sure to watch plenty of your videographer's work ahead of time and specify anything you do or don't want to see. The end product was nice, just not quite what we were expecting. But family and friends loved it and we are so glad to have these memories captured to re-watch for a lifetime!

He showed up earlier than requested, knew the general timeline and was able to set up real quick and easy. We also get to see some of the moments we missed like the reactions during the ceremony, all our guests mingling during cocktail hour, watching our first dance, and late-night dance battles. One of my bridemaids literally said "That is the best wedding video I have EVER seen!" Reid doesn't just put a bunch of video clips and music together he does an incredible job telling the story of the greatest day of our lives. A very important thing too, is how easy it is to work with Reid. He reached out to us to check-in and was very responsive to all our questions. We were able to "meet" with him over Facetime when we were first looking for a videographer. Our wedding was in Bellingham, several miles north of Seattle where Reid is based, but he did an excellent job communicating with our wedding coordinator and photographer so that we didn't have to worry about timelines. Everything flowed well that day and Reid and his assistant Jeff did a great job capturing moments between us, our wedding party, and family and friends. Reid is such a friendly and easy-going person with a lot of skill that it felt very natural to have him around to capture the day. But it doesn't end there! Reid did an excellent job communicating and getting clips and the final video edit to us quickly. He continues to be excited for us and celebrate our special day with thoughtful posts and messages. Reid has this get-it-done mentality that is exciting to witness and see translated in his quality of work. We were, first, referred Best Made Video's way by an old colleague in the Marketing Media/Production industry and deservingly so. We had a very unique Same-Day edit vision and, not only was Reid up for the challenge but, Best Made Videos over-delivered and exceeded our expectations. The entire process is set-up for success. I recall our Day-Of Coordinator assuring us that he "knows what he is doing" when sharing and reviewing that our Videographer contract was good-to-go. During the morning of our Getting Ready phase, he showed up to the Bridal Party location ready, enthusiastic as ever and took control of all the timing that he had to work with. Not in the least bit of the over-bearing type but the kind where you truly don't know how the Day-Of is going to go until you are fully immersed in it and it is happening (you can only bake in slots of timeframes to a point) and Reid got the job done with intended shots while paying great attention to each and every little detail that could possibly be captured. He did so in such a refined and encouraging way. Another family friend asked post-wedding if we had a personal relationship with Reid just by the embracing way we were able to hug it all out at the conclusion of the crazy, wild, fun and beautiful day's filming but I firmly believe his natural passion in this business has the tendency to reflect in this way. ith. The moment they showed up at our venue they went to work, but you could tell they enjoyed their job. They were joking with everyone and blending in with the crowds, while capturing all of the most important moments and making it look easy. The communication from the time of booking through the delivery of the videos was prompt and organized. He was very realistic about what could and couldn’t be done with video so that we weren’t surprised when getting the footage back. There was a time when we weren’t sure about having a videographer and we could not be happier that we were given Reid’s information and encouraged to have live video of our day. We got the video back within days of our wedding and have relived it several times already. Best Made Videos could not come more highly recommended from us! They are amazing!
