Hired Robin and Janine for my wedding on May 5th, 2022. We initially had a zoom call last year and we all seemed to really click, so I hired them. As time went on, it was a bit hard to get a hold of them in attempts to discuss the day of music and what not. That was understandable, considering it is one of the busiest wedding seasons. I eventually got a chance to inform them of what specific songs we wanted for our ceremony. Fast forward to the day of, the ceremony begins, my nervous husband tells them it’s the wrong song (he was wrong- it actually was the right song) So, in my opinion, once this happened they should have stopped everything and all music to confirm with the bride and groom exactly what should be played. Instead, they guessed and played a random Cat Stevens song that no one ever told them to play. This then caused the situation to get worse, and more chaotic. Then they changed the music again mid-song to the song that I (the bride) was supposed to walk down to. However, the wedding party was only half way down the isle. So the timing was completely off. I understand mistakes happen, but I believe they handled this issue in a very inexperienced and unprofessional way. This was one of the most important moments I had been looking forward to for the past two years. Over and over this played in my head as the day grew closer. To add insult to injury, neither Robin or Janine apologized for the mishaps or their mistakes (and still haven’t!). I think this outcome could have totally been avoided if they were more experienced and better with communicating.
