consider ourselves cake connoisseurs, and searched long and hard to find a cake that looked amazing but also tasted amazing ( and for a great price). I highly recommend Beverly's for anyone still looking for their wedding cake. So many yummy flavors to choose from. We cannot wait to eat our top tier in one year!

cake was so delicious! We went in after tasting the four basic flavors at our venue, having been told we could ONLY have those flavors. But to our surprise and delight, Jennifer told us that we could have any of the offered flavors and combinations. The caveat was that not every flavor or color combination was appetizing to every wedding guest. So we went through what we wanted (nothing crazy, just a bit of spice for our fall wedding) and the possible complementary flavor combinations. We came to the decision of a mix of red velvet tiers and spice cake tiers with a chocolate ganache layer. Since it was early summer and spice is a seasonal flavor, we weren't able to try it, but we were sure it would be delicious. Then Jennifer walked us though the design. We worked through our ideas and listened to her suggestions and came up with a beautiful design of flowers and scroll work. We grabbed some cupcakes for the family - which were sublime! On the day of our wedding, standing just outside the doorway waiting for my cue to walk down the aisle, before I saw ANYTHING else in the venue, I saw our cake. And it. Was. BEAUTIFUL. I almost started crying at the sight of it. The cake topper we bought to match the design fit so perfectly and the white and gold was the perfect combination of vintage and modern. I managed to sneak two pieces of cake through the night, one of each flavor. Both were excellent. My maid of honor, who hates cream cheese frosting, actually loved Beverly's frosting for it's balance of tart, sweet, and creamy. And the spice, which we were all expecting to be a dark molasses color and heavily flavored - was so light! It was so pleasing and so lightly spiced, no one could have disliked it. I am so glad we chose the venue we did and that we had Beverly's provide our cake!

ioned it. The flavors were very tasty. The only complaint that we would have is that one of our tiers should have been lemon and raspberry. Unfortunately, it was just raspberry filling with "regular vanilla" cake. We could not taste any lime or lemon whatsoever. Other than that, we received plenty of compliments on the flavors. Barb

n another cake vendor for our wedding before we met with Beverly's Best, but we are SO GLAD we switched it up and went with this bakery. They were so meticulous and professional to work with. The cake came out BETTER than expected. Our guests and vendors...vendors who make a living going to weddings, couldn't stop talking about it. The tasting/consultation we did with them went well, but the cake just far EXCEEDED what we expected based on our meetings. Worth every penny!

to confirm the final arrangements. Imagine my surprise when we arrived at their shop and were told they would not be able to deliver as promised! An older woman came out and told us that since our wedding was on a Sunday, they would be closed and unable to accommodate us. Shouldn't this be told to the customer on their very first visit? We specifically told them the ceremony was on a Sunday. Plus, the owner never apologized for the mix-up and was rude! Fortunately, we found a beautiful, quality bakery, "Simply Irresistible" that was more than happy to help us. Not only that, the cupcakes were exceptional - 3 flavors all individually boxed - delivered to our venue and arranged on our table beautifully.

of cake that I wanted but after my consultation I felt that they understand what I was and was not looking for. I basically left most of the creative freedom to them and they did such an excellent job! My wedding cake came out even better than expected and the cake itself was the best that I have ever had. I chose three different flavors and all of them were so moist and flavorful. I had so many compliments from my guests. If you are looking for a wedding cake or special occasion cake I would 100% recommend them!!!

The staff made it very easy for us to make a decision—providing recommendations along the way once we described what we were looking for. On our wedding day we had a few birthday’s and Beverly’s had no problem delivering a few birthday cupcakes in addition to our wedding cake. We felt very confident in Beverly’s service and were extremely happy with our wedding cake. Thank you Beverly’s!! We highly recommend you to anyone!

wedding cakes are more times than not underwhelming. We got several compliments from our guests that the cake/cupcakes were beautiful and tasted so good! I was very happy with their service from the beginning. They were very accommodating in our tasting and made sure all of our details were documented. We love Beverly's Best so much! They also did cupcakes for my bridal shower in August that were amazing as well! I would definitely recommend their services to anyone getting married in the future. Thank you!

Don't worry; they will refund you the same amount at the end of your tasting. We decided to do this about 4 months before our wedding date. While we waited for the cake tasting rep to meet with us, we got to see some of their cake decorations as customers came to pick up their cake orders. There were several eye-popping beauties! They are lavish in the amount of cake they give you for your cake tasting. HUGE SLICES of CAKE! The folks at Beverly's Best have 2 options for buttercream frosting: American and French. This was when we realized why the slices were so big! We could mix and match the cake flavors with the different buttercreams. We savored each bite. They have a wonderful album of wedding cakes that they have done (read more eye-poppingly gorgeous cakes) and the cake decorator that met with us was very easy to work with. We came with picture ideas of what we were looking for in terms of design. She explained the difference between buttercreams and fondant in relation to what we wanted designed and how she would be able to create that look. We thanked her for the cake tasting, got our deposit back, and did some more cake tasting with other vendors. In the end, we loved the cakes that we tasted at Beverly's Best. We chose their French buttercream frosting and 3 different layers of cake. Their serving suggestions for a 3-tier cake feeds roughly 70 people. Our cake actually served 100 people with plenty left over. Everyone delighted in how moist the cakes were, and even more telling was the fact that everyone proclaimed the cakes to be just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, we are happily satisfied customers. The folks there are genuinely happy to help you create the perfect cake for your wedding. They are courteous, friendly, and at great value! I would encourage you to keep this bakery in mind as you plan your cake tasting.

aroons. The cakes were both delicious and beautifully decorated. In fact, when it came time for my husband and I to cut our cake, I whispered to him that it was too pretty to cut! Our guests raved about our cake pops and I was over the moon about how pretty they turned out. The icing had a sparkly look to it and they were each decorated with super cute bows in the style and theme of our wedding. I highly recommend Beverly's Best to any bride who appreciates the details and has a sweet tooth!

exactly what we wanted for our wedding. My only critique is that the top tier cake began to droop and melt as during the reception. The reception was outside and the weather was overcast and not very hot. There was really no reason why this should have happened. Other than that, everything was great!! LOVE THIS BAKERY. Highly recommend!!!

there was an iPad to scroll through cake ideas. At the end we used the concept of one of the cakes shown on iPad but was allowed to personalize and tweak.. She was super supportive of our ideas and helped to offer suggestions as well. The cake turned out beautiful!! And super yummy!!

When we came in the store was extremely busy, so we told her she could go help out the customers if she wished. Their bakery is spotless clean (not so in the other bakeries), and they met with us after hours when my husband and I could come together to taste test. They don't just give you a couple flavors to try. They let you try almost everything! Their fruit fillings are actual preserves, not just sugar fillings. They also didn't shoo us out quickly, but rather let us try a second piece if we needed to compare a couple again. Also, instantly gave us cold water and hot tea! The other bakeries we went to gave us water in tiny dixie cups only after we really had to beg for them. I recommend Beverly's Best to all newly engaged and I can't wait to order a cake just for my husband and I to share on our anniversary! Thank you!
