If I could give Kati 100 stars I would. My husband and I got engaged in December and just so happened to have a vacation planned in Maui in May. We both agreed that we wanted to do something very intimate instead of having a wedding. I searched through several photographers but from the minute I received responses from Kati, I knew she was the one we were supposed to work with. It can be somewhat stressful placing your trust in someone you have never worked with in a different state but from day one Kati did everything possible to let me know everything would be perfect, it was honestly so much more than I could have ever imagined. I had the most relaxing, stress free wedding day and I owe a lot of it to her. She picked the location, which was an incredibly beautiful spot called Makena Cove or Secret Cove. She took care of the permits required and even make my beautiful bouquet. My husband was super nervous about the pictures, but when she started we didn’t even have to think about what we were supposed to do, she just made us so comfortable. If you are looking for a photographer, Kati is definitely who you should hire.

I am really happy with the service that Better Together Photography provided. Their cost was much more reasonable than some of the other Maui photographers without sacrificing any of the quality of top photographers. Kati took time to meet with us the week before our ceremony to touch base about our needs and she frequently stayed in contact the months leading up to the wedding, even sending a quick email to say she was looking forward to shooting our wedding. Her and Tyson shot our ceremony and reception. They took us to an amazing secluded location for our portraits. They really compliment each other and both have very different creative ideas. Furthermore, they were very accommodating when we asked to have certain shots done on the fly. It's nice when your photographers are great people; you are spending a whole day with them, after all. We had a lot of fun working with them and would highly recommend them. I think the words we would use to describe them are hardworking, friendly, genuine, and professional. Our photos were ready a few days after the wedding which was awesome and we were able to view them in their amazing studio on a slideshow that really summed up the whole day.
