Best Night Ever DJ and Events

available, whether it was a quick call, a text, or a last-minute question, and responded so quickly every single time. You could genuinely feel how much he cared about making our day perfect. When we were struggling to choose songs for our first dance and other special moments, he didn’t just leave us to figure it out. He was sending us clips, videos, and ideas, helping guide us every step of the way. That level of support meant so much to us. On the wedding day, he was the best in flexibility. Things don’t always go exactly as planned, but he pivoted with us so seamlessly. He stayed positive, upbeat, and focused on keeping both us and our guests happy the entire time,  which made all the difference. And the vibes? Truly the best. From cheering us on as we walked down the aisle to handing us a drink the moment we came back up, he was more than just a DJ, he felt like a friend and a genuine supporter of our love. If you’re looking for someone who is the best in communication, flexibility, energy, and personality, Best Night Ever DJ lives up to the name in every way. We are so incredibly grateful 🤍

thorough and truly did an incredible job mixing in the songs we requested for the evening. He made us feel confident and celebrated and gave us an experience we cannot rave enough about. I don’t write many reviews, but I can’t go without letting everyone know that he is truly the real deal. Wedding planning is stressful, but if you want one less thing to stress about, choose BestNightEverDJ for your day!!! Seriously, Mike is without a doubt the best vendor to work with.

sure every special song was played, accommodated guest requests, and kept the dance floor alive. He also recorded videos throughout the reception. I would definitely recommend him for any event. Thank you Mike for everything you did for us on our special day! - Faith & Tristan

ng he provided for our reception was absolutely beautiful, creating the perfect atmosphere, and he even supplied a mic for our officiant during the ceremony. Mike’s attention to detail, energy, and dedication made our day unforgettable. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to make their wedding truly special and stay out on the dance floor all night long!

for my husband’s mother son dance & the garter toss, which was the best part of the wedding for me, so super grateful for that. The vibe was perfect, and we had a blast on the dance floor!

of songs and our guests thought it was the coolest thing ever. Can’t recommend enough- if you need a DJ in the area, this is the guy to use.

things we could consider. We had no idea that there were so many things to choose from! He then walked us through the list, gave suggestions on areas we did not know what to choose, and most of all, everything went without a hitch. He even led the crowd in a chant so our young daughter had more courage to do her dance in front of everyone. Everyone had such a great time dancing that we extended his time another hour! So we highly recommend Mike, the Best Night Ever DJ. Thank you Mike for being a key part of our forever marriage!

As the bride, I felt so supported because he took the time to really understand what we wanted, guided us through decisions, and kept us informed every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, he was incredible at bringing the party to life. He knew exactly how to read the crowd, keep the energy up, and make sure everyone—from our younger guests to our grandparents—had the best time on the dance floor. His involvement throughout the evening kept things flowing seamlessly, and it truly felt like he was not just a DJ, but also a key part of making the night unforgettable. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, personable, and genuinely invested in making your day perfect, this is the DJ to book!

d and I had a video chat with Mike. He walked us through the entire evening timeline so clearly that it actually helped me finalize my full schedule with my coordinator. He promised two things: 1, I’d always have a drink in my hand, and 2, he’d never give a guest the microphone without my approval, and he absolutely kept both promises! (Good thing, because one of my friends who went way off script during his ceremony reading tried to get the mic at the reception!) Mike also saved the day during the ceremony. My officiant is a dear friend (not her full-time job), and after I walked down the aisle, she forgot to ask everyone to sit. Without missing a beat, Mike quietly cued the guests to be seated — such a small but hugely important moment. The music was perfect, the energy was incredible, and Mike kept everything flowing seamlessly. If you want a DJ who does far more than just play music, someone who anticipates what you need, supports you behind the scenes, and makes the night unforgettable, Mike is your guy!

etting people on the dance floor and keeping them there. Pick Mike for your DJ!

ly in tune with what we wanted. Michael took the time to understand our vibe and created the perfect playlist that kept the dance floor packed the entire evening. He read the room effortlessly and made smooth transitions that kept the energy high from start to finish. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how great the music was. Several people said it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. Michael helped create the kind of night people do not forget. If you are looking for a DJ who is reliable, responsive, and genuinely passionate about what he does, book Michael. You will not regret it. He helped make our wedding one of the best nights of our lives.

s communication was amazing, and I never once felt stressed or out of the loop. He timed our ceremony perfectly and guided everyone — even the kids — like a total pro. He rolled with every last-minute change, acted like a day-of coordinator, and made sure everything flowed without a hitch. He even made sure my husband and I ate, which was such a thoughtful touch knowing how fast the night would fly. What meant the most to me was that Mike never once made me feel silly for any of my ideas or requests. Whether it was building in time for me to switch into a party dress or making sure the vibe matched our personalities, he embraced it all and made it happen seamlessly. He made us feel like total celebrities, and our guests had an absolute blast — they’re still raving about him and the photobooth! Mike didn’t just play music — he created the whole atmosphere. He took so much off our plate and made the day unforgettable. Truly can’t imagine our wedding without him.

opped, and every song hit the mark. He was genuinely helpful and attentive throughout the planning process and for our entire wedding day. He went out of his way to ensure everything ran smoothly and that our wedding was exactly what we dreamed of. We’re so grateful for his expertise, positive energy, and dedication. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding experience!

nowledgeable, personable, and passionate he was about what he does. We were early in the planning process and unsure about many details, especially since we were planning a destination wedding, but Mike immediately put us at ease. He offered helpful advice, vendor insight, and, most importantly, made us feel like we were in great hands from the start. Throughout the planning process, Mike was incredibly responsive, professional, and easy to work with. He helped us build a timeline that balanced flow and fun, created a custom photo booth template to match our style, and designed uplighting that truly elevated the look and feel of our venue. Just a few days before the wedding, I decided to change my aisle song because a new cover I loved had just been released. Mike made the switch happen seamlessly—while he was just returning from vacation, no less—and still ensured everything was ready to go. He also helped me surprise my groom by incorporating a voice recording into the ceremony before I walked down the aisle. That moment was so meaningful to us. When it came time to celebrate, Mike absolutely nailed the vibe. He curated an amazing playlist that blended our must-play songs with guest requests and knew exactly how to keep the energy high. The dance floor was packed for nearly two full hours. No one wanted to sit down, and the feedback we’ve gotten from our guests has been nonstop. Everyone keeps telling us how fun the reception was, how good the music was, and how unique and special the ceremony felt—and we credit all of that to Mike. Mike wasn’t just our DJ. He was a calm, reassuring presence, a timeline expert, and someone who truly cared about making our day the best it could be. He coordinated perfectly with our other vendors, honored every detail we requested, and made the entire experience feel personal and stress-free. His communication, flexibility, and talent made a huge impact on our day and helped make it the most magical night of our lives. If you’re considering Best Night Ever DJ, we couldn’t recommend Mike more. He went above and beyond in every possible way, and we’re so grateful he was part of our wedding.

phone call, Mike made us feel so comfortable. He listened to all my concerns, answered every question (sometimes within minutes of me texting him!), and truly helped bring my wedding vision to life. He wasn’t just a DJ — he was a huge part of making the night perfect. Mike helped us choose songs for special moments we hadn’t even thought about yet, kept the vibe absolutely perfect all night long, and somehow knew exactly when to switch up the style of music to keep everyone happy and on the dance floor. I had guests send song requests with their RSVPs, and Mike not only used those but also went around during the reception taking even more requests, which made everyone feel so involved and excited! One of my favorite moments was when we did a t-shirt toss instead of the traditional bouquet or garter toss — Mike helped us pick the perfect song to set the fun vibe we were hoping for. He even ran behind our guests with a bubble machine he provided himself during our grand exit — it was such a magical, unexpected touch! We also upgraded to include lighting, and Mike sent me a full list of color options just so I could pick the exact shade of pink I had envisioned (he really cared about the little details!). Mike was organized, punctual, and prepared with top-notch equipment — even bringing an extra microphone for our officiant without us even asking. Our guests absolutely loved him and kept talking about how great he was. What stands out the most is that while some DJs charge thousands for their services, Mike is incredibly reasonable and honest with his pricing — and you still get five-star service (if not better because he’s so personable, humble, and fun!). He made my husband and I feel completely at ease, never judged, and was reassuring throughout the entire planning process. If you are looking for someone who genuinely cares, will keep the energy perfect all night, and will make your wedding unforgettable — hire Mike! We can’t recommend him enough!!

our very first phone call, his professionalism and genuine involvement were evident. He didn't just ask about music; he offered insightful suggestions and clear explanations that showcased his extensive knowledge and experience. Thanks to him I found some of my other amazing vendors as well. What truly set Mike apart was that he went far beyond the typical duties of a DJ. So many of our guests actually asked if he was our wedding coordinator! He seamlessly integrated into the flow of the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. It was such a relief to have his proactive support, especially being so far from home. He made us feel like royalty! Of course, his DJ skills were also top-notch! He curated an amazing playlist that kept everyone dancing and having a fantastic time. Mike worked with our Mexican playlist which was nothing like what he had played before and did amazing ! He was more than just a DJ to us – he was an invaluable partner in making our wedding the best night ever! We wholeheartedly recommend his services at 1000%! If you're looking for a professional, knowledgeable DJ who goes above and beyond, look no further than Mike

choosing our DJ was the one decision I felt completely confident in. Best Night Ever DJ and Events was the first vendor we booked. Our venue was 2-3 hours outside of his usual area, but thankfully he was willing to make the trip because I’m not sure the wedding would have come together without him! He kept up communication with us from the first phone call, made sure we were staying on track of wedding planning, helped us with song ideas for the ceremony, reached out to our Day-of Coordinator to help finalize our timeline, and most importantly, kept me from going crazy. Lol He played all our favorite songs, put together a great playlist, took requests, and had everyone on the dance floor. We didn’t invite a ton of guests, so I was worried we’d end up with most sitting around and a few brave people awkwardly dancing in the center. But Mike had us all dancing and singing the whole night. I was getting texts for the rest of the weekend about how much fun our wedding was. Mike really did make it the Best Night Ever!

, from the lighting to engaging with guests, curating the perfect music mix, and even checking in to see if I needed anything throughout the day. He truly covered it all. Highly recommend!

n't get off the dance floor! He was also so friendly and attentive to make sure our special day was perfect.

a super easy survey to make sure that you and your spouse get everything you want out of your big day. He is professional, prompt, and truly the nicest guy. He was a joy to work with and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ

un was a fun extra touch.

f you have a good party crowd.

n delivering the best music for our day. While also having a beach wedding, we were even more confident with our ceremony sound quality. Best of all...the music was so good people jumped right in the pool to keep dancing :-) Professionalism and Communication Professionalism was evident from our first meeting. He was responsive, detail-oriented, and took the time to understand our vision for the big day. Music Selection With an impressive ability to read the crowd, Michael expertly mixed genres and eras, ensuring there was something for everyone. Sound and Lighting The sound quality was excellent, and Michael's lighting setup enhanced the ambiance of our little beach house venue perfectly. Flexibility When we had a last-minute change to our timeline, Michael adapted effortlessly, ensuring all our special moments happened without a hitch. The Dance Floor and Pool The consistently full dance floor was a testament to Michael's talent. Our guests, young and old, had an amazing time. Amazing enough they quite literally jumped into the pool!

r vibe and I can easily say it was met at our reception! Our guests have given us several compliments about how much fun they had, crediting some of that to him!

t table to table and got song requests from guests, got people excited to dance, perfectly executed the walk-down-the-aisle and recessional music, set the stage for the evening with his own equipment and customized lighting, made, made outstanding announcements to keep people and the event moving in the right direction, and had the dance floor going ALL NIGHT! This is how much Mike cares - he went and got us drinks and asked if we needed anything multiple times throughout the entire day. Even more, we found out the venue event coordinator quit a week before the wedding. Mike got on the phone with us quickly and said not to worry, “I got you covered.” Our guests raved about Mike Marshall, and you will too if you are in need of a five-star DJ. “You can tell he loves doing this.” “Who is this DJ - he’s great!” “We had so much fun at your wedding.”

help out with wedding timelines, give tips, and most importantly keep your wedding party rocking! Mike was the reason for our time-line coming out perfectly for ourselves and guests. We were all over the place with times and what we wanted.. Mike stepped up and said can I give you my suggestion. We are SO thankful for his advice to keep the night moving along, getting the important stuff done first to ensure we had plenty of party-dance time for two whole hours! He also surprised us with making a custom golf ball with our names on it (our theme was garden-golf) It was the sweetest gesture and warmed our hearts. He incorporated lighting near our columns of florals near the cake table truly making the cake stand out! Mike became more than a DJ - truly a friend. Our guests are still talking about Mike's charism and humor throughout the evening. He brought more than music to the table -- he announced where our guests traveled from and kept the crowd laughing with asking about old school AOL screennames. We were very concerned about not getting any time to eat during the wedding while we were at our sweet heart table and so graciously asked guests to let us have a few minutes to ourself. We were able to give Mike several songs for our ceremony, and reception entrance songs. My dad had a speech he wanted to make and as he was wrapping it up he wanted him to throw on a specific AC/DC song and Mike couldn't have timed that moment any better. For the reception my husband gave him a list of songs - not to play each one, just to get an idea of our style for the wedding.. and to add the cherry on top he went around to each table to ask for song requests. I've been to numerous weddings and have never seen such a kind gesture to incorporate our guests. Mike had our guests partying until the VERY end, and he was the reason why we have so many awesome videos captured to last a longtime. If you're looking for a DJ that doubles as a coordinator, and friend - look no more. Thank you, Mike! You MADE our day.

to the wedding and Mike worked with us to meet before the wedding to get to know us better and answer any questions. He is always quick to respond when I message him. For the wedding, we got everything from him-ceremony music, lighting for the reception, the monogram and photobooth. He did a wonderful job with each of these items. I loved the monogram on the wall and the guests rocked the photo booth and dance floor all night long. He kept the party going for sure. I appreciate the wedding planner for fixing our plates of food for us during the reception and for Mike grabbing our drinks for us so we didn't have to get up. It was nice to sit and relax at our sweetheart table after standing through a ceremony and then an hour of pictures before the reception started.

p notch he made all the planning so much easier for us and his song choice throughout the night was perfect. There were so many requests from every guest and yet Mike made everyone happy which I wouldn’t this was possible with so many people with different tastes. I don’t think anyone left the dance floor the entire night and that’s the most you can ask out of your dj. I will recommend Mike to anyone that needs music entertainment in South Carolina!

t we wanted out of our party, which truly translated into the success and fun that we had. There is nothing that we would change looking back on it, and would do it all over again the same.

t made us feel comfortable to know who was going to be there on the wedding day. During cocktail hour, we were taking photos and he came out of the venue to hand us drinks and check on us?! He did a better job at that than the coordinator lol.. I got multiple compliments on our dj from people of all ages throughout and after the event. After reading other raving reviews, that’s what helped me choose the Best Night Ever DJ for our special event and we were not disappointed! 10/10 recommend, we couldn’t appreciate him enough.

ther areas of wedding planning as well. He actually suggested a great photo opportunity for us to get a picture with each of our guests and everyone loved it!! At the end of the night, our guests could not stop raving about what a great DJ he is:) Mike is affordable, caring, professional, organized, detail oriented, and fun!! :) If you're looking for a DJ that will go above and beyond for your wedding, Mike is your guy!!

ere he told me all about himself and what he does / offers and immediately I had a good feeling about him. He just gives off such good vibes and actually loves what he does and it truly shows in his actions. Fast forward a few weeks later I decided to book, sent an email to Mike, and we set up a time to talk. Once we had a phone call, he sent his one page contract to me which I signed and sent back. Very straightforward and simple. Something you don’t come across often these days, most contracts are almost 5-10 pgs with complicated wording. Mike then sent me his “wedding planner tool” which lists everything you’ll need to make decisions on. About a year and half later my husband and I met up with mike to discuss everything to expect on the wedding day. Then that night he sent us his amazing very simple timeline of events. Mike gave us a lot of advice and answered a lot of our dumb questions along the way. He really knows his stuff and has done so many weddings, he knows what works well and what doesn’t work well. He will be upfront and honest but if you still want something different he will do whatever you want on your day. it’s nice to have someone like him during the wedding planning process who knows what the hell to do lol. During this 2 year planning process Mike, my husband and I actually became friends with the abundance of phone calls/ texts between us. Planning a wedding is not easy, especially ours which was 160 people and the venue only came with tables and chairs. We are extremely fortunate to have found Mike at that bridal expo because he sure is a diamond in the ruff. A few other things mike did for us: 1. during our cocktail hour when we were taking photos he got us a drink and then stood there with our drink on the side running in to give us a sip on pose changes 2. He communicated with us the entire night 3. He got us food and drinks during dinner and guarded our table so we didn’t get bombarded while we ate - this was HUGE. something my wedding coordinator should have been doing but she wasn’t so Mike stepped in. Another one of those things he knows happens at weddings and is prepared for. 4. He won’t let anybody do any crazy things on the microphone before asking you first. My aunt actually asked to sing my husband and I a song on the microphone. We said yes and it was terrible but point is that Mike double checked with us first. I could go on at the abundance of things Mike did for us on our wedding day. We highly highly recommend you book Mike for your wedding RIGHT NOW! seriously no need to keep looking because this is your guy. We love you Mike thank you again for everything and never forget when in doubt “mikes got you” Love, The Eberts

he said “let’s make it happen!” with no hesitation. He was constantly checking on us to make sure we were good on drinks and if we needed anything. He even fixed my dress bustle for me a couple of times and came in handy with this wire to keep it in place!! This man can do it all!

ed and I was right to fell that way. He is dedicated to the success of an event and it shows. We’re very grateful for the attention to detail; his ability to do whatever he can, even on the fly, to tailor your event to what you want and love is apparent. We had the best night ever 🙌🏻

e bringing us drinks during our photos and making sure we had the Best Night Ever!! If I could have my wedding 100 times, I would hire Mike every single time!! HUGE thanks for creating and including our Monogram that all the guests loved!

the stress out of the music choosing process and can also provide insight to wedding details you may not think about just through his experience in doing them. If you are looking for a DJ I cannot recommend him enough. You will not be disappointed. He even went the extra mile to capture pictures and videos after our photographer left.

playing all types of music. There was not a single dull moment and EVERYONE loved him! Our photographer even left before our last private dance and he made it a point to get pictures and a video for us! He made sure leading up to the wedding, I was calm as the bride and offered any help he could. We will be using him again in the future for ANYTHING that may need music! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!

answered all of our questions. His experience was invaluable, and our discussions really helped us hone in on our vision. He blended songs perfectly, customized the music selection to what we wanted, and even incorporated our guests' suggestions! He was also flexible in maneuvering and keeping the dance floor alive and was able to make sure our little personal checklist of songs made it into the night even when we hit a time crunch! His communication way before the wedding and the day of was fantastic, he made sure everything ran well the day of, the speeches and all! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ, he really did way surpass our expectations and delivered exactly what we hoped for! He was a crucial cog in our wedding machine and the experience was all the more better because of his invaluable contributions and experience. You can't go wrong here!

provide, and got us soo excited to work with him. After the conversation, it was a definitely for us that we wanted him as our DJ. Finding a DJ for a wedding is a stressful thing - you can’t really “test them out” - you just have to trust that they’re great and find out if they live up to that day of. But let me tell y’all - Michael is AMAZING and does just that and sooo much more. He is super laid back, listened to what we wanted, and got the party GOING! He truly didn’t miss a beat - everything we asked for, he pulled through with on his end. It is also so stressful with wedding planning trusting a lot of vendors to do what they say they will do, but with Michael, I can assure you it will all be done and it will all be done great! From the ceremony set up, ceremony music/mics, to cocktail hour, to the dance floor - everything was perfect! And the BEST bang for your buck - everything is provided and he doesn’t charge extra for the “extras,” yet essentials, like a microphone or the dance floor lights. He includes it all in his very reasonable price. He caught all the vibes and kept the party going allll night long! He even got my husband and I refills on our drinks, took lots of videos/photos for us throughout the night, and was great and checking in with us without being too overbearing. Also, I think it is important to add he didn’t try to make our wedding a “presentation” or a “show” like a lot of DJs seem to do. He wasn’t talking over the mic constantly or trying to get people hype by talking to the crowd. I literally cannot say enough good things about him - I want to refer him to everyone I know! If you need a DJ for ANY event, choose Michael with Best Night Ever DJ and Events! You will NOT regret it!! We love him!!!! Photos: his DJ booth set up and the uplights provided by him around our reception hall (so beautiful)

great!!! So I looked at his reviews and the amazing things people said about him made me book him right away. He was so helpful throughout the whole process and even made our rehearsal(we were lost on how it would flow). He guided us through the whole process because believe me he knows what he’s doing!!! He offered us drinks when he saw we didn’t have anything, talked to the guest not on a microphone behind his booth but out at the tables and ultimately just rocked!! My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend mike!!

ried!

ew that when we got married we would hire Mike! From the ceremony and cocktail hour music, to the lighting and the reception music, Mike does a phenomenal job. He is incredibly detail oriented and made sure to run through things with us so everything went as we hoped! Mike went above and beyond to make our day special. My husband is not much of a dancer, but any time we are at an event and Mike is the DJ, he is dancing all night! Mike had every guest on the dance floor, and even helped coordinate passing out our glow sticks. Highly recommend Mike for the Best Day Ever!
