would 100% say you need a day of coordinator, at a minimum. Caitie and her team made my wedding day perfect, in so many ways I could not have anticipated. She was the MVP of the day! Throughout planning she was a joy to work with, responsive and very kind to give me invaluable advice. Having a day of coordinator took a lot of weight off of me the weeks and days leading up to the event so I could enjoy the moment. We got engaged in December of 2018 and hired Caitie in February of 2019 as we were planning our 8/22/20 Annapolis, MD wedding while living in Seattle, WA. As an event planner myself, I knew what I was looking for in a planner and from the very first conversation we had, Caitie checked every single box and more. From her connections in the industry, to her eye for design, her attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond, Caitie is truly the best of the best.
Fast forward to July of 2020, we made the difficult decision to postpone to 6/11/22 and within 24 hours, Caitie had secured all of our venues and vendors for our new date. She made sure we understood everything in the contracts and went to bat for us with any pricing hikes. I was an emotional wreck and she made the process so incredibly easy for us - my family and I have said a million times that there is no way we could have done it without her.
The following month in August of 2020, we decided we wanted to at least do the legal/civil part of our marriage as we are military there were lots of reasons behind this, but mostly because we wanted a reason to celebrate in a year that had been full of so much sadness. I called Caitie and in a matter of 6 hours, we had all the details planned for an intimate ceremony for 7 attendees in a beautiful garden in Annapolis on a Wednesday afternoon with a champagne/high tea lunch reservation to follow. It was a perfect day, all COVID-guidelines adhered to, that was incredibly special to us and again, it couldn't have happened without Caitie.
Fast forwarding again to our official wedding weekend in 2022. I don't even know where to start. They say it takes a village but the reality is that this wedding weekend took more than that, all led by Caitie and her team. The detail and complexity was from another dimension and Caitie took every bit of it in stride. The entire wedding weekend was literally flawless - not one single thing could have been better. We are so grateful to Caitie, there are no words that can fully express that. She made our wedding weekend beyond our wildest dreams and there is no one I would have rather worked with for 3.5 years.
Lastly, from the time that I hired Caitie in February of 2019 to our actual wedding date in June of 2022, Caitie herself got engaged, got married, had her first baby and is expecting her second later this year. She did ALL of that while continuing to flawlessly run her business and make me (and every single one of her other brides) feel like they were most important people, she never let the ball drop and is truly SUPERWOMAN.

Tons of people warned us that things inevitably go wrong on your wedding day, and lots of my friends checked in on me in the weeks leading up to the event, assuming I was an anxious wreck. I can proudly say I had very little anxiety about how things would turn out at the wedding, and literally nothing went wrong.

But I know it's actually because she stays on top of trends in fashion and in the industry. It is 100% worth it to have Caitie help with the look and feel and styling because she is an expert. She also took on everything leading up to the wedding with a sense of calm and professionalism. The package I got (and would highly recommend!) had Caitie reaching out to vendors and keeping track of everything. No detail was missed because she was on it and it made my job so much easier. When I had a request, she immediately started reaching out to vendors that would work. She works with the best vendors who are all amazing and talented just like her. Although it cost a little more, I can tell you it was worth it to be able to feel at peace that Caitie had things under control.
On the day of the wedding Caitie was the calm that kept everything together. I felt like I didn't have the stress you hear other brides have at all because Caitie took on everything so that I could focus on enjoying the day. zing. I had talked to a few other planners, but I clicked the most with her. She was easy to talk to, understood what I was looking for, and was reasonably priced. We were mostly looking for someone to run the show the day of and really take over the finally communications between vendors that last stretch so we didn't have anything extra to worry about. Then, BOOM, COVID came and had us cancel our wedding only two weeks out. If it wasn't for Caitie and her hard work, I don't think I would have survived the heartbreak of cancelling and pain of rescheduling. My wedding was a COVID-19 wedding (well, it didn't start out that way). Caitie designed everything and helped me book amazing vendors (even getting me discounts!). Everything was planned to a tee. Then COVID-19 hit and our world and the whole world for that matter was shaken. We didn't know what to do 1 month out from our wedding date (May 9, 2020). We had a 130 person planned wedding and no idea what the future held. Caitie walked with Aidan and I during that stressful time (we were all new to the situation). But Caitie was our foundation; she kept us sane and focused. After much thought and discussion, Caitie helped us alter our wedding completely. We decided to move the wedding to July and downsize to a total of 12 people. We also had Caitie transform my childhood home into a wedding venue that has been called "Pinterest worthy." Caitie took a patch of sour lemons and honestly gave us nothing that resembled lemons... rather it was champagne. Our wedding was nothing short of stunning, perfect, all the pretty words.

We were married at a former Studebaker car dealership, and we incorporated antique items from my grandfather’s collection. The groom’s father was ordained so he married us, our 13-year old Pomeranian was in our ceremony, and friends played at our ceremony and produced our first dance song. We loved being able to incorporate our closest family and friends in our wedding.
On our wedding day, Caitie and her assistant Alex were onsite to streamline the production with the vendors, assist with wedding pictures, ensured that awkward family meltdowns didn’t occur, and even packed everything up at the end of the night. Just wait until you see her wedding day timeline, its incredible!
