About this vendor
After shooting weddings for 15 years, I now focus on my brides! I always loved photographing women on their wedding day and often did a little boudoir session while they were getting ready. It was wonderful to capture that energy and excitement behind the scenes and away from the stress of the day–to remind them how beautiful they were inside and out. Now I've taken all those years of photographing women and focused my attention on boudoir photos that capture all the beautiful things you are on the INSIDE. This is so much more than pretty pictures! This is a journey of self-love and self-care that will be a gift for you AND your fîancé. I can't wait to chat with you more and celebrate this special time in your life!

I did a Google search for a photographer for my 55th birthday shot, and this company popped up. I had never heard of 'boudoir.' I was excited to get my appointment and appreciated ...
her explaining each step (as a vulnerable newbie). Later, I enjoyed looking at my proofs and the many options. Thanks for capturing my joy and gratitude to God as I celebrated my birthday, my beautiful self, the journey, and how far I've come. My first tattoo says it all... pain2peace. I would love to do this again but will surely have a significant other make that financial investment next time. 😄
La Vida Creations was one of the first vendors we nailed down for our wedding. We booked them because we had heard good things about their work and knew that they packaged engageme...
nt photo sessions with wedding day photography services. But mostly, we booked them because we cared very much about the quality of the pictures that would be taken on our special day, and we knew La Vida could deliver. The memories we have of our engagement photo session and our wedding day are the best of our lives, and when we look at the pictures they become that much more vivid and real. We have La Vida to thank for that and so much more.
All of the La Vida photographers are extremely personable people who care about you as a couple and know that the only way they're going to get amazing photos is if you feel comfortable around them. The best example of this is their requirement to do an engagement session with their couples prior to the wedding day. Not only do you get amazing photos out of the session, but the whole time they are taking note of how you interact with each other as a couple - your dynamic, unspoken gestures and quirks. Those are the things that make your photos yours, and not just generic couples photos. When they arrive to shoot on your wedding day, they have learned those things that make you unique as a couple and their photos reflect that uniqueness - from the first shot to the last. It is not hard to get comfortable around all of the La Vida photographers because they are so outgoing, friendly and fun!
During the wedding, La Vida creations was extremely professional and prepared. They came to the wedding knowing all of the shots that we wanted (after we had done their homework e-mailed to us about a month prior) and all of the names of important family and friends. We had a crazy amount of pictures we wanted before the ceremony and I can't believe how efficiently we breezed through them all. Even the picture with three siblings, three in-laws, seven children under five years old, and parents went quickly. Best of all they made it fun!
For the non-staged pictures, La Vida Creations mastered the art of being a fly on the wall and capturing true emotions. We honestly couldn't be happier with the quality (and quantity) of pictures delivered to us after the event. Additionally, La Vida works very efficiently to get your pictures post-processed and uploaded to a very professional (and password protected) website which allows you to download one, multiple or all of the pictures at once for your personal use. The accessibility of the pictures was very important to us, and La Vida Creations is great about letting you do whatever you wish with your photos - although they also have some amazing photo-book packages that are going to be great for a future anniversary!
In short, going with La Vida Creations was the best decision we made for our wedding. Everything else - the food, the music, the venue - is temporary. The pictures La Vida took of our special day are timeless and we are going to cherish them forever. We are absolutely going to think of La Vida Creations when we need professional photographers for our future events, and we whole-heartedly recommend them for yours!

h photographer's style. We ended up loving La Vida Creations' portfolio, and loved them even more after meeting them in person! This husband and wife team works together flawlessly to get the most amazing shots from different perspectives. We didn't want those typical wedding shots that sometimes go more cheesy than cute; that is not Jeff & Betsy's style. They are great at getting candid shots, so much so that most of the people attending our wedding didn't even realize we had photographers there! We also did an engagement shoot with La Vida, something they highly recommended to get comfortable with taking professional, posed photos. It was during that shoot that we really got to know Jeff and Betsy, so that on our wedding day it was like having old friends around rather than vendors who you barely know. We have received so many compliments on both our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos, they are so beautiful! La Vida Creations does the most amazing work; we were so glad to have worked with them to capture the happiest day of our lives.
Hard to describe when two so wonderful persons jump into your life and make your day so perfect.
You really feel that they love there work. You feel relaxed in the most importend...
day of you life, what more can you wish for? The combination we had with Betsy, Jeff and Ceremonies by Bethel was so fantastic and romantic it could not get any better.
Put your trust in them and your partner (who hoppefully says "I DO" or "I will") , and you will get the best day printed in your mind and heart.
We could not recommend Jeff and Betsy more! They are not just looking to take your picture- they are looking to capture the moment. You can almost feel the joy/love/laughter throug...
h their photos. They were so great at capturing the story of "us" and our wedding. Super easy to work with. We have received lots and lots of compliments on our photos and their blog they put together about our wedding day. Do yourself a favor and book them!
Jeff and Betsy are TRULY professionals - fun and talented ones, to boot! We booked them as our wedding photographers back about a year and a half ago and have never regretted it fo...
r a single second. We first bonded over our love of the chow/lab mix as we both have fur babies of that variety ourselves, and instantly felt at ease and comfortable with them. This continued throughout their work with us. Their photography is truly the most beautiful - it captures true moments, not STAGED feeling, and reflect your most intimate, candid moments you want to remember. They caught beautiful photos of our old dog during our engagement photos, and we just saw all the pictures that came out of our wedding earlier this month. GOR-GEOUS! If you want to have fun and be yourselves while they capture outstanding moments you will treasure forever, please book them. Book them now!
All we can say is WOW! La Vida Creations Photography blew our mind from day one. We have never felt so at ease with a photographer as we did with Betsy and Jeff. They made it a ...
point, from the first time we met, to be courteous, respectful, and excited about our wedding. We NEVER felt like we were “just another client”. They consistently made us feel as if we were their only clients (which we weren’t) but it really gave us the sense that they were invested in us as a couple, and clients second. Their service and product speaks for itself. They were adamant that they wanted to really capture us, and they did that by getting to know us and understand us. They captured the moments of our wedding beautifully. Their attention to detail is impeccable. They also interacted with our families and were nothing short of perfect. We have been beyond impressed with their work ethic and we are still hearing about how “fun” the photographers were from our guests. We will forever be grateful for them and their talent. Needless to say, they are now our family photographers, as well as THE photographers that we will use for any other event. They blew away our expectations and we cannot EVER see ourselves having photography done anywhere else.

We are so lucky we chose La Vida Creations to tell our wedding story in photographs! In planning our small three-guest elopement to Coronado Beach from Indiana, we hesitated about ...
hiring a professional photographer. Posing for photographs is so not us, and we also feared a photographer and a clicking camera would intrude on the intimate ceremony we wanted. But we could not have made a better choice than to ask Betsy and Jeff to memorialize our wedding day with their amazing work. Once they placed footprints in the sand for us and our officiant (the remarkable Bethel Nathan of Ceremonies by Bethel), they knew instinctively how to be inconspicuous during our very private ceremony and yet capture candid, natural images we'll always treasure. And then during our after-the-ceremony photos as the sun set, we quickly learned we would have loved to get to know them better. Betsy and Jeff have such a great bond and are so easy to connect with they just plain forced us to leave our camera-shy natures behind and have great fun with them on the beach. As a result, WOW, what beautiful and meaningful photos we received (not to mention a heart-stirring blog on the La Vida website that left us all teary-eyed back here in cold and snowy Indiana). Betsy and Jeff see themselves as storytellers, and with good reason. Because no words can ever adequately express the significance and emotions of our wedding, we are so fortunate to have our La Vida Creations images - images that truly do capture the moments and joy of that day more meaningfully than we could have ever anticipated. Thank you, Betsy and Jeff!
We loved working with Betsy and Jeff of La Vida Creations. We knew they were the right photographers for us from the first phone call. They asked a lot of questions about us as a ...
couple and family and the kind of ceremony we were having. The photographs on their website make it clear that they are technically talented photographers and capable of creating serious glamour when that’s what a couple wants. But we didn’t want that. And they were actually happy when we told them we were a same sex couple well past the age of the average blushing brides and had curves and wrinkles and grit (that we had earned honestly and wanted in the photos!). We also knew we wanted an intimate beach wedding, and they coordinated with our wonderful wedding officiant (Ceremonies by Bethel) and videographer (Murasaki Media) to select the perfect La Jolla Shores“secret wedding place” as well as the ceremony start time to ensure perfect lighting.
I met Jeff and Betsy through their furry four legged kiddo, Mace Windu. Such amazing people! They are so creative and talented at the same time professional and sensitive. ...
I will forever be thankful that I contacted them for our wedding.
Even though our ceremony was small the amazing pictures and moments captured were huge! The pictures that came from our wedding continue to amaze us everytime we see them.
I can't say enough about how incredible Jeff and Betsy are as photographers and as people. I will always, always use La Vida Creations for every event....always

e of my best friends weddings. The images were so amazing and completely unique. From that moment, I knew that they would be our wedding photographers once we got married.
They are so organized and prompt. They walk you through the entire experience and could not be more prepared. The pictures are posted so quickly too. I absolutely love their blog write up of every engagement and wedding they shoot. Our family and friends cannot stop talking about how great that it is.
We absolutely loved having them take both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. My fiancé was very nervous about taking pictures. They made him feel so comfortable and we ended up having one of the best days ever taking our engagement photos. The pictures from our engagement session were absolutely breathtaking. They are so organized and got every single picture that we wanted to get with family and completely captured the entire night. The pictures from our wedding are phenomenal. They have a way of capturing moments in the most beautiful way. They blew my wedding coordinator away as well. He even stated that he has never seen wedding photos so beautiful and artistic. In our opinion, they are the best photographers ever!

and we will absolutely cherish them forever!
After being in weddings where the photographers were late or caused much stress to the entire day, it was incredibly important to us that we find photographers with fun personalities and professionalism that would help our day go smoothly and help us have fun too! Jeff and Betsy were more than we could have ever hoped for (and we knew they would be as soon as we met them!) They brought a light-heartedness to our day, yet helped maintain intimacy between us, kept everything on schedule, AND managed to take BEAUTIFUL pictures!
Truly can't say enough good things about La Vida Creations!

photography I've ever seen for my own wedding. Betsy and Jeff are not only a darling couple, and super fun, but do tireless work, and have the talent dripping from their finger tips. I highly recommend them for the full day, it's definitely worth it!
All you have to do is browse Betsy and Jeff's blog to see how talented they are. If you need more convincing, take my recommendation that you will LOVE them!
We found the lovely...
La Vida duo because they shot our friend's wedding and we adored their photographs. I stalked their blog and looked at all the amazing pictures and beautiful people and thought, "We could never look like that!" Well guess what...they made us look like that! In addition to being so talented, they are an absolutely delightful couple. You will want to hang out with them even after they put the cameras down.
The entire process was incredibly smooth. They are organized, helpful, and have great suggestions to make everything as easy as possible. We didn't really want to do engagement photos but they are part of the package for a good reason. It really helped us be comfortable in front of the camera and get a good idea of how they work. When they showed up on the wedding day, we were all ready to go instead of taking the time to get to know each other and understand what we needed to do.
Unlike most of our other wedding vendors, they were super nice and responsive even AFTER the event and AFTER they had been paid. They care about their clients and it shows. You will not be disappointed with Betsy and Jeff!

ding party and family photos. Our wedding was about an hour away from where this couple lives and spoke with them many times over the phone and email before the wedding. They drove up to our neighborhood to take engagement photos which allowed us to get to know them better, be comfortable in front of them and the camera, and they taught us flattering poses that we later used on the big day. They sent us a questionnaire to get to know us better and a form that helped us prepare for all the important family and group photos for the wedding. They were very open and receptive to our ideas and provided their expert opinions as well. After the wedding they prepared the wedding album and allowed us to review and edit it as many times as we wanted before finalizing. We absolutely love all of our photos and book. Communication was excellent. They always responded to our emails or calls timely. I definitely recommend this couple and we will always use them in the future to capture our special moments.

h their clients (and anyone else they meet for that matter). They really have the bride and grooms' best interests in mind. And, because they are such an awesome couple, they work SO well together- no words needed between them, just a look ;) I love love love these people, just as much as I love their work. PLEASE check out their blog! (Our pictures are in October 2011, "Lisa and Jason wedding"). I could go on and on...

g photos to capture this very special occasion. She spoke so passionately and convincingly; I re-thought my decision. I, then, was fortunate to have Betsy and Jeff McCue of La Vida Creations photograph my Wedding Day. I cannot express enough gratitude for having these timeless photographs that I can look back on at any time to re-live the joy, love and happiness from that very special day. The experience of being photographed by Betsy and Jeff was wonderful! The atmosphere they created was fun, exciting and fresh! I now have amazingly beautiful and unique images to forever remember that amazing day as well as a wonderfully fun memory of working with a creative, professional photography team that is truly passionate about their art & work. Thank you Betsy and Jeff. Thank you La Vida Creations!

ople you will ever meet. They shot our wedding over a year ago & we have stayed in touch with them and become good friends.
They make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is a big part of making the experience pleasant & enjoyable. Our photos turned out so gorgeous - everyone who sees them asks who did them and we have referred a number of people their way.
The prices are very reasonable. After all, they are capturing moments that will become priceless to you. My husband & I have both our engagement photos & wedding photos displayed throughout the house. In both sessions, they were able to capture the true essence of us as a couple and our relationship with our friends & family.
If we ever have another occasion where we would like professional photos taken, we will definitely be calling on La Vida!

lighting wasn’t perfect to making the smallest guest (5 year old ring bearer) smile in our pictures! They have been shooting together for 10 years and have an amazing connection making sure to capture everything that was a part of my wedding! I loved their work and can’t wait to book them for the next big chapter of our lives!
