Caitie was recommended to me by a good friend who had hired her for her wedding. I had no idea if I needed a wedding coordinator when considering all of the vendors to hire but I ...
would 100% say you need a day of coordinator, at a minimum. Caitie and her team made my wedding day perfect, in so many ways I could not have anticipated. She was the MVP of the day! Throughout planning she was a joy to work with, responsive and very kind to give me invaluable advice. Having a day of coordinator took a lot of weight off of me the weeks and days leading up to the event so I could enjoy the moment. I cannot thank Caitie enough for her energy, kindness and support on my wedding day and hard work making all of the details come together!
was, without a doubt, the most valuable part of our wedding day and planning experience. She answered my panicked calls and e-mails in record time, and eased every worry I had whe...
n it came to planning our perfect day. Caitie has incredible design talent and made my wildest dreams come true for the perfect celebration. She made me trust in mixing patterns and created a stunning reception I could have never done without her vision. My husband and I are still in awe of how elegant our industrial, yet classic, ceremony and reception were put together. Caitie has built strong relationships in the Baltimore wedding community and made suggestions for vendors that she wholeheartedly trusts and communicated all of our needs to them. She went above and beyond contacting everyone who knows anyone in the entire city of Baltimore when we found out a massive bike race was taking part right outside our venue, blocking essential roads our guests could take to get to our wedding. She handled any and every hiccup with grace and made sure my husband and I knew nothing was wrong until the evening was over. Caitie makes magic happen and I hope every bride and groom get to experience how wonderful she is at her job, and as a person. We will be thanking Caitie and Betty Lou Events for years to come when we look back on our favorite day ever; she is truly the best!!

h a talented wedding planner and will do everything in her power to make sure every detail is there and accounted for. She will truly make your vision come to life and much more. If you are looking for a wonderful wedding planner, just know that you are in good hands with Betty Lou Events.
Hiring Caitie was the very first and very best decision I made in wedding planning and quite possibly in my entire life (aside from my decision to marry my husband :) ). The 3500 c...
haracter limit in this review will not do her hard work and talent justice, but I will certainly try.
We got engaged in December of 2018 and hired Caitie in February of 2019 as we were planning our 8/22/20 Annapolis, MD wedding while living in Seattle, WA. As an event planner myself, I knew what I was looking for in a planner and from the very first conversation we had, Caitie checked every single box and more. From her connections in the industry, to her eye for design, her attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond, Caitie is truly the best of the best.
Fast forward to July of 2020, we made the difficult decision to postpone to 6/11/22 and within 24 hours, Caitie had secured all of our venues and vendors for our new date. She made sure we understood everything in the contracts and went to bat for us with any pricing hikes. I was an emotional wreck and she made the process so incredibly easy for us - my family and I have said a million times that there is no way we could have done it without her.
The following month in August of 2020, we decided we wanted to at least do the legal/civil part of our marriage as we are military there were lots of reasons behind this, but mostly because we wanted a reason to celebrate in a year that had been full of so much sadness. I called Caitie and in a matter of 6 hours, we had all the details planned for an intimate ceremony for 7 attendees in a beautiful garden in Annapolis on a Wednesday afternoon with a champagne/high tea lunch reservation to follow. It was a perfect day, all COVID-guidelines adhered to, that was incredibly special to us and again, it couldn't have happened without Caitie.
Fast forwarding again to our official wedding weekend in 2022. I don't even know where to start. They say it takes a village but the reality is that this wedding weekend took more than that, all led by Caitie and her team. The detail and complexity was from another dimension and Caitie took every bit of it in stride. The entire wedding weekend was literally flawless - not one single thing could have been better. We are so grateful to Caitie, there are no words that can fully express that. She made our wedding weekend beyond our wildest dreams and there is no one I would have rather worked with for 3.5 years.
Lastly, from the time that I hired Caitie in February of 2019 to our actual wedding date in June of 2022, Caitie herself got engaged, got married, had her first baby and is expecting her second later this year. She did ALL of that while continuing to flawlessly run her business and make me (and every single one of her other brides) feel like they were most important people, she never let the ball drop and is truly SUPERWOMAN.
Hire Caitie. It is the best decision you will ever make.
Caitie and her team truly exceeded my expectations for my wedding day. I had NO idea what I was doing with planning/design/sourcing vendors and Caitie made it SO easy throughout th...
e entire process. She chose the hands down BEST VENDORS (my flowers day of literally brought me to tears and I am not a cryer) and the room couldn't have been more beautiful. Caitie kept me on track and calm during the entire planning process. She is the perfect balance of patient and firm - making sure I'm not stressing over the unimportant stuff :). I had 59694569 questions and Caitie was able to explain everything to me and make me feel so comfortable when making decisions. Can't recommend Caitie/BettyLou enough!!

he was the only one I wanted to work with. She is chic, professional, and incredibly talented. I was toying with not doing a first look and Caitie convinced me otherwise. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER. She did everything to make Alec and my day easy and enjoyable. I asked her for advice on table numbers for our pop art themed wedding and she had the BRILLIANT idea of adding koons balloon dogs to the table which ended up being one of my favorite elements. Best taste, best attitude, best wedding planner. HIRE HER.
Caitie did an incredible job. Wow. From year out conversations to the inevitable mad rush of the week of, with incremental weather questions—will it rain?! (it didn't, phew)—and ou...
r million questions about making sure the day would be perfect, Caitie rocked it! I wish I could do it all over again. Our ceremony and reception, after party, after after party, were all fantastic. Can't imagine doing it without her and her team! Thanks Caitie!

ind. She was super patient with my constant emails and questions, and always got back to me even during these crazy COVID times! On top of all the logistical handling (from contracts to schedules), Caitie is also amazing at designing your big day. She put together a dream team to make our vision come true. I’m pretty type A and thought I knew what I wanted for my wedding, but handing design over to Caitie really took our day to the next level. So many of our unmarried friends have told us that they want to copy everything from our wedding because of how beautiful it all turned out! The day of our wedding went off seamlessly and we could not have done anyhing without Caitie and her team. Thank you BLE!!!
Caitie was incredible and I don't know what I would have done without her. We were scheduled to get married in October 2020 and she seamlessly postponed our wedding to October 2021...
, ensuring all the vendors we had initially selected were still on board for the new date. We got married at an edgy/funky event space and she completely understood my vision which included lots of color and texture. She's honestly a design genius-- both my husband and I cried when we saw the reception area on our wedding day because it was so gorgeous. She also kept all of our vendors on track, helped us both stay sane and organized and couldn't have been kinder/more accommodating.
Tons of people warned us that things inevitably go wrong on your wedding day, and lots of my friends checked in on me in the weeks leading up to the event, assuming I was an anxious wreck. I can proudly say I had very little anxiety about how things would turn out at the wedding, and literally nothing went wrong.
I have already recommended Caitie to two other engaged couples in the DMV and will continue to promote her work/recommend her to others moving forward. You will not having her on board!
I don't know what I would have done without Caitie and the BLE team! I chose a rather unconventional venue, which really required that I have someone to help with the logistics of ...
the day. We had to work around tight timing and COVID restrictions to bring lighting, catering, florals, and decor together. Caitie's team oversaw it all--including finding a last minute second photographer when mine couldn't make it! Thank you for all your assistance, Caitie and team, in making our dream day come true!
Where do I even begin? Through a COVID postponement and what seemed like endless changes and pivots to our plans, Caitie was there from the beginning and did absolutely everything ...
she could to make sure we had the most special day ever. We hired her for the full design package and it's like she took every single detail I had in my head and made it come to life. Her vision, professionalism, tenacity, and genuine hospitality are above anything I've seen. Thank you Caitie for making our day so special and for never giving up!!

at planning a wedding from afar could be a challenge, so our first move was to hire Betty Lou Events to help us coordinate. It was the best decision we made! Her knowledge and connection to vendors in the area was so amazing. They made sure everything went smoothly and it was such a relief to know her team was there to provide support. The day of our wedding with her team was seamless. Also, the Monday before our wedding my dress was ruined and I had to find a new dress immediately. Caitie dropped everything and started reaching out to shops, vendors, and friends to help me find a new dress. I can't thank her and her team enough for all of their help.
Do yourself a favor and hire Caitie and her team ASAP. Not only is Caitie skilled, talented, and experienced at all things wedding, but she is also a person you will want to be you...
r friend - kind, warm, and funny.
I came to her with little to no idea of a vision for our wedding and she created not one - but two- designs that were completely stunning and perfect. She managed our wedding postponement during COVID, she handled transportation hiccups, coordinated with our other vendors, ran our rehearsal with such confidence and clarity, and always made time to reassure and problem solve along the way. We cannot sing Caitie's praises enough!
We hired Caitie to help coordinate our wedding and she was such a huge help! Caitie understood my vision right away and was able to help with all the little details that I hadn't t...
hought of. All of my married friends kept telling me how I needed to brace myself for things to go wrong on my wedding day but with Caitie in charge, not one thing went wrong. My husband and I were able to just relax and enjoy the party. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help planning or coordinating!
The best advice I got from all my married friends still to this date was “don’t be a hero, get a full time wedding planner” and I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to those...
people and those words! We were recommended to Caitie from one of my husband’s cousins who was also in the event planning business and I could tell right off the bat it was going to be a beautiful relationship. Caitie and her staff were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating and completely on top of everything. I actually used to laugh when people would ask me if I was stressed and what they could do to help, because never at one point did I either feel stressed or dying for help on any level! Our wedding was literally a fairy tale that I didn’t even know was possible and Caitie and her staff made it happen and made it seem effortless (don’t be fooled! These people worked their butts off!) . I could sit here and talk about how great of a decision this was for me and could be for you all day but you’ve more than likely already stopped reading this, but if I could give more than five stars for Betty Lou Events I would!! I have so much respect for Caitie and the rest of the Betty Lou events staff and can’t express my appreciation enough for what they did for us!
Caitie was everything we could hope for in a wedding planner and more! From day one we felt relieved that our special day was in Caitie’s capable hands. She listened and understood...
our vision and was so amazing at making it a reality. Caitie was able to make it all happen while being conscious of our budget and even saved us money in certain areas of the wedding, without compromising our vision! Everything was done so smoothly and efficiently, and we cannot thank her enough. If you are thinking about hiring caitie to plan your wedding, stop thinking and DO IT!!! You absolutely will not regret it.
Caitie made our wedding perfect and I would highly recommend working with her and her team! When we did our initial consultation I told her we needed a planner to help put together...
everything in 6 months because we were pivoting from our original dream wedding to a backyard wedding because of COVID. Caitie said she could make it happen. When I told her I had no ideas or requests except that it looked elegant she brought her style and vision into creating a perfect vision board. I think she might be a mind reader... But I know it's actually because she stays on top of trends in fashion and in the industry. It is 100% worth it to have Caitie help with the look and feel and styling because she is an expert. It feels like a steal having her talent to help with the style of your wedding!
She also took on everything leading up to the wedding with a sense of calm and professionalism. The package I got (and would highly recommend!) had Caitie reaching out to vendors and keeping track of everything. No detail was missed because she was on it and it made my job so much easier. When I had a request, she immediately started reaching out to vendors that would work. She works with the best vendors who are all amazing and talented just like her. Although it cost a little more, I can tell you it was worth it to be able to feel at peace that Caitie had things under control.
On the day of the wedding Caitie was the calm that kept everything together. I felt like I didn't have the stress you hear other brides have at all because Caitie took on everything so that I could focus on enjoying the day. It was even more impressive because the venue was my house and not a traditional venue. Nothing seemed to phase Caitie even when a fuse went out or the wifi stopped working.
I cannot tell you how many people have said our wedding was the perfect wedding. And I know that is because of Caitie's vision, talent, and attention to detail. Caitie also really cares about her brides and it shows. I would highly highly recommend Betty Lou Events to any bride!

lped us navigate the entire process. With an original date on Easter weekend we were unfortunately forced to push back our date like many other couples due to COVID. Caitie was a rockstar. With news changing everyday she maintained a cool head and guided us through the process of rescheduling. Within hours she had a new date and all of our vendors on board. As time went on, she was consistently communicating with us and ensuring we had everything we needed. I imagine she was doing this for many other couples, which makes her work even more impressive. Our day, while not exactly normal, was absolutely perfect and stress free. Much of this because of Caitie's hard work and dedication. If you're considering hiring a planner, Caitie and Betty Lou Events are the best!
Where do I even start? Caitie was the most organized, impressive, elegant, creative, and fun planner to work with! Because of COVID, we had to replan my wedding 4 times (guest coun...
t change, venue change, date change, etc.). Caitie was on top of every single detail. She was the most amazing support system I could have asked for. I truly mean it when I say you will be in great hands with her team. I did not have to worry about one thing the few days before my wedding and wedding day. To top it off, Caitie has incredible taste and style which is evident through the local vendors that she recommends and works with. She helped me create the most elegant and unique vision. I will be forever grateful to her and the team for organizing the most magical night.

zing. I had talked to a few other planners, but I clicked the most with her. She was easy to talk to, understood what I was looking for, and was reasonably priced. We were mostly looking for someone to run the show the day of and really take over the finally communications between vendors that last stretch so we didn't have anything extra to worry about. Then, BOOM, COVID came and had us cancel our wedding only two weeks out. If it wasn't for Caitie and her hard work, I don't think I would have survived the heartbreak of cancelling and pain of rescheduling. Somehow, it was all pretty painless and Caitie went above and beyond for us. She took all the stress away and worked much harder than she ever signed up for. Fast forward to our postponed wedding and wow, it was just perfect. Having a planner that is organized and knows exactly what to do took all the stress away from us and let us just enjoy the big day. Her timeline was seamless and every vendor was so thankful for it because it left nothing uncovered. I cannot thank Caitie enough for helping us through probably the most stressful, crazy wedding time (maybe ever). She works so hard and is just a great person to work with. Corona wedding or not, Caitie is for sure your girl!
I have known Caitie for over a year now both as a bride, intern, and friend.
As an intern I saw Caitie bend over backwards for her brides and grooms just to make sure that their w...
edding day was EXACTLY what they wanted. I never saw a bride or groom without a smile on their faces when seeing the gorgeous work of Caitie.
As a friend, I know Caitie to be hardworking, caring, loyal, and a joy to be around. She always has a smile on her face and a great antidote.
As a bride who hired Caitie and Betty Lou Events, I can say without a doubt it was the BEST decision during the whole planning process. Without Caitie, my wedding would not have been as beautiful or functional.
My wedding was a COVID-19 wedding (well, it didn't start out that way). Caitie designed everything and helped me book amazing vendors (even getting me discounts!). Everything was planned to a tee. Then COVID-19 hit and our world and the whole world for that matter was shaken. We didn't know what to do 1 month out from our wedding date (May 9, 2020). We had a 130 person planned wedding and no idea what the future held. Caitie walked with Aidan and I during that stressful time (we were all new to the situation). But Caitie was our foundation; she kept us sane and focused. After much thought and discussion, Caitie helped us alter our wedding completely. We decided to move the wedding to July and downsize to a total of 12 people. We also had Caitie transform my childhood home into a wedding venue that has been called "Pinterest worthy." Caitie took a patch of sour lemons and honestly gave us nothing that resembled lemons... rather it was champagne. Our wedding was nothing short of stunning, perfect, all the pretty words.
Caitie and Betty Lou Events was our best choice and will be yours too! She never disappoints and only delivers the best results. She works for you and with you to make sure you are happy and completely satisfied. She will take your vision and make it a 1000% better if you let her creative juices fly.
Thank you Caitie for being there for us when the times got very tough. You were our rock and we were so happy to celebrate with you in July.

s. She was incredibly helpful from the very beginning in getting other vendors to join in on the fun, planning out the timeline of the day, and bringing our vision for the event to life. With this being the first year for our Dog Wedding, we really wanted to be sure that our guests had a great experience and thanks to Betty Lou Events, it was a huge success. We had a great turnout and Caitie made sure everything was fabulous and ran smoothly. We can’t thank Caitie enough and look forward to working with them again!

nd now we are eagerly awaiting that. Working with Caitie was seamless. Her team was plentiful and professional. Everything from start (the first email) to finish (the parting gifts) was organized and all of the vendors were able to work together so well because of her coordination, enthusiasm and vision.
Caitie and Betty Lou Events were a dream come true from the very beginning and far exceeded all of my expectations!! I wasn't fond of the original coordinator my venue provided so ...
I was on the hunt for a new one. From the moment I spoke to Caitie she eased every worry and stressor I had. Right then I knew I had found "the one!". From 6 weeks out she took over all communication with my vendors and made the most detailed timeline I could have ever imagined. She even handles your rehearsal! Day of - Caitie and her team were absolutely amazing! Not only did she go above and beyond keeping everyone organized and on schedule she's a blast to spend the day with and a ball of sunshine. The one part I completely overlooked was the aftermath...rest assured Caitie and her team will pack up everything so you don't have to lift a finger or worry about a thing.
I now need to host more events just so I can hire Betty Lou Events and Caitie again!
I inquired and "interviewed" several planners before meeting Caitie. But during our initial emails and phonecalls, she was so easy going and I knew we had a connection! I'm so glad...
that I had the pleasure to work with Caitie (and her assistant Alex on the day of). Despite my OCD-ness and incessant emails, Caitie was patient and supportive through the entire process. She is RESPONSIVE, TIMELY, DETAILED - and so sweet (is there anything else you could ask for?) On the day of, she handled every detail without a hitch and I loved how I felt confident in her abilities to make the right decisions day of. Even my parents were raving about her! Our wedding was not easy - 250 guests , off site caterer - huge families - over 15 different vendors to coordinate - OCD bride (me) - but my wedding day was absolutely perfect. THANK YOU CAITIE & BLE EVENTS!

ding us with recommendations for vendors that we really loved. We were even lucky enough to have Caitie's extremely handy husband, build us a custom escort board and place cards, which were amazing!
We were married at a former Studebaker car dealership, and we incorporated antique items from my grandfather’s collection. The groom’s father was ordained so he married us, our 13-year old Pomeranian was in our ceremony, and friends played at our ceremony and produced our first dance song. We loved being able to incorporate our closest family and friends in our wedding.
On our wedding day, Caitie and her assistant Alex were onsite to streamline the production with the vendors, assist with wedding pictures, ensured that awkward family meltdowns didn’t occur, and even packed everything up at the end of the night. Just wait until you see her wedding day timeline, its incredible!
If you couldn’t tell, my husband and I are extremely, type A, and we truly appreciated being able to relax on our wedding day and spend time with family and friends instead of worrying about logistics. Our wedding was beautiful and flawlessly executed. Without hesitation, we would recommend Betty Lou Events. Caitie was a dream to work with and our wedding was way beyond our expectations. Stop your wedding planner search, and go with Betty Lou Events!!!

e when planning our wedding. Although she was only our month of coordinator, she helped us throughout the planning process by recommending wonderful vendors within our budget. Her fiancé even made our wedding arch, which was beautiful! Caitie is incredibly knowledgeable about all things weddings, kind, and wonderful to work with! On our wedding day we were able to completely relax because we knew Caitie was on it. Highly recommended! You couldn't find a better wedding planner!

Caitie's attention to detail and eye for design are incredible, and her communication is very clear, organized, and detail oriented - throughout our planning I never felt stressed about details or execution. On the day of our wedding my fiance and I were totally relaxed and able to enjoy the day knowing that everything was in the best hands.

n the weeks before the wedding and I could not have been more grateful. I knew that our wedding was going to go off perfectly with Caitie as our planner. By the time of the wedding, Caitie and Alex had everything figured out. There was not a single point during the whole day that I felt stressed about the details. I can assume that there were things that didn’t go according to plan but I had no idea! Caitie and her team were absolutely wonderful! My only regret is that I didn’t have Caitie for full planning!

ek before the big day, we relied heavily on email, text, and phone calls with Caitie to get all the ideas and details together. Caitie was very responsive, professional, and helpful with all of our unique ideas and she helped us to feel completely stress-free about it -- the day before the wedding, our friends kept asking why we were so calm! Unlike so many of our friends, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our wedding weekend. We saw the details come alive on the day of and we couldn't be more happy with Caitie's recommendations, style, attention to detail, and organization. My parents also could not stop raving about Caitie and her assistant, Alex. After the reception, both Caitie and Alex stayed until 10:30pm to facilitate the clean-up and packing-up process with the vendors, and we were SO grateful!
I also wanted to write a shoutout for Caitie's fiance, Justin. Many of our wedding style ideas were wooden or natural-themed, and Justin is absolutely amazing with woodwork and custom projects. He helped us with several projects for our wedding and every time the quality of his designs and his product exceeded our expectations! In fact, some of our out-of-town friends asked whether he could make similar projects for them and ship it to Texas!
We highly recommend Caitie, Alex, and Justin. Honestly I feel so broken-hearted that we are no longer working together!

fter I spoke with her I knew I didn't need to talk to anyone else. She was EVERYTHING we could have ever asked for and a trillion times more. When I think of Caitie, I think of these traits: 'impeccable' and genuine, honest, trustworthy, and so much more. Her communication is above and beyond (which is SO important in the wedding industry). Her eye, style and taste is absolutely impeccable. She was so comforting and truthful in what we did and did not need. Initially, my mom and I didn't know exactly how day of coordination fit into our budget or the flow of the process; and now I could not imagine the day (or months leading up) without Caitie. We quickly eased ourselves into asking her tons of questions (all answered in record time) and including Caitie in all communication. I am confident that without her support we would not have had the same impeccable day. I would recommend Caitie over and over to anyone who needs any type of event support with 1000% confidence that she will absolutely exceed any expectations (and trust me, my family has high expectations :-)). So grateful for you, Caitie!!!!
I cannot say enough about Caitie and her company, Betty Lou Events. I had the opportunity to assist Caitie at two different weddings and both were pulled off flawlessly. When I say...
that Caitie goes above and beyond for her clients, I truly mean it. The amount of effort and attention to detail she puts in every aspect of your special day is unmatched by any other planner I’ve worked with. From the perfect venue and decor, to making sure that each brides day was seamless and beautiful, Caitie does it all. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to plan an event for me after seeing what Caitie can make happen!

or bringing a vision to life and creating the most gorgeous spaces. She is so easy to collaborate with both as a client and vendor, as she truly is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I’m looking forward more opportunities to work with her!
I could not imagine what I would have done without Caitie and her team at Betty Lou Events. I hired Caitie about 2.5 months before my wedding. I had a good vision of my day, but it...
was getting to the point of being overwhelming and knew we needed help. My only regret is not hiring her sooner. After my first phone call with Caitie I could tell she was the one to come in and execute it all. Let me tell you she ABSOLUTELY did that and more, and it was nothing short of perfect! My venue happened to be my parent’s residence, which makes throwing a wedding a bit challenging. Caitie came out immediately to see the house and set up, meet with me and learned more of my vision for the day. From there she got everything squared away. On the days up to the wedding she was in constant contact ensuring things went smoothly and onsite the days leading up making sure everything last detail was in place. From tent set up to the table break down and 1,000 things in between. She took my ideas for the design and took it to the next level and turned it into a gorgeous and flawless event that was breathtaking. I had some many people telling me it was Pinterest perfect and stunning that evening and still getting comments weeks after. Any hiccup that arose, Caitie took care of it and with a smile on her face which allowed my family and I to enjoy the day. She is sweet, calming, professional, and a boss lady all in one small package. She makes you as a bride feel amazing and it could not be truer to say when you work with Caitie you also gain a friend. My father, who cannot remember anyone’s name, in his speech personally thanked Caitie for making it all happen and putting together a beautiful presentation, she truly made magic happen that day. I highly recommend using Caitie and her team at Betty Lou Events to make your dream event come true as well!

her, there weren’t any stressful moments for me because she handled it all so beautifully behind the scenes. Meghan assisted her that day and she was amazing too! I’d highly recommend Caitie as your wedding planner, not only does she have amazing taste and is extremely organized but she has great communication skills!
She even went above and beyond and bought sparklers for the wedding and brought 5 large rugs from Baltimore to the venue in DC to decorate the space!
Prior to the day off she personally communicated with each vendor to ensure that everyone was on the same page and created an extremely detailed timeline!
At the end of the night of the wedding she made sure everything was cleared out and returned. She never left our sight the whole night making sure we were enjoying ourselves!
I spoke to 5 different planners prior to meeting with Caitie, and as soon as I met her I asked “where do I sign a contract to make sure you don’t get booked for my date!” No other impressed me as much as she did, and she delivered!
Working with Caitie was nothing less than amazing! Having always wanted to plan events this was such an awesome experience. For years I have admired Caitie and all of her accompli...
shments. Being reconnected with her has also reminded me of just how wonderful of a person she is as well. Her personality is huge but not as big as her heart in which she always puts into her work. She can talk to anyone and made me, as well as everyone involved in the wedding feel comfortable and confident that she knew exactly what she was doing. She has such an eye for decor that even now when I decorate something I think “would Caitie do this?” I was able to witness the bride sincerely thank her numerous times for all of her hard work and dedication. She treated the event as if it were her own which just goes to show how much she truly cares. Even when a few hiccups happened Caitie was on top of it. I know this girl is going to go far even farther than she’s already been. I can’t wait to continue to watch her grow. If you are looking to have a flawless, gorgeous event, I cannot say enough how much I would recommend going with Caitie. I guarantee you will also end with having a new memorable friend.
I was a matron of honor in my friend's wedding two weeks ago. I was truly blown away by how amazing Caitie was...the whole day was stress-free from start to finish because of her. ...
She was prompt, professional, incredibly friendly, and immediately addressed any issues that came up throughout the day. I would recommend her to any of my friends or family just based off what I experienced the day of the wedding.
Caitie and her team at Betty Lou Events are absolutely incredible. I hired Caitie at the last minute after working with another Baltimore planner for over a year and feeling comple...
tely overwhelmed and alone in the wedding planning process. Within a matter of a day, Caitie made an on-site visit at my venue happen and drafted a vision board for my wedding that was exactly what I described to her, but better. She worked seamlessly with the great vendors I had already hired and brought additional amazing vendors in. She was responsive, hilarious, and made the planning process SO much fun despite our very limited timeframe. Caitie was with me the entire day of the wedding and couldn’t have ran a more flawless event. My reception venue ended up being more beautiful than I could have ever imagined thanks to her impeccable eye for design. She went above and beyond in every way imaginable and I could never thank her enough for designing and executing the day of my dreams. I even had members of my bridal party and guests tell me how awesome and helpful Caitie and her team were when they needed anything. To any brides looking for an amazing planner, stop right now and call Caitie. She will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best day of your life and added bonus, you’ll gain a friend in the process.

ents and her ability to execute above and beyond the clients needs. From planning a runway show and fundraiser at a private residence in Orange County to envisioning a men’s suiting event in NYC, Caitie is able to create and produce events for any occasion always keeping the clients needs first and foremost. I have never worked with someone more organized, creative and passionate about events. Through stressful situations she always kept a smile on her face and made sure that the clients were happy and stress free. Her charisma and outstanding networking skills have allowed her to create a list of vendors who adore working with her and work with her on any budget to create the clients vision. She is always transparent with costs and through her charm can negotiate with vendors to meet the needs of the client. Her charm lights up every room and she will keep you laughing with her wit and her ability to make every moment a good time. If you’re looking for an event planner – Caitie is your girl!

e luxury industry. She thrives under high-stress circumstances while keeping her composure and still exceeding client expectations.
While at Versace, Caitie worked on managing the Events budget for all of North America, delegated and communicated with store associates and communicated directly with clients and charity organizations to bring their event partnership vision to life. From formulating event concepts, to arranging logistical aspects, and coming full circle to on-site event execution – Caitie will be completely transparent with you through the entire planning process while ensuring your experience is entertaining and enjoyable by keeping you laughing all the way to the end.
Over the last 4 years starting with Dior, then Valentino and finally Versace, Cait has brought me along to work with her during her rise through these esteemed fashion houses.

these high profile and high pressured environments, it was always a pleasure to walk in and be greeted by her smiling face and positive energy. Prior to the shoot, she was always crystal clear in her communication with me and then during the shoot was always accessible if I needed to consult with her.
Having also shot many weddings I would say the key to being a successful planner is not only an attention to detail along with anticipating any problems but most importantly it's about possessing the right personality. This is what makes Cait stand out in my mind.
The best planners treat not only the clients and the guests in a calm and courteous way but everyone else who is there working to make the event successful.
Given Caitie’s background in luxury events for some of the most recognized brands, you may be wondering if she’s the best person to plan a smaller, low-key event. I’m happy to say ...
she absolutely is. I didn’t have too much of a vision; I said I wanted classy but low-key and Caitie somehow turned that into a beautiful reality.
From coordinating rentals to designing the entire invitation, Caitie took care of every single aspect of my event and made it look easy. It went off without a hitch and I’m sure that would not have been the case if I were doing it on my own. If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner for your event, one meeting with Caitie will win you over. Even in just the first few minutes of meeting her, you will see that she genuinely loves what she does, and will only be happy if she can make you happy with your event.
I've had the pleasure of knowing Caitie both as a friend and as an event planner. As a friend, she is incredibly fun, honest, and has an amazing sense of humor — qualities, it turn...
s out, which are invaluable for an event planner. She’ll be candid about budget expectations but always, always puts your needs first. When the stress gets to you, leave it to Caitie to keep you laughing. But don't mistake her lightheartedness for a lack of professionalism. She is always on top of it, and so fierce when it comes to fighting for exactly what you want for your event. There's a reason that our 115 person event went off with absolutely ZERO hiccups and that's because of Caitie's relentless efforts, creativity, and attention to minute details.
Our engagement party also had several cultural and religious requests to take into consideration (and a few last-minute hurdles to overcome) which Caitie navigated with aplomb, learning as she needed to and never leaving us feeling overwhelmed or concerned.
Not to mention, the girl is CHIC. When you’re not asking for her advice on the perfect tablescape, you'll be texting to ask where she got her outfit or how she DIY’ed her home office. And it doesn't hurt dog is adorable too!
