Betsy's Barn at Cheeseman Farm

Originally had date set at breakneck lodge, got pushed back a week for the wedding to be moved to Betsy’s barn due to the lodge in no shape to have a wedding. I admit, Jen became a lot more helpful after the change. I also rented a cabin to get ready in that morning, however the family member who handles that fell short and rented it out to someone else. I was able to get in it though around noon my wedding day. It was filthy though and that family member was VERY RUDE. Food at reception was great and they did provide a lot of minor details that put everything together. I did hear from my bridal party that they needed some prompting to do something with the grass clippings. They mowed the field ceremony spot a few hours before and was going to leave the clippings. This place was beautiful but just pay attention and ask them to do things if you don’t feel comfortable with the situation!

Everything was PERFECT. Jen Cheeseman and the rest of the Cheeseman family were involved every step of the way. They were all very accommodating and patient with our many questions. We ended up being the first wedding of the season and they absolutely NAILED IT. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful! Thank you for everything! It was truly the best day ever!

Terrible experience. I tried posting a longer review and it won't let me. This venue is beautiful, but the people you have to deal with are terrible. No attention to detail. Many things went wrong behind the scenes on my wedding day. Lots of money wasted. The contract is a joke and doesn't protect you at all. They won't care if you encounter problems and will do nothing to fix them. Terrible terrible terrible. Just move on and keep looking. Lots of other barn venues available. Forget about this place.

Betsy’s Barn was an amazing venue for our wedding we had in early May. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and made an incredible backdrop for pictures. The decorations and atmosphere were exactly what we wanted and the staff bent over backwards for us to make the day the best day of our lives. The barn is beautiful in itself and we were able to add special touches to keep our theme throughout. They met with us on numerous occasions to go over all the details and answered all of our questions. The food was delicious (we highly recommend the pig roast, it’s phenomenal), the staff was friendly and helpful, and it all made the wedding perfect. We were even able to have our rehearsal dinner there as well, which was extremely convenient for us. They are superb to work with, have excellent communication, lists of vendors if you need one and easy to get a hold of. We received countless compliments on the food and the atmosphere of the barn. Our wedding was perfect and would recommend Betsy’s Barn to anyone!
