I favor a romantic style of photography with a touch of photojournalism. I'll travel anywhere for a wedding, just say the word!
I'm also a huge dog lover, a tattoo enthusiast (I have two!), love the beach and the mountains, and have a serious case of wanderlust. Want to get married somewhere amazing? I'm so there.

d my husband didn’t want the classic overly posed wedding photos. Bethany delivered everything beyond what we could imagine in just our engagement photos. We received so many compliments on those, and we didn’t even have wedding photos yet! Leading up to the wedding, Bethany was very communicative and open to answering any questions I had. She worked with me to create a timeline leading up to the wedding and helped build my own confidence as we approached the wedding. Her and her second shooter, Nicole, arrived early to scout out our venue and start taking photos. When we had a few issues with other vendors, they immediately jumped into help which was beyond what I could have ever expected. As I was panicking they assisted with everything and helped to calm me down and reassume me about the rest of the day. Bethany truly kept me grounded through the madness. Once we got to start taking photos, all the worried melted away. Bethany is so easy to work with and made all the photos so fun to take. I received several compliments from guests at the wedding about how kind Bethany is, which is one of the reasons we hired her. Apparently Bethany did not sleep that night, as we received a sneak peak of our photos the day after our wedding, to which we have received non stop compliments of how beautiful they are. Bethany is absolutely amazing and I could not recommend her more! Thank you for capturing all the most special moments of our big day.

wedding photos from Bethany. Do not hire any other photographer in the metro Washington, DC area if you want crystal clear, flattering, well-composed, and gorgeous photos of your wedding. Bethany is a delight to work with. She is calm, patient, considerate, and a delight. She and her second shooter captured every conceivable aspect of our wedding that made it special to us and our guests. Bethany did it all with a smile. It was a huge relief to find a photographer who exceeded our highest hopes for a partner in preserving images of our day. We could not recommend Bethany more highly—we look forward to calling on her again as soon as we can.

rm up, Bethany was kind enough to include our Engagement Photos. Once we saw the quality of those photos, we knew we wouldn’t be disappointed with how our Wedding photos were going to turn out. Personally, I wasn’t into the vintage filter trend that most photographers in the area were doing. Don’t get me wrong, they look nice, but I wanted something that was crisper and highlighted our special day by capturing the natural colors and light in our wedding environment. My wife and I each had our own photographers during period of the day. Bethany went with my wife, while her second shooter was with me. They both were professional, and had excellent communication but more importantly made us feel relaxed and comfortable during the whole day. Cracking jokes, and making suggestions for fun memorable photographs. Bethany and her team were also very creative with the still life photos, posing photos, and candid photos. We liked the natural lighting that she was able to capture. There was definitely a lot of thought and attention to detail throughout the day that is absolutely showcased in our wedding photos. If you decide to choose Bethany, you’ll be well taken care of and be amazed by the final product!!

was helpful as I was sporadic in my wardrobe decisions and she guided me to pick what I was most comfortable in. She spent the afternoon with us as we ventured to several locations and had an adventure in the mountains to find the perfect sunset. Our favorite images came from a sunflower field and also the mountain sunset silhouette (it looks great on canvas, by the way). I would highly recommend Bethany 110% for her sense of adventure, fun personality that is up for anything, and the quality of the images she provided that captured our love!
