sure I looked and felt as beautiful as possible for the big day. We met a few times for further fittings and consultations and were all set to have my dress ready by June. Then in late January, my fiance got very sick. Not wanting to postpone any possible surgeries or treatments, and not wanting to push back our wedding, we decided to move the wedding up to late March. As we began adjusting our plans, I was heartbroken when I realized I will likely have to figure something else out for my dress with now less than two months till the wedding. I called Betsy and told her about the situation, and asked if she could possibly make me a very simple dress, or even alter another one for me, knowing there may not even be enough time for that with such short notice. She was so understanding of our situation, and to my relief said: “We’ll make it work!”. She worked tirelessly to make sure that I could still have my dream dress in time for the wedding, and was always so kind and compassionate toward my future husband and I during his health struggles. Betsy is wonderful! Not only is she one of the most talented people I have ever met, but she is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I came away from our consultations with not just my dream dress, but a close and cherished friend. There’s no one quite like Betsy. You couldn’t choose better!

e dress needed some altering. Little did we understand exactly how much. The entire top of the dress needed to be recreated and the lace would be a challenge to find and match plus the lace was no longer a true white color. Betsy assured us, changes could be made and would not sacrifice the beauty of the original dress. She searched high and low from East to West coast for lace. We had given up hope and then a miracle. Lace was found with a vendor that Betsy works with. My daughter and I picked apart the top saving the lace and all the buttons. The dress was taken from short to long sleeve and the lace from the original dress was hand sewn to the new lace to create the new top. Betsy was always on time, warm and welcoming. Her attention to detail, and creativity made the beauty of the dress flawless. Everything my daughter wanted. She was absolutely radiant and glowing on her wedding day. My Mother is no longer with us but I have no doubt she was extremely happy as I was, seeing her granddaughter in the dress from 1963. skirt getaway dress underneath! She was spectacular! The design progressed as Betsy got to know me, helped me pick fabric to match my skin tone, and added details that fit my personality as well. My dress had a lace back, which I love and is gorgeous, but I didn't want my underwear to show. I wore a Nude Lizzy Slip under my dress and no one could tell the difference; it was light, flexible, and didn't stick to my skin or get caught in my armpits. She seriously is a one stop shop! It would have been the same cost for me to buy a dress and alter it, but I never would have gotten what I dreamed up with Betsy! She worked magic within my budget.

ging- I wanted to use my mom's dress, but I didn't like very much about it! Elizabeth worked with me every step of the way to transform the dress into something that I genuinely love! Elizabeth is very professional, creative, and extremely talented. She made me feel totally at ease with something that held a lot of tension and emotion for me. She is very easy to communicate with and her prices are very fair. Can't emphasize enough how great Besty Couture is! I consider myself extremely lucky to have found her!

id a LOT of research and decided to go to Betsy. That was the best decision I could have made. She was very upfront about everything (what we could do, what we couldn't, and the pricing). The amount of beading and layers on my dress didn't make her job easy but my dress turned out perfect!! She charges by the hour which I really appreciated. I feel like some other places rush through their work and are going to charge you the same fee regardless. Pricing ended up being right at about what I was expecting and hoping to pay when I first bought the dress to Betsy and the dress came out better than I could have imagined!

I didn’t realize how many different fabrics there were to choose from but with the help of Betsy we came up with the perfect fabric. Betsy was very flexible with my schedule. She made sure to tell me what our next appointment would involve and what to bring. She had so many great tips. My dress is so beautiful and has personal details that are perfect for me. I was sad when it was my last final fitting. I told Betsy I have enjoyed our time so much together that I didn’t want it to be my final fitting. She is very welcoming to family and friends at the dress fitting. 5 stars!

Plus, when some stitching came undone after bridals and before the wedding, she happily had us bring it by to fix at no extra charge (even though them coming undone was my fault). o before my wedding I started panicking that my dress might be too long. Betsy took the time to meet with me again in her studio to look at the length again. It ended up being the perfect length the day of - she knew what she was doing! Weddings can be stressful and you want everything to be perfect and it was so great for her to take the time to meet with me again and make sure I was 100% happy. The dress was perfect on the day of, I wouldn't have changed a thing!
