We absolutely could not recommend Beyond Basil more!! The pizza was SO SO SO good, and we had so many people tell us it was one of the best wedding dinners they’ve ever had.
The whole process was super easy from the beginning. Booking was simple, communication was great, and they were very helpful leading up to the wedding. It made everything feel stress-free.
On the day of, they showed up on time and had everything ready to go. The service was amazing and everyone on their team was so kind and welcoming. We hired two extra bussers and they filled all of the water goblets with water and also moved all 135 chairs from our ceremony space to our reception space! They made sure my husband and I were taken care of and were so, so lovely to us!
The setup looked great and fit our wedding perfectly. The pizza was fresh, hot, and came out quickly, even with a group of 130 people. Everything just ran really smoothly and was a dream!
If you’re thinking about doing pizza for your wedding or event, I would 100% recommend Beyond Basil. It was one of the best decisions we made!!
Great wood fired pizza in a gorgeous food truck by some amazing people. Easy choice! Everyone loved it at our event!

Established in 2019 by Brooklyn and Patrick, a couple who met in New York City, this old vintage horse trailer was bought and transformed into a stylish pizzeria on wheels. Their aim was to provide delicious pizza made from authentic Italian ingredients. As Brooklyn and Patrick's family grew, they sold the trailer to someone who would continue the mobile business's tradition with the same dedication and quality. This is where Kaila and Derek Biggs and Robert and Colleen Biggs come in. Derek is Beyond Basil Mobile Pizzeria's talented chef. He creates every mouth-watering pizza using imported flour from Italy and cooks it in a brick oven, which was also made in the beautiful peninsula. Chef Derek uses traditional Neapolitan techniques to bring you and your loved ones fantastic dishes that will delight your taste buds.
With Beyond Basil Mobile Pizzeria, you can expect anything from beloved pizza recipes, such as Margherita, Three Cheeses, and Pepperoni, as well as more creative menu items like Honey Apple, and Spicey Salami. Appetizers like crostini, hummus, and charcuterie boards, as well as salads and non-alcoholic drinks, are also available.
