Beyond the Apron Events is a Sonoma County, CA, wedding planning and event company built on more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, food, and events — and the belief that a beautiful wedding should also be a really good time. Founder Kacy Fowler has spent her career behind the scenes of great hospitality, from restaurants and professional kitchens to managing weddings and special events at The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe and later working as a corporate chef. It all comes together at Beyond the Apron, where good food, thoughtful hospitality, creative ideas, and knowing how to make an event actually work are all part of the plan. That background shows up in the way Kacy plans. She sees the pretty, but she also sees the practical — how the space will actually work, how dinner will flow, what the vendors need, where guests will naturally gather, and what needs to happen next without anyone having to ask. It’s part planner, part producer, part hospitality brain that never really turns off. Beyond the Apron offers full-service planning, partial planning, and final-month coordination throughout Sonoma County and Wine Country, with an especially soft spot for private properties, outdoor spaces, really good food, thoughtful details, and weddings with some personality. Kacy wants to know what you’re excited about, what you couldn’t care less about, what you want your guests to remember, and what will make the day feel like yours.
