Beth did a wonderful job shortening my lace gown for my granddaughter’s wedding. It was a challenging job but she nailed it!!

I had a dress that was very frumpy and unflattering. Beth took the dress up and made it so flattering! She made the appointment very comfortable even with COVID! Masks, hand sanitizer etc.

Beth did a great job capturing my vision of my wedding dress! I loved it, she was very easy to work with and quick with getting the alterations done!

Beth listened to what I wanted done with the dresses I brought to her and she delivered! Will use her services again!

I can not say enough about the the amazing alterations! I wish I could give Beth ten stars!!!! I bought my wedding dress the first day, I went shopping with my mom and sister. When I bought my dress I knew I needed alterations. The top of my dress had a sheer lining to it and I wanted it to be more conservative (a white fabric added). Also, I needed the top of my dress to be altered to fit my chest, a bustle, and hem. After doing some research on dress alterations, I decided to go with Beth's in Stitches. I brought my wedding dress into her a few months prior to my May wedding. Beth was so sweet! She started off looking at my dress and listening to my thoughts on what I wanted to change. Then she started by showing me what she thought would be necessary to achieve the look and alterations I was requesting. It was finally a week before my wedding and I needed to pick up my wedding dress. Due to COVID-19, we wanted to practice social distancing. Beth, made wonderful arrangements for me to come and pick up my dress contactless and told me to text her right after I tried it on. The minute I got home, I tried my dress on and my dress did not fit in the chest area. I immediately called Beth to inform her of the situation and she told me to come back to her house. Beth was amazing at making my dress fit again. She added some new stitching to the chest area and worked on the fabric she added on the top to make the dress white (not sheer). This may have been a brides WORST nightmare a week before her wedding. Beth was incredible and fixed it while I sat at her house!!!! Beth was amazing and her pricing was reasonable, too! Beth is a magical dress wizard :) I would highly recommend Beth's in Stitches.

Beth was recommended to me from a friend who had used her for her and her daughters dresses. It was a bit of a drive for me, but after contacting her and looking through her portfolio and reviews, I was sold! I had a dress that I brought to her for my May 2, 2020 destination wedding in Grand Cayman. Then Covid-19 hit the world and we had to cancel our wedding. We decided on a Friday to get married 48 hours later and I was on the phone with Beth to break the news. She was so extremely accommodating, she was able to shorten my dress and add my corset within the next less than 24 hours. She let me come pick it up and it was BEAUTIFUL. Everything I could have hoped for. She's so reasonably priced and very easy to work with, I will absolutely recommend her to everyone who needs alterations.

Beth is TRULY a magic woman! To be completely honest my “happy tears, found the dress of my dreams” moment wasn’t until my first fitting with Beth. My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous but, as being a smaller girl, even when I picked up my dress ordered in my size (8 sizes smaller than what I tried on) it just wasn’t “the one”. My mom and I dropped it off at Beth’s in Sitches and I said good luck! I live in North Carolina but my dress was bought in the Twin Cities as my wedding was taking place in Minnesota. She was so understanding and able to work with the time between fittings (I talked to some dress alterers who wouldn’t work with me because I couldn’t meet their time schedule between fittings). When I came back for my first fitting I had such happy tears knowing it was “the one” I wanted to marry my future husband in. After my final fitting I was so in love with my dress I wanted to wear it every day all day. Beth hemmed layer after layer after layer, was able to adjust the most delicate and sheer fabric of my shoulders, and added the simplest but most elegant and functional French bustle with what seemed with such ease. Each time meeting her my mom and I became to know her as friends as well as a team mate to make my dreams come true. I can’t thank you enough, Beth!

Beth has always been so helpful when it comes to dress alterations. She is very personal and listens to exactly what you want. She has done an amazing job with anything I have given her to alter. I used Beth’s In Stitches to do alterations for bridesmaids dresses twice. Both times she did great, quick work. She even was able to add a corset to a dress that didn’t fit right. She has a cute, relaxing room she does her work in. I would recommend her to anyone!
