Our lead videographer, Ben Jumper, has explored over 15 countries and brings a global perspective to each wedding film. Nico, our Lead Shooter, brings a musical touch to our films, having played bass in a wedding band for five years. Riley, our Second Shooter, is passionate about documenting unique and interesting stories. In addition to our wedding videography services, we are proud to partner with our sister company, PhoBoCo, to offer unique photo booth experiences at your wedding. We were on the fence about the “necessity” of a videographer and two weeks before our wedding, we started regretting not having anyone booked. O...
ne week before our wedding, I was a bridesmaid getting ready for my friend’s wedding, and into the bridal suite walked this cool guy with his cameras. As soon as he started shooting I was amazed with his meticulous movement and attention to detail. Within minutes, I asked if he was available the following weekend and, by some miracle, he was. He gave us his card at the end of that reception, we had a detailed video chat two days later, then he arrived to our bridal suite over a half hour early plus managed to get a second shooter in under one week. Like I said, he’s a rockstar.
We are so thankful we were in the right place at the right time to have met Ben. He is such an exciting human to be around. He was very professional and made us feel so comfortable during shooting that it was like he wasn’t even there. The final cut, trailer, and teaser all turned out better than we would have ever imagined.
We could not sing his praises any louder, and have already recommended Better Half Productions to friends getting married next year. Snag him while you can!

ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! When my now-husband and I got engaged, he said his only two “needs” were me and Better Half Productions. I was very skeptical at first; who needs a video when you have pictures? But my husband queued up some of Ben’s videos...
and I was stunned. I agreed and I can’t believe I ever thought otherwise.
The morning of my wedding, I got ready in a remote hunting village in Maine with 0 cell phone service. I was slightly panicking because I knew Ben was supposed to meet us at 11 but what if he got lost? He came EARLY and was ready to go. He was so casual and laid back and made me feel like I had known him for ages. He had amazing ideas for different shots and many heartfelt ones that included my late mother that didn’t even cross my mind. He melted into the background for my pre-wedding craziness and didn’t add any extra stress.
We received our teaser video a couple days after the wedding and I sobbed. It was so beautiful and fun at the same time. I can not recommend Ben enough. Better Half was worth everything and then some. Choose him, he is amazing!

ught I would be nervous having a camera on me for the day but Ben felt part of the family that it really felt natural and at times I forgot there was even a camera in the room. The way the video came out really captured all of the big special moments of the day and to be able to relive those moments after the crazy day has been incredible.
One of the things that really stood out to me above all my other vendors was being contacted before the wedding for a recap and to make sure we were all on the same page, this small gesture made me feel really important and confident that everything would run smoothly .
To wrap this up if it were possible to give them a 10 start rating we would. Better half productions worked well with my photographers and together they were able to capture everything for the day.
