At age 12, Mambo purchased his first set of Technique turntables and a Radio Shack Mixer. Since then he has never stopped djing. Mambo started djing at house parties and nightclubs in Mexico. At age 19, Mambo moved to Las Vegas to have Dj residency at Studio 54, MGM then joined the Army and while being stationed all over the world, Mambo would always find a way to moonlight aka DJ at nightclubs all over the world. While in the army, Mambo also took classes and certified in Master of Ceremonies and DJ Academy. He is a must have as your DJ and or Officiant. Greatest gift of public speaking is don’t think it’s about you and you won’t get nervous. Just tell the people what they need to know. In 02’ Mambo Honorably discharged from the Army and moved to Flagstaff where he started his Mobile Magic Sounds Business professionally. In 2022, Mambo moved to Phoenix to be more centrally located. Since 2002, Mambo has DJed and emceed for over 150 events a year. Mambo has such a passion for music and how it moves people around a room as well as such attention to detail. Ben is a passionate wedding officiant and the Youth Director at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church, where he has served for several years. With 11 years of public speaking experience, Ben brings a warm, engaging, and personal touch to each ceremony, tailoring every vow exchange to reflect the unique love story of the couple. Ben is known for his flexibility and ability to create a relaxed, joyful atmosphere, ensuring every couple feels supported and cherished on their special day. Whether it’s a traditional ceremony or something more contemporary, Ben’s goal is to make the experience meaningful and unforgettable.

Jose Gonzalez is a Mexican immigrant. He volunteers as a Hospice Chaplain and preaches for Victory Outreach Church in Phoenix. Pastor Jose married to Valerie is a powerhouse in our community. He leads the police and fire prayer breakfast every year at GCU and is the author of 2 books. He is a most excellent bilingual officiant as your friends and family will rave about the ceremony he performed!

Stephen is an Arizona native with over 10 years of ministry and production experience, and nearly 10 years of filming wedding days and coordinating all the details that go into planning a wedding day. An excellent communicator, meticulous planner and strong team leader, Stephen has experience dealing with multiple details for a wedding day, with the main objective being to remove as much stress as possible from the wedding party! Stephen loves getting to know his clients on a personal level and hear more about their love story that has brought them to the beginning of their happily ever after!

I have over a decade of experience as a professional wedding photographer, having hundreds of weddings under my belt. This extensive history allowed me to develop my own style, the editing I love, and what works best to make a client happy. I masterfully balance the timeless elegance of classic imagery with a fresh, contemporary perspective capturing the candid moments as they happens. Some of my earliest memories are of my grandmother and father behind the camera- pausing time with a quiet click, capturing everyday moments like they were treasures. Their love for photography planted a seed in me long before I realized it. Years later, while serving in the military, I began to see the world with more intention—studying composition and emotion in real time. This experience taught me to be patient, alert, and deeply present—skills that now shape every image I create. After the military, I earned my Bachelor's degree at Arizona State University in Film & Media Production.

Sydney is wife to her amazing husband and one of our officiants; Stephen Storto. She is an incredible mom to their daughter Tori residing in Gilbert, AZ. She 8 years years working with couples creating the most perfect wedding experience. While devoted to motherhood, she has helped Better Together expand and sharpen skills in communication, project management, and consumer/client relations. She is determined to continue expanding her own skills in business marketing while becoming a part of Better Together’s next chapter.

Erin Whitaker has spent the last 16 years pouring into the lives of teenagers as a high school English teacher. She also serves as leader of her school’s student leadership and mentor program and is an Instructional Coach to new educators. In her spare time, she enjoys singing on her church’s worship team, hiking, and traveling the world as often as she can. A native of Wisconsin, she moved to Arizona 11 years ago and now calls it home. Erin takes pride in making others’ special day one they will treasure and remember for decades to come. She is an excellent communicator and can captivate any audience of any age.

Ray Jones is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and has been uniting people in marriage for 20 years now. Ray comes from a big family, and he loves traveling and exploring new restaurants. Ray has had extensive experience working with many contexts, both cultural and generational. Ray’s greatest joy is making memories with others. LaNita Smart is an Arizona native; she is a widow. She is the proud mother of four children, thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. LaNita loves serving others, and she has been a minister over twenty-six years. LaNita loves people! She and her family travel together making memories when and where they can. Family gatherings include great food and plenty of games. LaNita serves as the Executive Minister of the Willow Grove Baptist Church. She has shared in many marriages as a planner, decorator, pre-marital counseling, and officiant. She loves playing a role in making the lives of others joyful and fulfilled.
