Beth photographed my sister's wedding, and there is simply no question who I would pick for my wedding. Beth and Jeremy met virtually with my husband and I throughout the process to ensure they understood our vision and what was important for our wedding. Beth works with you early and throughout the planning process, which I grateful appreciated. Beth will send you a photography planning form for you to fill out in order to schedule family portraits and pairings with the right people. This takes a while to fill out, but worth it in the end when you don’t have to think twice about photos the day of your wedding.
When we met for the engagement sessions, Beth had many different ideas for cute poses that we never would have thought of. She made a bench area outside of a YMCA look like a fall garden! Beth will share a few key photos as you wait for the whole collection, which was fun to share with family and friends on Instagram.
Beth is extremely easy-going, flexible, and friendly. Two examples of Beth exhibiting flexibility were working with me to capture photos with key friends during the reception and incorporating a first look late in the game. She has a great professional reputation, which was evident when my excited videographer learned who he was working with!

They were so wonderful to work with. They were set-up and ready to go prior to their start time. They maintained a nice and calming presence throughout the entire day, and this included corralling our large wedding party and family for portraits. The wedding party included kids that were not interested in taking pictures, but they gained their trust and made it fun for them.
The pictures themselves were beautifully edited, included a variety of poses so they didn’t all look the same, and really captured every moment from all different angles.
Big tip: Hire a wedding photographer that will return your pictures quickly, just like Beth Sumners Photography did! Beth edited and returned the engagement pictures in a few days and the wedding photos in less than two weeks. I was so impressed!
Beth did an amazing job capturing our special day! The family, ceremony, and bride and groom photos were all wonderful. Thanks to her, our memories will last a lifetime.

She has made every session fun, even those where our little one wasn't cooperating. Somehow she always manages to get a smile from him even on his crankiest days. The turnaround time for all the photos was reasonable, and I was very pleased with the pictures we received. If you have no experience with being professionally photographed, don't stress - Beth gives good, specific directions and I told my husband that I actually felt relaxed at the end of our photography sessions.
