Myself and the groom felt so comfortable in front of the camera, and the photos really reflect that. Both Betsy and John also have a great eye for detail, with clean lines and absolutely no disarray. Finally, all of the photos are bright, full of life, and really captured our event, as if you were there again. LOL They captured every moment from that day that we would've ever wanted and to this day we still have friends and family members commenting on how amazing the pictures turned out. didn't miss a beat. The hotel my fiancé and I got ready at was hosting a 100+ person wedding the day of our elopement. Because of this, Betsy had to get creative with the "getting ready" and "first look" shooting locations. I remember our wedding planner saying, "I'm not worried about Betsy. She could take great photos anywhere." And she definitely demonstrated that. Also, when we decided to elope, we had a little over a month to plan everything. Thank goodness, Betsy was available for our day because I could not be happier with her work. Prior to your photos, she'll take the time to get to know you and your partner and find out what kind of shots best fit your couple style. She even made my "bad side" look great! I cannot say enough great things about Betsy. From the ease of signing the contract and making payments, to how comfortable she makes your feel in from of the camera, she is just fantastic!

I was in the "no idea what I want" category, and I was stressed out about it. But Betsy and John are super knowledgable and passionate about weddings and photography, and they are so sweet and laid back, that everything felt natural and enjoyable. Living in New York we thought we would need to forego engagement photos, but Betsy and John brought up the possibility of coming to us and we are eternally grateful they were game to take off a September weekend and come visit the Big Apple! We had the best weekend hanging out and showing them a few of our favorite spots, and (in my biased opinion) our engagement photos are stunning. Every time we look at them we are blown away by Betsy and John's ability to capture us, our love, plus the city we love! They put us at such ease during the shoots--it was easy to trust them and feel comfortable following Betsy's amazing direction to make sure we looked our best :) Our wedding photos are equally breathtaking. From the detail shots to the dancing, they documented the love and joy of the evening to perfection. Beyond the amazing photos themselves, which we and our families will treasure forever, the next-level thoughtfulness of Betsy and John's sweet notes, emails, and gift boxes was incredible. Not only did they accommodate for all of the different areas we wanted to take photos, they made sure we kept to our timeline and were back to the reception on time. Obviously, their business is their livelihood, but it is so much more! They are passionate about their work and their couples. My husband and I felt so comfortable in front of their cameras. We were also able to do an engagement shoot before our wedding which I really enjoyed, because Betsy & John were able to get to know us before the big day. They are great with communication; are always prompt in responding. Not only are they wonderful photographers, but they are also wonderful people. I have to say, they were our favorite wedding vendor to work with! Not only did we gain BEAUTIFUL pictures, but we also gained a wonderful friendship with Betsy & John.
