The Story Behind Betta Entertainment Every business has a beginning, and for me, this story started long before there was a name, a website or even a business plan. Growing up in the Bronx, I was surrounded by different sounds, personalities and cultures. My love for DJing began at 10, when my uncle introduced me to the world of music and entertainment. By 12, I was already performing, you could say I was working illegally before I even knew what a resume was!  A few years later, I started JnG Entertainment with my cousin. It was the first entertainment business I built, and we shared countless events, experiences and memories while creating something together. After more than 25 years behind the decks, I’ve learned that being a great DJ is about much more than playing music. It’s about reading the room, understanding your crowd, knowing when to build the energy, when to switch things up and, most importantly, making sure people are having a great time. The name actually goes back years. My uncle, the same person who introduced me to DJing, once suggested that I name my DJ company Betta Entertainment. The name always stuck with me, but because I already had JnG, I never pursued it. Now, years later, I finally get the chance to bring this idea to life. That experience eventually led me to create something of my own: Betta Entertainment. Betta Entertainment is about professional, personal and high-energy entertainment for weddings, private celebrations, school events, corporate gatherings, nightlife and special occasions.
