Better Half Productions is, hands-down, bar-none, unequivocally the best of the best — and I don't say that lightly. I stand ten-toes down in my belief that you cannot find a bette...
r videographer in the entire New England area. From the first conversation to the final product, everything about working with this team felt effortless, personal, and genuinely fun.
Ben and James are two of the kindest, most talented people I've had the privilege of working with. They have this rare gift of making you completely forget a camera is even there, while somehow capturing every moment that actually matters. Their eye for storytelling, their easygoing energy, and their obvious passion for the craft shine through in every frame.
If you're on the fence about who to book for your wedding — stop scrolling. Book Better Half Productions. You will not regret it, and you'll be telling everyone you know about them for years to come.
Ben (and Noah, shoutout Noah) were absolutely AMAZING! Ben is so funny and disarming, and extremely relaxed, which is incredibly helpful for a type-A bride. He was so chill and mad...
e the day so fun. I didn't want photographers or videographers in the way that day, and he truly stayed in the background but got every shot we wanted in a non-intrusive way. I don't like corny/staged stuff, and Ben heard that and made everything so cool and candid and relaxed. We've only seen our trailer so far and we were literally blown away - as my mom said, "I can't wait to see it in theaters." BEN YOU ROCK!!!!!
Ben was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding videography and Photobooth! We had to reschedule our wedding 3x times due to COVID and he kindly rolled over and honored our or...
iginal contract. He has a such a fun and easy to talk with personality style that puts put me and my partner at ease. He brings such a lovely personal touch and creativity with his work. We are so happy with the candid yet professional way he captured all the important special moments from our wedding day. He brought such great positive and goofy energy throughout the whole day! Cannot recommend Ben and Better Half Productions enough :)
Ben is BEYOND talented!!!! We wish we could give him 10 stars!! Not sure where to even begin! Hiring Ben as our videographer was the best decision we made. He is responsive, kind, ...
attentive to detail, and the moments he captured during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day are jaw dropping. My husband and I both were initially worried about looking awkward on video, but wow thanks to Ben, in every shot we look so natural!!! Having the chance to meet Ben prior to our wedding day and work with him for our engagement shoot was so awesome, because when he showed up on the day of our wedding we were already comfortable being filmed by him, and felt like he was a great friend of ours!! Ben is so calm and chill, which helped ease all of our nerves. His ideas for shots are so insanely creative and watching the footage is absolutely breathtaking. Our engagement video and teaser video brought us to tears. We couldn't be happier in our decision to have Ben as our videographer, and we will be forever grateful to him for the amazing care he took in capturing our special day. Thank you Ben!!!!

t the entire wedding planning process, and we are so grateful to have these memories in video form forever. Ben was super responsive and organized, fun to spend the day with, and flexible and easy going when there was potential rain in the weather forecast. And, most importantly, the videos came out beautifully - he and did such a great job capturing the most important parts of our wedding day. I couldn't recommend Ben more for wedding videography!
We could not be more thrilled with Ben/Better Half Productions. Not only is his work incredible, he was such a joy and fun to work with and he was so instrumental in making our day...

ease! The highlight video perfectly captured all of the special moments, it felt like we were reliving our wedding in a 7 minute video; and the full length video is just so special. For us to have the full ceremony, speeches and dances to look back on in the years to come, means so much. He is very prompt on his turn around times, we were very pleased with how quickly we got the final video. Ben also really takes the time to get to know his clients, so that each video is the perfect representation of the couples relationship. He was so easy going and fun to have around throughout the day, and has a way of making everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I really can’t say enough great things about Better Half Productions. I would, without a doubt, recommend them to anyone thinking about hiring a videographer.

y. My husband and I always knew we wanted our wedding videoed so we could always look back and watch our day, and we could not have picked a better videographer!! Ben is not only so creative and talented but also very professional, hilarious, personable, and makes you feel so comfortable! Every time my husband and I watch our wedding video, it makes us feel like we are reliving our day, and we will treasure this video forever! I have and always will recommend Better Half Productions to any couple getting married!

rapher, Nico, all the way through the editing process by the very talented editor, Ben, I was consistently blown away by their service and commitment to excellence. Our wedding video is absolutely perfect and will be cherished by us forever. The cost was also reasonable and on par with the fair market value. If I could give more than 5 stars to Better Half, I would. I am eternally grateful to this company, and I would recommend them to any couple looking to capture the most amazing memories from their wedding day.

d easily into the room without me feeling uncomfortable or like I was being studied. He'll easily get you to crack a genuine smile for the perfect shot. He'll help you at any turn, at one point he even shook a tree branch so my photographer could get a beautiful shot of the flower petals falling in front of us. I am so happy that he was able to capture my wedding.
I am beyond happy with our decision to hire Ben for our wedding videography. A lot of engaged couples debate whether or not they should get a videographer for their big day. Let me...
just say – do it. And hire Ben. You will not be disappointed. Ben is so talented and his work is incredible. I love that he takes risks in order to capture the best, most creative shots. Then, add his drone in and everything gets taken to a whole new level. I couldn’t believe how amazing our wedding “trailer teaser” was, and then the highlight video came out and somehow it was even better. Ben truly makes you feel like a movie star. I am so thankful to have these breathtaking videos that will be cherished forever. Thank you for everything, Ben – it was so much fun working with you!
As I said when I shared our trailer on social media- Ben of Better Half Productions is a rockstar.

e our wedding, we started regretting not having anyone booked. One week before our wedding, I was a bridesmaid getting ready for my friend’s wedding, and into the bridal suite walked this cool guy with his cameras. As soon as he started shooting I was amazed with his meticulous movement and attention to detail. Within minutes, I asked if he was available the following weekend and, by some miracle, he was. He gave us his card at the end of that reception, we had a detailed video chat two days later, then he arrived to our bridal suite over a half hour early plus managed to get a second shooter in under one week. Like I said, he’s a rockstar.
We are so thankful we were in the right place at the right time to have met Ben. He is such an exciting human to be around. He was very professional and made us feel so comfortable during shooting that it was like he wasn’t even there. The final cut, trailer, and teaser all turned out better than we would have ever imagined.
We could not sing his praises any louder, and have already recommended Better Half Productions to friends getting married next year. Snag him while you can!
ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! When my now-husband and I got engaged, he said his only two “needs” were me and Better Half Productions. I was very skeptical at first; who needs a video when ...
you have pictures? But my husband queued up some of Ben’s videos and I was stunned. I agreed and I can’t believe I ever thought otherwise.
The morning of my wedding, I got ready in a remote hunting village in Maine with 0 cell phone service. I was slightly panicking because I knew Ben was supposed to meet us at 11 but what if he got lost? He came EARLY and was ready to go. He was so casual and laid back and made me feel like I had known him for ages. He had amazing ideas for different shots and many heartfelt ones that included my late mother that didn’t even cross my mind. He melted into the background for my pre-wedding craziness and didn’t add any extra stress.
We received our teaser video a couple days after the wedding and I sobbed. It was so beautiful and fun at the same time. I can not recommend Ben enough. Better Half was worth everything and then some. Choose him, he is amazing!
Ben was fantastic! He made sure to make everyone feel comfortable and captured all of the magical moments. I absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants a videographer that is so ...

I couldn't recommend Ben & his crew more (Nico was a pleasure to work with as well).
I'm forever indebted to Better Half for the smile that stretches across my wifes face when she queues up the video.

s going on. Ben was able to give us advice when we needed it and he also listened carefully to our needs. On the day of the wedding, he and his assistant were efficient and friendly. just breathtaking. Ben really listened to what we were looking to capture on our special day and created the end result video that we wanted and will cherish forever. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve watched it so far! Ben was both professional and personable to work with through the entire process and made it all so easy. Words cannot express how happy we are with our video and really our decision to book better half productions . Anyone contemplating a videographer in general I strongly suggest you go for it, and those looking for the right fit you will not be disappointed with Better Half Productions 💕

were actually listened to and went above my expectations. I thought I would be nervous having a camera on me for the day but Ben felt part of the family that it really felt natural and at times I forgot there was even a camera in the room. The way the video came out really captured all of the big special moments of the day and to be able to relive those moments after the crazy day has been incredible.
One of the things that really stood out to me above all my other vendors was being contacted before the wedding for a recap and to make sure we were all on the same page, this small gesture made me feel really important and confident that everything would run smoothly .
To wrap this up if it were possible to give them a 10 start rating we would. Better half productions worked well with my photographers and together they were able to capture everything for the day.
My husband and I are so happy we chose to have a videographer and we recommend that you do not skip out on that. Ben did the video for my sisters wedding and we loved working with ...
him and her video so much that we booked him for ours. We couldn’t have been more please with what he did for us. He made us a video that we will treasure for the rest of our lives and will hopefully show our kids someday. To be able to go back and experience our special day again is so priceless. He was so flexible, easy to work with, and brought such a positive energy in the room that made the day that much more enjoyable. He has such a passion for his work and you can see that because he pays attention to every detail and make sure you are happy. I would book him again in a heartbeat!

y knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I love my photos, but they just don't capture what a video does. I know that for the amount of money spent on a wedding, I was damn glad to have had it all captured on video to watch forever.
