Reid is professional, and has clearly been doing this work for a long time. Prior to the wedding, he was thorough in his survey about what kind of music we wanted associated with the video, who we should be seen with, and prioritizing which scenes to capture - and he delivered! Reid was also careful to capture what mattered while staying in the background so our guests could be natural. We love the drone footage of our scenic venue captured before the event, and transitions and sound quality of the video are exceptional.

Our highlight reel included everything we asked for and more; we had great shots of ourselves and our guests at the reception. The videos captured all the unique touches that we put into our wedding and really highlighted the venue for both the ceremony and the reception. We also did a live stream of our wedding for those who couldn’t make it, and the quality was perfect. There was nothing more we could have asked for in a videographer for our wedding day and we would strongly recommend Reid to anyone looking for someone to record footage of their big day.

avorite vendor. He was flexible in working with us on our contract scope, incredibly responsive over email, and had very helpful suggestions along the way. The day of our wedding we even told him he was our favorite vendor because he’s just so darn nice and easy to work with. Because I really like Reid, I sincerely wish I could say we were happy with the quality of the videos. Unfortunately, that’s just not the case. For the ceremony live stream, there were two big issues: 1) live stream camera angles that highlighted the parking lot rather than the gorgeous greenhouse, trees, or the canal and 2) turning the groom's mic on too soon so that private conversations were live streamed. For the video guest book, it did not look professional AT ALL. The entries had poor lighting, inconsistent audio, and an ugly background. The video guest book was supposed to have a background in front of a large window with trees and the canal as the backdrop. This information was sent to Reid from our wedding planners 11 days before the wedding. Unfortunately, on our wedding day of there was a miscommunication and Reid set up in a poorly lit corner that prominently featured the parking lot, the thermostat, and the fire alarm. I know that this was only partially his fault (my understanding is that our planners screwed up and directed him to set up there), but it was a huge disappointment and we wish he would have spoken up and adhered to our original game plan. In addition to the lighting and the ugly background, during some of the video guest book entries you can see the videographer adjusting the microphone stand. There were also several audio issues where the microphone (provided by Best Made Videos) appears to cut out halfway through the video entry. In summary, as much as Reid is the nicest guy and I sincerely wish him the best, I would never trust him to capture once-in-a-lifetime video memories again.

nd fun throughout the process. From our first inquiry, to special requests after our wedding, he was always very patient and quick to help us understand our options. Their detailed survey helped us figure out what we wanted to capture and how we wanted to remember our wedding day. We didn't want people to feel like they were being followed around, so we were relieved that Reid was very engaged, but low key, and quick to make our family and friends feel comfortable. Being a gay couple, we also wanted to make sure our vendors (especially photographer and videographer) didn't make heteronormative assumptions or asks of us. Reid was completely inclusive and didn't make us feel at all like we had to play the roles of "bride" and "groom". After the wedding, the turnaround was very quick - only a couple of weeks to get our highlights video, full ceremony, and raw footage. When we asked for a special customized edit of some of the clips, Reid turned it around in a week during peak wedding season. We would definitely recommend Best Made Video for your videography needs.

They made it a comfortable experience and we even forgot for most of the day that the camera was even there. All things considered, Reid and his team probably ended up being the least stressful part of our wedding day, and the stream looked AMAZING. Watching it back, we got every angle we asked for, and might've been a better watching experience than being there in person. Even in a moment of panic, when we experienced a power surge and the stream cut out for a minute, the Best Made Videos team acted quietly and efficiently to sort things out, and get us up and running again. Everyone that watched only had good things to say, and I couldn't recommend Reid and Best Made Videos more highly.

Of primary importance, was live steaming the event so grandparents, aunts/uncles and friends could share in our special day in real-time. Reid confidently assured us he could make this happen, which took so much pressure off my wife and me. Fast-forward to our wedding day. Reid, and his assistant, were very timely and professional. They were inconspicuous as they set up their equipment and in no time, our wedding was being live streamed on YouTube for our friends and family who were not able to be there with us in person. By all accounts, the live stream worked perfectly. Family and friends were able to see and hear the ceremony without a hitch. Moreover, my wife and I barely even noticed them during the ceremony. They were very discrete. Reid also recorded the entire ceremony, reception, toasts, etc. He created a fabulous highlight video and provided raw footage that we will be able to relive for years to come.
