Many of our family members and friends mentioned how special it was to have a harpist there, and how much they enjoyed the beautiful music and getting to watch her play so beautifully. Working with Betty Ashton was a wonderful experience from start to finish. She was professional and timely. It was like she just magically appeared (early!) and was ready to go. It was so nice to have one less thing to worry about, and someone who knows exactly what to do and how to do it because of her vast experience. She met with us beforehand and helped us pick out our ceremony music by really listening to what we wanted and offering suggestions. She even made recommendations for the other instruments. Looking back, we are so thankful we had Betty Ashton play for our wedding… It really added so much to the day, and set a reverent and exciting tone for the whole event! She is a true artist – a lovely addition to any special event.

perience with live music playing. She helped me with all the song selections and played different versions for me. She did all my changes and followed perfectly on the wedding day for the last minute change.
The harp is a perfect instrument to have for a romantic outdoor wedding ceremony. By hiring one person, you have this polyphonic richer sound, the elegant appearance and graceful sound also give extra points for the wedding.
It was also a good background music for the receiption. Betty played some old American love songs and some Blues on the harp. It actually surprised me that those songs worked great on the harp which created a happy lovely environment for the guests.
Mrs. Mayo was so helpful in music selection and the music chosen was beautiful, romantic and appropriate for the venue. Would definitely recommend using her!
