Hiring Paul to officiate our wedding was the best decision. He was super friendly and easy to coordinate with. The ceremony flowed so well. Paul was incredibly charismatic and well spoken. Our guests all commented on how great he was. We cannot recommend him enough!

I had an amazing experience with The Best Wedding Officiant. I found them through a google search, and after reading over their services I knew I wanted them to help with my elopement. I contacted them, and I received a response in less than 24 hours. They were extremely helpful with the process, and I did not have to do anything really. They were very accommodating, especially when I had to move my wedding date, and running late on the actual day. The location was beautiful, and the ceremony was simple (which I preferred) but Paul made it special, and I appreciated that. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for an elopement. I got married 09/13/2023.

My (now) husband and I decided not to pursue someone we knew to be the one to marry us. What a mistake. It’s been almost a month since we’ve gotten married and we cannot shake how disappointed we are. We found ‘the greatest officiant’ online and met with our officiant, Paul Camuto. We spent countless hours crafting emails, blueprints and even zoomed in with him a few times. We expressed the importance of how much our wedding ceremony meant to us and how we wanted it to reflect an intimate, serious, and well-rehearsed vibe. Instead, we got an unrehearsed, jumbled and rushed mess. Our wedding was a black-tie affair and Mr. Camuto showed up in chinos and a sweater. He brought out a large iPad to read off of yet STILL managed to botch and stumble upon the script that WE wrote- and rather than stopping and finding his place- he just kept going with it(!) Some of his sentences didn’t even make sense. The entire reading felt like one strung together sentence. The actual moment of him marrying us felt rushed and insincere. Aside from this extremely disappointing situation, our wedding was fantastic. The reception made up for everyone’s side commentary on how bad our officiant was- and we’re not kidding; EVERYONE noticed. If there is one thing we can say to anyone getting married: do NOT use Paul Camuto, but better yet stay away from this company.

Paul was awesome!! We had so many wedding guest come up to us after our ceremony asking us how long we have known Paul and they couldn’t believe that we had just met him the day prior. He made our ceremony incredibly personal but also kept it short and sweet (exactly what we had asked for)! We highly recommend him to officiate your wedding!

We used Paul for our ceremony and our experience was fantastic. Leading up to the wedding, Paul was very kind, responsive, and organized. During the ceremony, I felt very at ease when he spoke—he used a perfect, warm tone with a touch of lightheartedness that my family later complimented as well. We also added a poem to our ceremony that he read, and it was a beautiful addition!

We had Paul as our officiant and he was great to work with! I wanted something lowkey and non religious for our ceremony and he did exactly what I asked for. He showed up right on time for the ceremony and sprinkled in some humor into the ceremony reading so it felt super natural. He didn't even need to read off a script or anything. Afterwards, some guests asked how we knew the officiant as if he was close to us and they were surprised that we had simply hired him and had never met him in person until the wedding.

I got married 12/3/22 and Paul was literally my dream officiant! I was looking for something super simple, as both my husband and I hate public speaking. Paul was phenomenal! We got to meet with him a few months prior to discuss what we wanted for our ceremony. He was able to personalize it to really celebrate who my husband and I are together. For somebody who was overwhelmed by the planning process, Paul helped make planning the ceremony, getting our marriage license sent out, and officially becoming married nice and easy! The officiant that was assigned to our wedding was nice but he stumbled through the entire reading. Also we asked for 2 changes to be made to our personalized wording and those changes were not made for the day of. Also pricing on website is not super accurate, pricing can vary depending on season.

We had Owen help us with our cermony and we could not have dreamt for everything to go as smoothly as it did. Of all the things I had to worry about on my wedding day, our officiant most certainly did not fall on that list. We met with Owen a month prior via Zoom and we went over the changes we wanted to make to our “spiel”. He was open, receptive, showed up on time and really ensured that everything dlowed smoothly. You won’t regret hiring Paul to officiate your wedding! Paul has an uncanny ability to bring you so much peace in one of the most anxiety inducing moments. Paul was a respectful, light, and thoughtful officiant. He was very easy to work with and very helpful in navigating what we wanted for our ceremony. He will share with you a script, but the best moments of our ceremony were when he reacted to what me and my husband were doing. He really knows how to command a room. I do recommend the rehearsal add on as well. At a minimum, you can get your license paperwork done in advance and don’t need to worry about it day-of - trust me that is worth its weight in gold!

We are beyond displeased with Best Wedding Officiant. After postponing our large wedding ceremony and reception due to the pandemic, my husband and I were finally able to celebrate our love with our family and friends in July 2021. My husband and I were excited to partner with Paul for our ceremony. After meeting with Paul and a few other officiants, we felt that Paul's style best suited our vision and we asked him to be the officiant for our big day. We had the one initial meeting via Skype and corresponded with Paul via the occasional email for the rest of the planning process. Paul was helpful throughout the process and worked with us through two date changes due to the pandemic. Things went downhill fast as our wedding date finally approached. The week of our wedding, I received an email from Paul followed by a text message informing us that he would no longer be officiating our wedding. He offered to have a colleague stand in for him. We were shocked to receive this communication for quite a few reasons. It was the week of our wedding and to get this change last minute was jarring. We specifically wanted to work with Paul because we enjoyed our video meeting with him and felt that he understood our vision. To be jostled to an officiant we’d never met at the last minute right before our wedding did not sit well with us. I'm sure the other officiant is good at what he does but we certainly did not want our first meeting with him to be at the alter! Not to mention that Paul did not call us with this change to give us a warm introduction to the stand-in officiant so that we could at least share with him our story as a couple. When we expressed our concerns to Paul he offered to move things around so that he could officiate our wedding and have his colleague officiate the wedding he had bumped us for. Paul said that he forgot that we met virtually and he didn’t realize that having him officiate our wedding meant anything to us. At this point, we were not comfortable with Paul officiating our ceremony. He is in a business where emotional intelligence is critical and to be unaware that a couple would care about who officiates their wedding ceremony is appalling. We asked Paul to return our $265 deposit as we no longer felt comfortable partnering with Best Wedding Officiant; however, Paul was unwilling to return our money. In the end, we lost the deposit and Paul profited for one 30-minute video call and a few email exchanges. To my now husband and I, the lost money was worth it in order to have our ceremony officiated by someone who cared. Our wedding was low priority for Best Wedding Officiant. This was evidenced by the fact that they bumped our wedding the week of to accommodate another wedding. If Paul had called us to discuss the changes that would have made us feel like he at least cared to some extent. We are very shocked and disheartened by our experience with Best Wedding Officiant.

Honestly did not know what to expect by hiring an officiant for our wedding but let me just say from the very first conversation I knew he was the prefect fit for our day. Once the day arrived he did not disappoint everyone loved him and continued to speak highly of him weeks after our wedding which was this past November. Paul was our officiant for our wedding 8/8/20. Endless emails to him were always answered within the hour. I had to change my date a few times since Covid and each time he made the necessary adjustments and assured me that everything was “all good, no worries”. The day of the wedding he was prompt and patient as we were still awaiting guests. His energy and professionalism were felt and seen that day. Paul was very accommodating and understanding during COVID-19. He was flexible to make sure we got what we wished for so that we can be married on the date we originally planned. Paul is a professional officiant. Always great to work with him. He takes his job seriously but also knows how to add some humor and keep things fun.

I reached out for more info to Paul and a few other officiants. I ended up booking with someone else. Paul continued to call and text me daily to the point of harassing me, going so far as to ask me if "I called off my wedding" as a reason why I wasn't returning his calls. I asked him to please stop contacting me and told him that I felt it was very disrespectful to ask me if my wedding was called off - and he continued to call/text me several more times asking if I still needed an officiant. I ended up having to block his number to make it stop. VERY unprofessional.

Paul was awesome to work with. My Husband and I wanted a super simple ceremony right at Crystal Point Yacht Club. Paul was quick to respond with email and texts with any questions I had. He has plenty of samples to choose from and we were able to customize the ceremony to fit our style. He had everyone attendance laughing at one point but also I could tell everyone was really listening to what he had to say and appreciated him as well. We spoke with Paul a few times over the phone and corresponded via email to nail down the ceremony. He gave us flexibility in making any changes we wanted and included parts that were special to us as a couple and family. He was fabulous on wedding day. I don't know where to begin with this, besides the false advertising of his name "Best wedding officiant" lets start with about 6 months ago when Paul was emailing my wife once a week to see when and if we were going to book him I will give him credit there he was very persistent, so last month we finally decided to book him for our wedding, so we used PayPal to pay Paul, after we paid him we realized we over paid him, not by much only by 25 dollars so my wife emailed Paul to let him know that we over paid him he responded with "I gave you guys the deal of a life time so the overage you paid me pretty much covers the taxes" could not believe the response we just received gave us both a terrible taste in our mouth but at this point we were too close to the wedding and he was already on our marriage license so we took it on the chin. IT GETS WORSE lets fast forward to sunday 10/22/17 the day me and my wife tie the knot the most important day of our lives.... our wedding was set to start at 4pm the venue didn't have us walk out until 430 to make sure everyone was there for us to walk out.... 4pm comes around Paul has the nerve to go to the bridal suite and grab my wife and complain to here that the ceremony was supposed to start at 4 not 430 and that he had another wedding that was booked and now were going to cut into there time, she apologized and stated it was not our fault, (never once said anything to me by the way) lets fast forward to 430pm, were at the alter his saying his things we get to the vows Paul completely shortened our vows and left out everything except for once line for us to repeat our ceremony was no longer then 5 minutes..... I can not make any of this up he was a complete joke we didn't let him ruin our day but he was so bad even the venue the Hamilton manor who referred him apologized deeply for how much a joke this guy was and took him off of their vendor list please people don't trust this guy he was completely unprofessional and down right terrible Please take your time to read this it s a big day for people don't let someone like this guy ruin it he even gave him self a good google review referring to him self in third person praising himself should have been the first red flag

TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. I honestly can not believe the great reviews this Officant has. They really fooled me! I had a terrible feeling about this officiant since the first day I gave into him begging for our business. When dealing with all the payments it takes to plan a wedding, I accidentally overpaid him. When I brought it to his attention he told me “That about covers the tax I have to pay. I typically charge 500 so you are getting the deal of the lifetime”. On my actual wedding day he pulled me out of my Bridal suite to complain about the ceremony not starting at 4... it was 4:08 when he complained. He told me that he doubled booked weddings and that the other bride would have to suffer because of me. During my ceremony he cut out our vows. COMPLETELY OUT. We said no vows. Every single one of my guest pointed out how completely unprofessional he was and could tell something was not right. My venue could not believe the lack of professionalism he had and due to his actions he is completely off the vendors list. Please do not be fooled by these great reviews like I was.

Paul was great! He helped my husband and I customize our ceremony exactly how we wanted it. He was so accommodating and understanding of all my crazy changes. I'm so happy we didn't have a typical ceremony and it was unique to us. He did such a great job and we can't thank him enough!

Paul was very flexible and came earlier as requested, to sign our Marriage license before the ceremony to make our day run smoother.
